Cosmona smiled "Yes, forgive us, perhaps I should have told your mother we were coming first. They only let us in because I told them we had urgent business with you two, and I showed them my proof of relevance to you two. Anyway" She looked to Loki as he took Cam outside "It concerns the boy and his true purpose, as well as his wellbeing. I don't want him hearing, because it is better if he didn't know."

Honey held an angry expression as the man left. She ran over to Kyoshiro and checked his pulse as well as the status of his soul "Oh my god, Taki, we need to get him some help, he is not dead at all! Kyosuke was wrong, his soul is intact, it is just dormant inside his body...but if he does not recieve the nourishment and other things the body needs, he will die. Do you know anything about waking people up from a coma?"

Haru tilted his head to the side, He spoke up when she started to talk about Cam. "He would most likely forget anything you say, assuming of course he understands any of it."
He winced at the thought his sister sent him.
"I think you and I should speak alone, Cosmona-sama" Hikaru said gently.
Haru vanished and appeared outside, next to Loki and shrugged. "I was forcefully ejected from the equation." He glanced at Cam suspiciously.
Scott bowed slightly. He regarded the youth through his mirrored shades. He remembered the time they had first fought, and all the times after that Tony had complained about. When Scott made his son follow him around to get more information. The kid in front of him was different in more than just abilities. He may still have all the pride in the world, but he was coming to him for help. He smirked. "I know a place. We can talk on the way there." He started off towards the edge of the city.

Cosmona gave a slightly unstrustworthy look "Alright then, I am sure you have noticed, Cambyses has a special power, yet he himself is not aware of it."
Loki smiled to Haruko "You know, my granddaughter is extremely lucky to have found someone as dedicated and caring as you. It is an honor to finally meet you." He placed his hand on Haruko's shoulder "Please, do not fret, you will get her back soon, just be patient. I know it must feel like that is the impossible right now, but you must beleive me, Xiaedessa will never lose to that vile creature"
Cambyses was sitting on the ground playing with Noodle, as if he had not a care in the world

Tears flooded his eyes and he heard the words he had been longing to hear for what seemed like an eternity. He felt the necklace move to protect him, but he shook it away. His body began to rise and fall with his sobs so much that he fell to his knees. All of the feelings and the fears and the pain all torrented through him.
Hikaru nodded. "None can harm him. Although I sense something else as well. Something that has not yet revealed itself."

"I was trying not to touch on the subject, but I understand." She smiled brightly. "I promise, no more fighting her." Looking back out to the mushroom clouds, Asuka's eyes danced about them, trying to think of what to say or do from here. "Anyways, how's about we head out, and find something to do? Just starring out the window like this is getting kind of dull."

"So, we got some minor scraps braking out on all fronts, and now a mass attack to Japan. Nothing we got can really detect the source."
"We can get very small readings, but nothing conclusive. What ever was used, was just coming out in our time, and perfect later on."
"So, whomever did this, is from a time farther in the future then you guys? Damn this ******** blows." Bardok took a few sips of his latte, then released a big sigh. "We got our work cut out for us. All we can do now is use our time wisely."

Cosmona nodded "Yes, he doesn't seem to be able to be harmed by direct attacks. This is because of what he is. Cambyses is the Key to the Chaos Gate, which apparently, the Black Star Nation has come into possessing. It can only be opened by using him as the activation key, with the six Iconic Relics as catalysts. If it were opened, everything, all of existence, on all fronts, would be absorbed into nothingness as the Cleft would appear and devour it all. We believe that is why he was stolen before he was even born, by the Black Star Nation. He is the only one who can be used for this purpose, as he is not only pure, he is the one being in this plane of existence with an untaintable, innocent soul. Our theory is, the Black Star Nation has been subjecting him to horrific tests and experiments to be 100% sure he is the Key, that he is untaintable and innocent. But his signal proves it. Unfortunately, it seems that the trauma of the possible experiments and tests has left him with a very young mind, and he lacks the ability to speak. Like a child, he does not understand more mature things. From what I have gathered, the Black Star Nation is striving to quickly obtain those six relics, and they will also be coming for Cam. Please, Promise me you will protect him. As long as they do not have him, they cannot fully realize their goal." She looked around to be sure Haruko was not in earshot "Also, there is the matter of Xiaedessa. We have been developing a way to save her, thanks to a tip given to us by Miss Olivia. How she obtained this information is beyond me, but nonetheless, it seems that it may work." She pulled out what looked to be a small ice pick, and handed it to Hikaru "If you can manage to lure her into a containment field, stab her through the heart with this. Do not worry, it will not kill her, but it will latch onto Medium, and hold her in place. Once that occurs, you must cast a disintegration spell. If you fail, both you and Xiaedessa will die, but it is the best we can do, and it is the only way to destroy Medium once and for all. I want you to do this, as you are not as emotionally unstable at the moment as your brother, it must be done perfectly and exactly at the right time, when the pick begins to glow with the dark energies of Medium. Otherwise the spell will only consume Xiaedessa's body and kill her, as well as backfire and kill you as well. There is absolutely no margin for error, do you understand me?"
Loki held the boy in an embrace, patting his back slightly "Crying is a good thing, my boy, it is a positive way of releasing pent up feelings of negativity. I wish I could cry, but alas, I have forgotten how..."

