I loves me some Dobby. If I were a witch I would hire Dobby as a worker and pay him and let him wear whatever he wants. And also he could eat dinner with us.

And that is totally adorable. I likes it.

I am glad he died in the last book, I would have missed him if he'd died before that.

Me too. We'll I'm not glad he died, but I'm glad he did something great when he died. He saved Harry since Harry saved him. That was so sweet ^.^

Well, obviously I didn't want him to die. But I'm glad that he died in such a heroic manner. And also that he got to be honored by Harry, who meant so much to him.

I'm a little emotional about funerals right now because my papa is going to die. Mama says that it's probably going to be before the week is out.

Death is never a fun thing to experience, but at least you know the one you love will be out of pain and suffering now. I hope you get more time with him before he passes on.

Zhili: Thank you for the PM, it was very nice.

Puppet: Unfortunatelty, he isn't going to get better, but it's ok. Suze is right, I'm just happy that soon he won't be hurting and that he will be at peace.

And it upsets me, but I do want him to go. He is hurting so much right now. I'm a little mad at my grandmother and my aunt Leslie, because of them he is fighting it and it's making him hurt more.

Anyways... on a slightly less depressing subject... I saw HBP, yays!!!

I liked it a lot more than I thought I would. Although I didn't like how they
focused so much on Ron's relationship and so little on the stuff between Harry and Ginny. I mean, it's nice that they gave Ron some spotlight for once, but all they really did with Harry and Ginny was awkward looks and that on scene with Harry and Hermione, and even that was mostly about Ron. Plus it bothered me that they focused so much on the relationships and so little on the HBP stuff. I mean, that's the name of the book/movie, HBP. So what do they think they are doing cutting so much of that out?! (in white)

Yeah. I rambled a bit there.

I did like how they handled Dumbledore's death scene, especially since they
cut out his funeral. (in white)

Before anyone asks I am putting things about the movie in white in case someone who hasn't seen it yet doesn't want to know what they did to change the story, ok. I know everyone knows what happens in the book, which is why the stuff in white is all stuff that is specifically how the movie changed it.

Scottie - may your papa and family be at peace and out of pain soon. I know it's not easy.

I just voted in the Summer Banner contest for Suze, our one Gryffindor entry (and the best!). 6 people have voted so far, and she's tied for the lead (2 votes) right now. So please vote - let's win this one. Oops, sorry, Cy Black has a great entry too! So please vote for one or the other!

I loved the HBP movie, SPOILER: though I know our Harry wouldn't have remained below unless he was stupefyed. And what's with no battle? No Bill and Fleur (could have had a scene with them at the Burrow too)? I also thought Dumbledore's honoring was well done, though I wanted a funeral. I really wanted to cry, the way I did when Albus honored Cedric Diggory. But I hear they will do the funeral in the first Deathly Hallows movie. Despite that I thought the movie was great!

Agreed. I think that this one is actually the one I have liked best, which is funny since the book version is one of two in the series that I didn't like as much (the other being CoS).

I hadn't voted yet because last night when I was on there was no poll. But I shall do so now!!!

I just re-read COS, funny! I decided to re-read the whole series this summer. I'm finding paragraphs I didn't remember. And I liked COS much better on the re-read.
It was so sweet - Harry's first visit to the Burrow, and Ginny being all shy and awkward. And how could Hermione ever like Lockwood? Yuck!

I'm rereading the series backwards, though not on purpose. I was in my room bored and wanted to read something, so I picked up DH, and then a couple weeks ago I was looking for something in HBP, snd stuff like that just kept happening... I didn't realize what I was doing until like halfway through GoF.

And he passed away around 3 yesterday. Thank you for being so supportive, guys.
