"Yeah, because free food makes everyone happy," Sammy sighed, leaning her head back. Up to this time she had found no way to be killed without commiting suicide, which she would nnot resort to. "So, are we just gonna wing it in Goldenrod?" She asked, staring up at the ceiling.

The train's captain announced on the intercom "Attention passengers, we're experiencing some technical difficulties, SOMEBODY HE-" the announcer was suddenly cut off by a mysterious cord cut.

This caught Ginji's attention, the captain had to be in trouble. "Team, looks like there's no such thing as a day off." he sighed as he jumped from his seat.

Sammy grinned darkly. Perhaps this would be her chance! "So much for the safest thing ever, huh?" She teased, following everyone. Squirt shook his head, slapping Sammy on the neck.

Sammy growled. "I'm not going to die until I've defeaten you!" She laughed, lunging at a peon. It was said as a promise, not a battle cry.

"You do know we could have just battled atop the train right?" Ginji asked hypothetically as he fiddled with a Pokeball of his own invention. Should he use it? Hell yes.

"Where's the fun in that? The Simpsons already did it." The Admin growled as he sent out his first Pokemon, an Arbok.

Ginji smiled again as he tossed one Pokeball that exploded into 15 different Pokeballs. 9 Combee and 6 Vespiquen appeared to literally bum rush the Admin of Rocket. "You mess with me, you mess with everything I stand for. I won't let you harm those innocents on the train." Ginji yelled as Arbok looked at the giant Combee wall.

Then it sprung using a Gunk Shot, seemingly doing nothing to the wall as Vespiquen used Heal Order on the falling Combee. The Combee bum rushed Arbok with a Bug Bite, successfully hitting and knocking the Arbok out.

Next up were 2 Weezings on the Admin's side. Vespiquen used Defense Order to fortify the defenses of the Hive whereas one Weezing used Protect as the other one Exploded in a cloud of toxic sludge. The Hive took minimal damage as the protect wore off on Weezing and they rushed it with a Gust, Bug Bite combo with some help from Vespiquen's Attack Order.

The Admin returned his 3 Pokemon as Ginji recalled his 15. Granted it was a bit unfair, but they were dealing with criminals here, not the Sunday Newspaper man. He smiled as he watched the other battles, the Team was growing stronger together. And it was such a nice day for battling.

Sammy got out her first pokemon as she approached the peon. The peon chuckled darkly, releasing a Nidorina. “All right, then,” Sammy challenged, also letting out a chuckle. “Blitzen!” She called, releasing her Cyndaquil. Right when he appeared, Blitzen let out a blast of embers at the foe. Nidorina put her head down, the cinders hurting the top of her scalp. The Nidorina countered by lunging and biting Blitzen’s arm. He yelped a bit, feeling the pain go through him. “You okay?” Sammy asked quickly. He nodded, using Flame Wheel. The fiery wheel spun around Nidorina, causing massive damage to her skin. When the wheel was gone, she came at Blitzen with her foot sticking out; it was a Double Kick attack! It hit both times, leaving Blitzen gasping for breath on the ground. He didn’t look too good, but then again, neither did Nidorina. “Finish this with Swift!” Sammy called out to her pokemon. The yellow stars flung themselves from Blitzen and at Nidorina, pounding her flank and fainting her. Both sides returned their pokemon, and Sammy said, “Good job, Blitzen!” It was time for the next pokemon.

The peon released a Pichu, the cute baby pokemon wagging its tail. Sammy threw a pokeball into the air, shouting, “Go, Prancer~” The Eevee appeared, also wagging her tail. “Thundershock!” The peon yowled into the air. Pichu released a small bolt of energy that struck Prancer, making her stumble backwards a bit. Prancer whipped its tail around, lowering Pichu’s defense. Pichu used another Thunderbolt—They didn’t do as much damage to Prancer as they should’ve. Prancer bounded forward, biting Pichu hard. It yelped as it fell backwards, attempting to escape the jaws. It quickly used Shock wave, which sent Prancer sprawling on the ground. She quickly got up and tackled Pichu, finally fainting it. “Return; awesome!” she praised her pokemon, and the next pokemon were introduced.

Sammy confidently released Vixen, who spread his wings and stretched when he was out of his pokeball. The peon released a cute little Budew. “Well, this should be easy…” Sammy muttered, nodding to Vixen; he knew what to do. He raced into the sky, flapping his wings and unleashing the wind onto Budew. The little pokemon staggered backwards; the attack was greatly effective! Budew countered by absorbing a tiny amount of Vixen’s health, and adding it to its own. Vixen reacted sourly, releasing a strong gust that nearly blew the pokemon away. It hung on by a tiny bit, absorbing a bit more of Vixen’s energy. Vixen, tired of this, used tackle and fainted the Budew. “Alright!” Sammy praised her pokemon, returning him to rest. The peon ran off, and Sammy returned to the group.

"Well that was ridiculous..." Jack muttered. "Hopefully nothing else happens." He sighed and sat back in his seat.

"Evolution approved." Ginji smiled as the train continued on its way, arriving at Goldenrod in the middle of the festival. A shadowy figure was seen at the entrance to the station, but he quickly disappeared when he saw Aqua approach.

"Okay guys, this place has everything from fortune telling booths to dangerous roller coaster rides." Ginji stated as he passed out maps to everyone. "Have a ball." he smiled as he looked around, trying to decide which way to go first.
