Lestat_616 ... Could someone help me? I was going to post this in the general forums, but I decided against it. I'm having so much freakin trouble with the triple triad card game in final fantasy 8, and I was wondering if somebody could help me understand the rules better. I've lost all but four games and I'm pretty sure it was luck. You did say VIII? Yeah. Had to read back. OK so the general idea is kinda like this. Each card has 4 rankings that correspond to a side. The top ranking represents the top side of the card. The bottom is for the bottom, and the sides for their respective sides.
Now, Each rank can range from 1 to A. With A being the best. The basic idea is pretty simple. The sides of the cards fight. So if you have a card that has a rank 7 on the left side and it's fighting a car that has a rank 8 on the right side, the rank 8 card will win.
Think of it as a game of old fashioned WAR. Where you threw down a card and the higher card won the hand. It's the same principle.
From there it get's more complicated. Starting with Combos, and eventually getting into elements. I enjoyed it. But I kinda cheated, as well. I saved after every game so that if I ever lost, I could restart and try again.
Did the same thing In X with the Blitzball games.

That helps quite a bit, though the other rules are...uhh...dumb? The same and plus rules are the most difficult for me to understand. Especially when it's same/plus and elemental and random and this and that. *sigh* I'm about to just start it over and try not to blow my first time playing cards... I lost all my good cards in the first couple games.

How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
Seriously. The woodchuck is nothing more than a groundhog. So the real question should be;
How many pounds in a groundhog mound when a groundhog pounds hog mounds?

Tired, tired and more tired...Had a garage sell today. Originally was waking up at 7, but instead it was 5:30 when a crash of stuff broke the little sleep I managed to get. Big tree branch snapped, so that was the highlight of the garage sell. Our neighbor came over to help chop the rest of it down with his saw, so that was nice. Soooooooooo tired......Then dragging those huge pieces of that branch across the yard was even more fun.
