Kate thought for a minute. "You know," she commented, "there's always the chance that Sheo could try and reverse your... negative side, although your more stable side might not like that. But," she cut herself off, "that's just a passing thought. I thought... that... maybe... this laboratory might have the equipment needed to kill Vincent."
Of course, Kate knew almost nothing of what would be needed. She only knew two ways, both very difficult, to kill Mythlings. Sheo, no doubt, because of safety reasons, knew more.

"As nice as that would be, im sure, lord only knows how that could affect Jun...And even if Sheo could get us both to be sane and not evil, that might not necessarily be a good thing..." Jin said looking out the window. "I mean, i can tell it's hard enough on you having the evil twin act just like him, i doubt it'd be just as bad having both around...But that's a matter for after Vincent goes down. And as for the equipment, well, only one way to find out right?" he said trying to lighten the mood a little as he looked back at Kate.

While that was true, it truly wasn't very effective at the mood-lightening agenda. However, Kate had a task once again, and as long as she had that, she could focus and ignore her own personal griefs. "Yeah... um... does he have a lot- did he have... anyway, a lot of rare resources readily available? Like, elements on the periodic chart, that is?"

"Honestly, i haven't got a clue. I wound up just following orders or standing around waiting for one. Anything i touched in that mess was already ready to go, no assembly required, so you'll have to look and see for yourself what he had." Jin said.

"Okay," Kate said, looking around. They were still parked.
"Nobody's going to take this piece of crap, so--I'm ready to go, then. We'll see if we can't find some mercury, or something...."

"Alright then...Home sweet home, here i come..." Jin said with grim sarcasm as he closed his eyes with a sigh and put a hand on Kate's shoulder. they vanished in a burst of darkness and reappeared in the middle of what looked like frankenstein's lab. the large room was made of stone and seemed to be separated into different areas. in one area were shelves upon shelves of books, another area had tables covered in notes and pages of different research material. there was also a corner of the room with tables of different beakers, chemicals, and other such things of a mad scientist. and then there was the giant circle of runes on the ground beneath their feet with two large tubes on either side of it, each big enough to hold a person and bubbling with some strange liquid. in all, the room had taken on a thin layer of dust wherever it could get to. "Well, here you go...'Master's' lab and my and Jun's birthplace..." he said wandering over to one of the large tubes.

Kate looked around in awe. Unfortunately, she had no clue what most of these contraptions and equipment did or were for. "Now," she said, half-afraid that Jin was going to jump into a hole or something, "we wait for Sheo...."

"No chance we could somehow make her come out faster, is there? No offense or anything, but i've been trying to avoid this place after our creator kicked the bucket..." Jin said looking around, taking in bad memories.

Kate sighed. "Um... dunno... maybe if I'm around things Sheo likes... cats... steaks... weapons." Suddenly, Kate turned and walked over to Jin, placing a hand on his shoulder.
"You okay? If there's some type of armory here, that might do the trick... I'm sorry I made you come here, though...."

"Yeah, i'll be fine....Hang on, i think i know what'll work..." Jin said walking over a to a bookshelf and running his finger along the spines. "Here we go!" he said pulling a book. it was thin and rather worn; nothing more than some pages strung together with a slab of leather for a makeshift front and back cover. "Random notes and pictures 'master' use while making us. He obviously needed something to work off of, henceforth the feline parts. Aaaand in the back should some pictures i'd taken myself and left there...For blackmailing Jun at a later date....I still don't know where he found the yarn..." he said talking about some polaroids of Jun chasing a mouse, playing with a ball of yarn, and sleeping curled up a like a cat in a corner somewhere.

Kate took the book and began flipping through it, scrutinizing the pages. "And here I thought you were going to open a secret passage," she remarked without looking away from the book, chuckling.

"Yeah, well, sorry to disappoint..." Jin said with a smirk as he wandered over to a table covered in papers and notes. "Like i said, i really don't know my way around all the lab stuff, so i guess i'll just stay out of your way until you're done..."

Kate dropped the book (gently) on a nearby table and shrugged. "I've read this book front cover to back. It isn't helping at--"
Suddenly Kate froze. Her hands began to tremble. She was looking at Jin in an odd way. "U-um... Jin?" She whispered. "Can you... uh... let me feel your tail?"
It was still Kate... but she seemed to be on the brink of something. Something such as changing.
