As his arms tightened, she gritted her teeth as the electrical current intensified, wanting to swear again but finding herself unable.
Instead she let her head fall forwards and then threw it back with all the force she could. She winced, not for herself, but for Reeve as she felt cartilage give way.

Krunch.
"Aargh! B'y node!"
Reeve releases a hand, reaching for his nose instinctively. Blood flecking in the water, he releases the pent-up lightning in the clouds.
"Rairyusen!"
Lightning falls from the sky, converging on the two with a mighty thunderclap.

Yeah, I guess your right. You're the only one of us who seems to still have their head attached after a crisis...Metaphoricly speaking...For the most part.. I think I'm going to sleep here tonight...It's nice and peaceful..And hey...Thanks, for everything.

Seph's ears perked up. Was that spar still going on? They had to be exhausted. Seph shook his head and chuckled, standing and moving back into the kitchen. He poked the kettle, and not a second later, it began to whistle uncontrollably.

"Yes, well, I've had practice. It might even be part of my job description." She shrugged, smiling. "You're quite welcome. Enjoy sleeping in a place that looks like this."
She chakra-jumped back up to the exit floor after bowing to Neko politely, heading back out to the main room.
Place is pretty deserted tonight...

Looking up from the couch, Tutsumi waved slowly towards Nyl with a slight smile on his face. He knew nothing about her predicament or even what else had happened during the past few days around the Academy.
"How's it going, Nyl?"

Seph poured another mugfull and walked back out into the main room. He froze upon seeing Nyl, then pointed his thumb into the kitchen, over his shoulder. "Tea's up, if you're interested." He made his way back to the couch, flopping down with his fresh mug.

"Thanks, Seph." She went into the kitchen and came back with a mug of tea, sitting on a couch that was somehow opposite both Seph and Tut at the same time.
Her gaze flicked toward the front door. "Are those two still sparring out there?"

He sipped his tea, nodding boredly. "Sure are. Don't know how much longer Reeve'll be able to keep up, though." He grinned behind his lifted mug.

"Kinda, I'm waiting for something I ordered. They say it's supposed to store extra energy and then let you use it when you need it. Either way it really doesn't matter. Kinda thinking about just relaxing and teaching...no more spars, no more fights...unless it's total impending doom upon everyone and we need everyone. Sounds peaceful, no?"
Yawning softly, Tutsumi's smile faded slightly but still showed on his face. At least this way he might be able to settle down and find a way to bring back...no...he couldn't do that. He'd find his time for something else.

As soon as she was free, she'd made a dash for shore but the lightening hit her full on. A cry tore itself from her lips as she arched back, arms extended. The pain ripped through her and it was almost impossible to keep the chakra at the bottom of her feet but somehow she managed it. And then it was over.
Her body sagged and she was distantly aware of a burn working it's way from her shoulder, beneath her shirt and down to her abdomen. She stumbled a few steps in what she hoped was the direction of the shore.
It seemed an eternity but soon she felt the safety of sand beneath her feet and fell into a makeshift sitting position, trying to catch her breath. The shock was starting to wear off, the pain becoming more intense as she slowly became re-aquainted with reality.
She watched Reeve, still out on the water, through narrow eyes. .

Laughing slightly as he twirled a sakura petals between his fingers, tossing it towards the wall of the Dojo and watching it actually cut right into it before it faded away back into his hands.
"Nyl, I haven't been needed here in awhile other than teaching. You, all of you, are well powerful enough to take care of things. Hell, sometimes I think of you, Seph, Neko and Clow as the Quad team. And sometimes just the Tri. I can relax, I can feel it in my bones."

Seph propped his feet up on the coffee table, crossing them, slouching way down in the couch. He looked at the windows, wishing for the cool breeze he'd felt outside on the backporch. He smiled, satisfied, the mug raised up infront of his face.
"I smell a cookout.." He said, rather out of the blue. The charcoal smell had gotten stronger. Maybe it was just because of the cold.
