I'm not planning on throwing a character in. I don't plan on adding him in for a while, maybe after the next big arc, so I know the flow of things a little better and can be sure its what I really want.
Here is what I was thinking so far, which works for both a human and an elf. He sees her in Baron selling love potions, he tries to get her to come out with him but she isn't very receptive... he doesn't give up. He is a young, clean cut man who comes from a big family. And... some of the rest should be left up to some surprise.... but don't worry it's nothing HUGE that will change ANY aspect of the RP except KD's life a little.

@ KD: All I'm getting out of that explanation so far is that a rich stalker would be going after some elven girl for no apparent reason. Uh huh. What are the guy's motives for going after her? How would it change KD's life? How do you think that introducing an unrequited love interest that won't stop at any end would not affect any part of the RP? ._.
FYI: After Pen's arc is mine, and I'll be developing important things for the arc after in lieu of participating. That means there won't be any in-between things like there is right now in the RP. Arcs take 4-8 weeks on average, not factoring in school, jobs, access issues, or general RPer laziness. You have TONS of time on your hands to perfect your ideas before writing them! Remember when I posted the link to the last time the guild posted their impressions of characters? That was roughly 6 to 7 months ago. I started writing the arc after the upcoming one at that time. Am I finished with it? I'm just now putting the finishing touches on it. Have I revised it? Several times, with help from different people. I'm not saying you need to put exactly that much work into it, but tbh a lot of ideas sound better in the head than on paper or computer screen; We've all had that issue before.
@ Pen: Oh lol, I remember that clearly... I thought the whole thing was out of character. gonk

@ KD: I personally loved the idea of KD having a human love interest! We could get an idea of where everyone stands on the whole "Interracial" (Elf and Human) bit. Like, for example:
Pen and Luciano would obviously have no problems with KD's new lover, because both of them grew up around humans- Luciano's foster parents are human, and the people that took care of Pen were human. But maybe (Now keep in mind, it's still an example) Skotti would probably flip a s**t about the whole thing because Humans ******** up his life- Or Aly would hate the whole idea to death because humans took away one of her family's plots of land, or something.
But yeah. . . smile Just work a little on WHY he pursues her, and all of that, and it just might be a perfect Masterpiece!

Certainly an interesting idea...I personally don't know how Aly would take it.
Well...no if it involved her family. She would become rather obsessive over the issue. A probably if her Mother dubbed the relationship a threat, Aly would have no problem killing the guy. She would probably turn him into an experiment.

@ Aly: That doesn't surprise me. lol
Luciano's family wouldn't have any issues if any of them were dating a human or two. But I think the whole reason they're ok with humans is because Luciano's foster parents are human. If he weren't raised by humans, I don't think they would care too much for them at all.

As I go along in this roleplay, I learn more about the Crescents and how they act. I kinda think of them as a kingdom ruled by a shadow ruler and her advisers. The different states of families in them are often shifting alliances, declaring new enemies, and attempt to attack the main family. However they all come together if they believe the family/kingdom is in danger. I love my little Crescents...I've especially come to love Xullonia.

@ Waffle: Tell me about it. I need to figure out a guy that would make sense for Pen or she will be single forever. However I'm quite satisfied with what she has become and with the development I got for her, a bf will have to be pushed farther away.
@ Topic: Styk hit the nail head for Pen's reaction. Human race is pretty close to her heart though she would question it to start.
You also have the whole Elves live centuries longer than humans. So it will become a tragic love story. Maybe he can be a kill off. smile

KD, Aly and her family wouldn't kill him, unless they see him as a threat to they're family as a whole.
In truth the Crescents don't care. They wouldn't even blink, since the relationship neither improves or destroys their work.
In truth...Nari appearance or at least her working for a different company bothers Aly.
