They landed in HQ within minutes due to a strong tail wind and Star's supreme speed abilities. "Off to the lab." he smiled gently as he helped Maddy off of Star.

Maddy recalled Star and disappeared with Ginji in a burst of purple light. They reappeared in the lab in the same manner. "Oh yay we're alone!" Maddy sat down on a nearby table and peered at Ginji, a look of contentment on her face.

"This won't hurt a bit." Ginji smiled as he grabbed a needle with an IV attached to it. Sticking it into Maddy's left arm and helping her lay on her stomach for the minor operation. It was best she was knocked out now rather then feel the full pain of the claws.

Maddy's eyes slowly closed as she went under. Her mind drifted off into a nice, peaceful dream away from all worries of real life.

Ginji kissed her sweetly as he began to go to work, it was relatively simple. Clean the wound, administer the antidote, unbreak the rib. Easy. "Then why are my hands shaking?" he muttered.

Suddenly, Maddy's dream darkened. Visions of fire, smoke and blood filled her mind. There was a glint of claws and then a searing pain in her back. She stirred uneasily in her sleep, deeply troubled by her memories of past events.

Sammy awoke, her eyes gloomy. Last night her dream had been about dying, and living in the afterlife... Why did the sweet fantasy have to end? She sighed, sitting up. She would not commit suicide, so she just had to find someone to kill her.... But she had already asked Mr. Ginji if he would, and she supposed he now thought she was crazy or emo. She looked down at the ground; maybe her clone would kill her?

Kai walked into the base yawning, he sat down on a couch, eating cheetos.

"We need a pick me up." Ginji commented as he walked up from the lab, Maddy was doing very well and was now fully recovered for no explainable reason other than true love prevailed. "There's a festival in Goldenrod City today, that sounds like fun."

Jack grunted. "Goldenrod.....Can we take cable car when we get there?" Jack asked. He'd never been on a cable car.

Sammy jumped up enthusiastically. "A festival?! I haven't been to one of those since I was a little kid!" she exclaimed with glee. "Pleeeease take me! I'll be good; I promise! PLEASE!" She was using her puppy-dog face now, as if she wouldn't be aloud to go.
