You might have been the one to show me that image, come to think of it.
I love drilling down and fully exploring/fleshing-out a tiny subset of an ability. Super powers can be so much fun!
Sight range is a good limitation for someone as strong as Magneto.

creation/manipulation of shadow is energy and light. Light is used for visual senses. If one cannot see it, how would he know the nuances of shadows? It just seems logical to me that if he can't see it, he can't do anything. I suppose if you blindfolded him, he could use it within a few feet/inches of his body, but beyond that, he would be doing it blindly and too dangerously.

I agree that it makes sense as a limitation, but so often super powers aren't thought through (not that I would ever suspect you of that heart ).

I do my best to always thrown in some sort of limitation, weakness, or achilles heel. There should always be a way to get away or stop a power.

Naturally, it's no fun otherwise, though I suppose god-modders would disagree...

Yeah, there will always be the ones to need absolute power- and I feel the urge . . . but flaws make it fun.

Yup, I agree.
So, how has your trip been going (assuming you left already)?

Things are going okay . . . food is decent to good, company is lovely, and if I could just get a good night's rest, things would be awesome. sweatdrop

Well, it's good that you're getting along w/ your classmates/professors.
Insomnia sucks, and jet lag combined w/ moving times zones can wreak havok on your circadian rhythm.

today it was 5 local time, with a leg cramp. My time in Walmart gave me a bad back, and if it does not get the support it wants, my leg cramps up in a charlie horse easily (when the calf muscle cramps painfully).

That's awful... Unfortunately, there's not much one can do to strengthen the back once it's already bad. Thankfully you only have to bear w/ being there for a little longer.
