Seph shook his head, "No. I felt them feeling. They never said a word to me, but they definately helped us find you." He looked back out at the trees as well, another wind-whistle and another breeze.

The rest of the world seemed concentrated around Neko's office. Nyl, finished with her tea, jumped down from the roof and put the empty mug in the sink, then headed back for said office, to see what was going on.

Anything that needs helping, really. It can give a person the calmness needed to write a gorgeous sonnet, and the chaos needed to make someone aware of their own mortality.

Nyl knocked lightly on Neko's door. She hoped she wasn't disturbing anything.

Seph sat on the roof, a feeling of abandonment overcoming him. He shook his head some. Alright, I think I get it. He sighed, pushing anger from his mind as he gazed up at the stars. He began counting, one-by-one, pointing to each, from the top of his field of vision to the bottom.

She decided to go try the pad for herself. She got over to it, and realized he'd never actually explained how to use the pad. So she stood on it looking for a button like on an elevator or something.
So how do I get to the ground floor? she thought. As soon as her thought was complete, the pad starting moving and she gave out a frightened squeak as it began it's decent.
I wonder what I did.
