No but srsly like I'm sure it was supposed to end after G/S (AFTER THE 90s). The way Ho-Oh appeared in the first episode... it was like it was going to wrap up in some finale where he meets Ho-Oh or something

Instead they just reset Ash and Team Rocket with every new region with new Misty/Brock replacements and it's just so stale now. It should have ended. It could have ended really well, too. They coulda at least done like in Digimon and made new protagonists for new seasons?

for the latest i really expected plasma to be a main antagonist with rocket doing things here and there (we'd all miss em, admit it) but i've yet to see any evidence of plasma, their goal for the world, and ash has like 5 badges.
so NYEEEEHHHHHHHHHHHH
the show is dead.
