Hotari frowned and reached over the counter to brush Lena's arm. She didn't quite know what to say to make her feel better, other than reiterate what she'd said already. She knew her brother loved Lena, it was obvious. But she knew that it was in him to chase others, as she'd done it too. It was something their parents ahd left in them, not quite something they could forget about. She bit her lip and tilted her head slighlty, not quite sure if Lena would be up for it, but she was going to try to suggest it anyways.
Well...you...could always do what he did...Maybe it'll change him some...and he won't want to kiss other girsl?

Lena shook her head "it'd serve him right.... but, I don't think I could do that.... plus I don't know that it'd change anything for the better, it'd probably just make things worse....."

Hotari nodded, not quite thinking that through. She tilted her head the other direction, shifting her hand to place it on Lena's. well...sometimes...thinks have to get worse before they can get better...you know? She offered a smile to Lena, though she knew that Lena's heart was probably in pieces.

Lena smiled slightly to Hotari for a moment before saying "maybe... but I just dunno.... I'd feel awful doing that, even if he's done the same to me... I still love him, and don't want to hurt him...."

Hotari nodded and shifted to sit back on teh barstool, propping her elbow on the counter and resting her chin on her palm as she thought a moment. Have you gotten the chance to talk to him? Ask him why he feels he needs to find affection from others? She knew that that talk had done well for her, and she no longer felt the need to give devotion to more than one.

Hotari frowned, shaking her head some in thought. I really don't understand what my brother is thinking sometimes...she sighed, looking to Lena with soft bluegreen eyes.

Nayomi-chan He wondered a moment why she would offer help and waved a hand dismissively. A smile twisted on his face devilishly and he let his claws tap against the handle gently, his fingers feeling over the leather slowly to relax himself. He wasn't sure why she was anxious but it was starting to rub off on him.... dangit...
"I can handle it, no worries." He let his fingers slowly curl and recurl around the handle, fitting into the small grooves he'd made there from working with it for years.

Madison smiled,although it looked more maniac then she would have hoped. And upong seeing her reflection in his axes metalic surface she was reminded of the joker from batman. Needless to say she lessened the amount of teeth showing.
If that's what you would prefer
She finished,smiling and motioned towards the door.
Would you rather go elsewhere? Say....the gardens?
The thought of fresh scented roses seemed to have drifted in her mind and she could barely keep it out.

Hotari shook her head, smiling softly. You should talk to him...she whispered, nodding her head in agreement with herself. He'll listen if you tell him you're concerned. She shifted her hand to reach for the drink she'd ordered, and looked to Lena again. Would you like me to send for him?

Hotari giggled, blushing softly as she shook her head. You don't have to thank me, I'll talk to you anytime! She giggled again and blew a kiss to Lena as her image faded, drink in her hand.
After a silent moment, Shinji pushed the door open, expecting to see Hotari, not Lena. He paused in the doorway a moment as he looked to her, then swallowed the lump in his throat and let the door shut behind him as he entered, a slight glare in his eyes as he silently cursed at his younger sister.

No...Not really...He sighed, not quite able to bring himself to look her in the eyes yet. He made his way to the counter, his boots dropping heavily against the flooring, his arms swaying with his walk. He shifted onto a barstool and hung his head some, moving only his eyes through his hair to look to Lena.

"we have to talk about all of this eventually.. so I figure it's better off to do it sooner rather than later..." Lena got up from her seat behind the bar and moved around to the other side of the bar as she spoke, sitting down beside Shinji.
