Random picture: a dust mite!!
They live in the carpet, winter clothing, mattresses, and bedding. They feed off household dust which mostly consist of animal/human skin flakes.

I read that a double-size bed has about 500 million resident dust mites. there are more dust mites in a single bedroom than there are people on earth (i think). IT's a good thing we're bigger than they are.
