*Synge looks a bit confused as she passes Fire, hoping that she is alright. She stops for a moment and looks at her, noticing that she doesn't look the greatest. Turning to face Aykon it is apparent that she is at least a bit concerned.*
Is she alright?

Yeah...she just had an episode...she'll be fine. If she isn't...I will see to it that she becomes fine.

*Synge still looks concerned, but she simply nods and takes a seat at the bar. Not saying anything for a moment she pulls on her hair nervously and shifts about in her seat. Then she turns to Aykon with a fresh smile and lets her hands rest on the counter.*
Well good. So, what have you been up to today? It is pretty dead again...

Are you ok? Do you need anything?
*Aykon takes a drag off his smoke and looks around at the tavern and sighs.*
Yeah...its been slow again...this time it's too slow. I am thinking about downsizing...all this big old building isn't being used.

Are you sure you're okay? You seem...well...odd.
*He takes a long drag and looks up to the roof and back down to you with a half frown.*
No...it's not an easy task...it means I will have to restore my old building, move everyone here into there and find something to do with this building. I don't know what to do anymore...I sometimes question if I should even be running the place anymore.

*Synge lets out a deep breath and looks down to the ground for a moment, then back up to Aykon with a smile.*
No, I'm fine. Maybe I am a bit odd today though.
*She curiously follows your eyes up to the rook and back down and nods along with your words.*
I guess I can understand that, with it being so dead lately. It would be hard to maintain something that no one seemed to be appreciating. Of course, there are those who really love it here, me being one of those people...If you weren't here, where would you be?

*Aykon's searching eyes were trained on you as you talked. He nodded and seems to become more inquisitive than normal.*
You are odd today? Why is that? Something going on?
*He looks around dejectedly at the place and then puffs on his smoke.*
If I wasn't here...well, I would either live in my house here in Gaia or head back to Earth. Sometimes I feel like the very existence of myself and this building puts people at risk. Of course, I would have to work out ways to see Rhodes when she's here.

*Synge seems to notice the interest Aykon has taken in her mood today, which she continues to try and brush off. Today was not something she enjoyed thinking about. Twirling a strand of her around her finger she laughs softly and smiles once more.*
Oh who knows, maybe I need to get out of my room more often, or meet new people.
*When you look around the place, and not at her, she lets out a silent sigh and frowns. Straightening up again she nods at your words.*
Oh I see. Hmm, is Earth nicer than your home here? What do you do there?

((Sorry for the lag, had to actually do some work. ))
*Aykon knew something else was wrong but could tell Synge was not in any condition to be further pressed.*
Maybe so, can't hurt to get some air from time to time.
*He talks softly and slowly, he was obviously under some form of uneasiness.*
I love people here...my tavern visitors are such wonderful people...but I have a love at home too. When I am not here, I live in a large city called Los Angeles, it is one of of the biggest new cities on earth. When I am there, I teach. I teach at a university and help mold future leaders.

*Synge looked over to Aykon with a somewhat surprised look on her face, she could hardly believe he was done questioning her. Still, she felt somewhat relieved by the new lack of interest in her attitude. Her expression eased up as she listened to him speak.*
I see, it must be hard to be torn between two worlds. Are you missing that home?

(( Working again, yeah... I actually have to work to get paid...I mean who heard of that. )) *It was obvious in the way that he carried himself that Aykon wasn't going to push too hard today, to some this might be refreshing but to others it might come across as very concerning.*Yeah...I live two lives. When I am in Gaia, time seems to be frozen on Earth but when I leave Gaia, only a month or two of Earth time can be a year here...so much changes. I find that I love my relaxation here but that I don't actually belong here...I wasn't supposed to be here in the first place but due to an agreement with the Council of 9, I was allowed to exist between two worlds.
