OneWithDunamis Wyrn Grew up in Texas. I don't have a drawl though. In fact I don't really have an accent. Everyone has an accent. It's just more "normal" within your local community. Actually no. I have no accent because you can't place it to a regional area. I've had voice training. If you hear me talk you would not know where I am from. I lived in the Panhandle. We had this nifty thing called the KKK parade each year. I think it qualifies as Bible Belt.

So if you don't sound like a Brit, a Brit would say you have an accent. Maybe I should hear how you speak before I go further with this.

Dun, If I ever get a mic. I would only speak using a bad British accent just for the hell of it and so that I won't disappoint the people that picture me using one.

I picture everyone as American after so long. It's so weird that Americans on the whole seem to think that it's the Brits with 'an accent'. I mean, the amount of accents in Great Britain is ridiculous to assign it to one accent. I don't even know what accent they're talking about when people say a British accent. D: I don't know what I'm meant to sound like!
On the other hand, Texan accents make me drool. And German ones. We went to a foreign languages in careers and universities conference thing today. I died a little inside from all the German and French people there with delicious accents~~~~.
