Once upon a time there was a girl You really wouldn't call her typical Had her own definition of cool She lived in her own world
"Shh, shh. It's okay. Don't worry." Raevyn shushed her gently. He held her close. "It's alright. You couldn't help that you were upset. It's understandable. I understand." He reassured her. She had her own style, her own rules She played along like it was usual Nobody really even knew her name To her life was one big game

Just face it. Mouse is amazing.
Ashriel took a deep breath, hugging Raevyn quietly. Her eyes looked at him for a moment as she thought, and she looked down again. "These...these types of moments happen too much...am...am I foolish?" She questioned quietly, looking down still. "Thank you, for putting up with me." She said softly, hugging him again and shutting her eyes as she did so.
See, that wasn't so bad, was it? Actually... (BE QUIET!)

Raevyn rolled his eyes. "The only time you are foolish is times like now, when you worry too much about things that don't matter." He told her with a teasing smile. He returned the hug gently. "Of course I put up with you Ash. I wouldn't have you any other way." Ashriel smiled as Raevyn spoke. "O-okay." She said, hiccuping. After a moment, she looked at him, her eyes meeting his. "This last time you pointed out a visible aura, Lucian was staring at you...you said they were called aura's, right? Well...do...do...do you think...I could actually do that on purpose?" She asked, her fingers softly laying on his shoulder.

Raevyn covered her hand with his own lightly. "I think so. I've never found anything that can be done subconsciously that can't be done consciously. It's a part of you. It's just a matter of finding the trigger and how to control it." He said confidently. He seemed sure of his answer. Ashriel grinned, thinking for a moment. "Do you think...I want to try..." She stumbled over her words as a light knock came on the door. It was rapid, and there was no accompanying phone call. Another, harsher knock joined it, and a young male voice yelled through the door. "Hey, open up! Lix wants to see you!" Ash widened her eyes. "I think...that is Alex...he must owe Lix something...or something."

Raevyn sighed but laughed. "We'll try later." He promised Ashriel, kissing her lightly. He shifted to so they could both stand up. Gracefully, he crossed the room and opened the door. He moved aside so Ashriel could talk with them. She had her own style, her own rules She played along like it was usual Nobody really even knew her name To her life was one big game

Ashriel grinned as Raevyn walked to the door. Alex gazed back at his sister after Raevyn opened the door. "There you go, Lix." He said, stepping back.
[-You still taking Lix? And I hope that Alex was her twin...I don't remember which was which now.-]

((Sure. I just wasn't sure if you had anything planned.))
Lixini squealed happy, darting through the doorway to hug Ashriel. "I was so worried about you!" She pulled back, smiling. "You okay? You look happier." Raevyn just shook his head, smiling. He stood to the side, watching the girls. She had her own style, her own rules She played along like it was usual Nobody really even knew her name To her life was one big game

Alex moved quietly through the doorway, muttering something to himself. He appeared to be glaring at his twin as he leaned against the wall, obviously not wanting to be there. "How'd you get Alex to get you here, anyway?" Ashriel said, hugging Lixini back. "I'm fine. Really."

Lixini giggled, putting a finger to her lips. "Shh. That's my secret. I know how to convince him of just about anything." She said playfully. "I'm just glad to see you're alright." Raevyn looked to Alex. "So how DID she convince you to do this?" She had her own style, her own rules She played along like it was usual Nobody really even knew her name To her life was one big game

Ashriel laughed at Lixini easily. "Alright. Yeah, of course I am. Why wouldn't I be?" She giggled, ignoring the boys. Alex took a deep breath as he stood there. "She found my real report card. Let's just say the job that I told my parents I got isn't a job." He said calmly, thankful that his parents had held him back a while back.

Raevyn snorted. "And you hadn't burned it, why?" He asked sarcastically. "Don't leave things laying around if you don't want them found." Lixini shrugged easily. "Well, with everything that was going on, I just wanted to be sure." She gave Ashriel a smile. "I know, I worry. But you love me anyways." Alex sighed. "You really think I had it just lying around? I had it hidden in my desk drawer with a false parent signature on it. She was digging for...well, she claims it was a hair tie, but I'm guessing it was money." He told Raevyn, still glaring at Lixini. Ashriel smiled at Lixini. "Well...maybe when Jen gets back we can have a girl's day out again. Or maybe before that. I don't know..." She didn't even glance to Raevyn when she said before that as a possibility although she knew he would freak. In fact, she was tempted to make plans with Lixini then and there just to get a day with just Lixini.

Raevyn just shook his head. "Good going. Now she's got you on the ropes." His eyes widened and his words broke off when he heard Ashriel's idea. Oh Gods no....Anything but that. Lixini squealed in delight. "We should! We could have so much fun! We could watch movies, and do our nails, and do each others hair....." She rambled on, making Raevyn wince.
