Maddy woke up as Star landed. She recalled her friend and situated herself on her usual rock. She lay back and stared at the stars, thinking. "Hmmm..."

Once she was inside, Sammy sat on the floor and looked up at the ceiling, daydreaming. It seemed to be a happy daydream, too, because she was smiling the whole time. Her gaze was elsewhere as she dreamed... Squirt walked up to Jack, poking his arm playfully.

Ginji smiled as he thought of his plan. It was perfect. Absolutely perfect. Now to set it in motion. Sammy wouldn't know what hit her.

Squirt continued to poke Jack. "Squirtle-squirtsquirtle?" He asked; sadly, no one could tell what he said. Sammy closed her eyes as she sat on the floor, thinking of the afterlife. Maybe if she thought about it enough it would just... happen.

Jack picked Squirt up and let out Riolu. "Can to translate buddy?" He asked, hoping to use Riolu's telepathy to his advantage.

Squirt simply pointed to the day-dreaming Sammy. He looked sad about it, but he continued to poke Jack playfully.

Squirt poked back, too, a little harder than before. Sammy got up, sitting in a chair. "Are you mad at me, Jack?" Sammy asked; he just had that aura about him that told her that.