Kyosuke followed Scott for some ways before he started speaking. "A situation has developed not to long ago. I had a confrontation with those two fur freaks. Which obviously doesn't describe much since there are so many recently. But anyway, they seemed to have partially resurrected a dead friend of mine and left him comatose. As far as I can sense his soul has moved on. I honestly don't know how to remedy this situation. So putting aside my personal feelings, I need the opinion from an outside authority."
"As far as I know, the person just wakes up from them." Taki replied. "But from what Kyosuke said... He should be dead. I mean... He was killed by Tengu. Besides we may have a lot of money, but we don't have enough to keep him alive indefinitely."
"Like what?" Koori asked.

She shrugged. "Well, we could go gaming again, check out some stores; there's a new weapon shop that opened up not too far from here. Didn't really think too much before I asked..." Asuka mentally kicked herself, knowing she probably should have had some clue of just what to do, before asking.

Scott raised an eyebrow. "'A body can be repaired even from death' Frank told me once. 'But a soul is unique, non-tangible, and utterly uncontrollable.' If Cyrus brought back your friend's body it is completely possible for the soul to remain separate. Knowing your friend, I'd say he heard the command to return and told them to '******** off.' That's what I'd do."

Scott neared an old black van with a red stripe across the side. "An existance without a soul is a desecration, and should not exist. It will be an empty vessel, easily possessed by any passing spirit. If he is truly soulless, I would end his psudo-life. If his soul has come back after all, then rejoice in the unnatural act. Your companions are the most valuable asset you can ever be given." He reached the van and pulled the handle of the back. It opened and revealed a large compartment with plenty of furnishings. "You didn't know this. But I have had many moments when I did not trust in God to do the right thing. Tony2 died ten years ago. Frank brought him back. He had changed. I still do not regret my decision." He climbed in and shut the door after Kyosuke followed. "This place is secure."
Hikaru took the icepick and nodded. "I understand. Is Cam to stay with us then?"
Outside, Haru composed himself and smiled. "Is there anything that I can do to be with her?"

Loki shook his head with a slight frown "Unfortunately, there isn't, you are not the one to save her, apparently, due to your love for her, allowing you to attempt what the Counsel has planned would fail, which would result in the deaath of both you and Xiaedessa. Furthermore, it would then leave Medium open to take on another host, and most likely, your sister would be next. The Counsel has it already figred out, the plan will succeed, it just has too....for her sake" He looked t5o Cambyses, who was laughing and eating candy with Noodle "His innocence has stunted the development of hsi maturity. He is like a small child, yet still becoming a man. Please, do not let anything happen to him, he is very precious to me"
Cam looked over to Haru with a smile as he showed him his notepad
[Haruko! I finally figured out the z factor, and the rest of the equation was not so hard. Did I do it correctly?]
Cosmona smiled "Yes, that was what the Counsel had decided on, seeing as the two of you are quite a formidable force together, it would be best for him. Loki is not too happy about it, but Xiaeriene and her gang already live in the cabin, so Loki has his hands full. I appreciate your help, and I pray for your success with destroying Medium once and for all"

Haru gave a short laugh. "I would only hope that the Medium would be foolish enough to possess my sister." He looked up to Loki. "She would be instantly purified the moment she entered my sister's body." He looked at the paper. "I told you that already, Cam-kun."
Hikaru nodded and bowed. She ported away to prepare a Haru's room for their guest.

Cosmona stepped outside and looked to Loki "It is done, Hikaru has graciously taken up the Counsel's request to have Cambyses stay here. I know you aren't too hapy, Loki, but you must understand, it is top priority that he does not fall back into the hands of the Black Star Nation. And he would be much safer around these two. The other thing in question, well, she has agreed to do it. So it is only a matter of time then." She turned to Haruko "I leave it up to your sister what to tell you of our discussion. I thank you, I must be going now, I have a meeting with the Defense Bureau in an hour" she turned and got in her car, then sped off
Loki looked to her with a frown, then turned to aruko as she left "Well, I guess he's in your hands now, please, take good care of him. I must be heading back, lord only knows what sort of trouble Xiaeriene is stirring up at home right now" He turned and walked off, heading back to the cabin
Cam looked up as Loki left, and he waved goodbye before standing up. He showed Haruko his finished homework with a smile
[I finished! I think I did it right anyway, what did that lady want with Hikaru?]
