Smiling, Kero pulls himself out of the ground, moving over to her and nuzzling her before he pulls her out.
"There we are, my ticklish beloved. Now you have been caught, and planted like a seed in the process."

"Hmph..." grumbles Ai good naturely. "A pit trap... I can't believe you caught me in a pit trap. I don't remember that being part of the bargain."
Kero chuckles softly, helping her to brush off the dirt. He hasn't the heart to tell her it really wasn't planned. Then she leans against him without warning, almost knocking him flat, and rubs herself along his body.
"Well you've caught me fair and square... so what happens now..." she purrs evilly.

Kero smiles, licking her muzzle as he rubs back, tantalizing her with his scent.
"I think you know very well what happens, my naughty little lioness. So what shall we do, hm?"

"Hmmm... what shall we do... I could make you chase me some more... but I'm beat." she chuckles running her tail under his nose. "We could go sleep it off...." she ventures again, this time she somehow manages to almost floor him with her scent as she does much the same with her body. "Or... we could...." but she doesn't get the rest of it out before nature takes it's course.

Nature takes its course indeed. Now Ai gets a full taste of what Fortuny went through when she went in with a warping Kero. Only this time, Kero is in full possession of his mind, and is trying to make it the best thing that has ever happened to them. Apparently, he is succeeding.

At first the only thing that runs through Ai's mind is the fearful encounter she had had with Kero when Tam found himself fighting him off on that first fateful night. Then her body takes over and all fear evaporates. This was right, this was the way it should be.

Indeed it was, and when they are finished, Kero nuzzles her again, easily ready to go once more.
However, this time, something was off...

Maybe it's because she's so tired, maybe not, but Ai doesn't react at first, then she squirms in his grip trying to get away, but only for a short time. And by the time he's done, she's limp with exhaustion and more than a little stunned. Staggering away she plops down on the gournd and shakes her head.
"Let's find a place to sleep, I"m bushed."

Kero snuggles up next to her, nodding.
"I know a good place, my beloved. Here, I'll take you there."
Hoisting her onto his back, he gently carries her to a cave in the ridge, one he felt when he was tunneling. Laying her down, he snuggles in close, and they both drop into a deep sleep.

The cave is perfect, not too deep and rather shallow, but just the right size, and it catches the full moon perfectly, funneling the ambient glow into where they sleep. The strange light makes Ai antsy and Kero feel as though his fur is on too tight. Thus they find themselve wide awake several times during the night.

Wide awake, and retracing their old steps, as it were. Sometimes right, sometimes not. Soon, however, the sun rises on an incident when it is not.

Half awake when Kero makes his move Ai is in no move for hs poor aim. Trouble is, she can't do much about it in her current position. So she endures getting testier by the second.

Kero finally finishes, and nuzzles her gently, licking her muzzle.
"What's the matter, sweetheart?"
