Maddy teleported into HQ, purple light filling the room. She sat down on the couch and took out some notes. She was back to working on her explosives. She etched away at the paper with a pencil that desperately needed to be sharpened. She set the pencil down and sighed. "So bored..."

"Hi Maddy. How are you?" Jack asked, his voice a little muffled from his face being buried in couch.

"Anyone want to go on a mission?!" Ginji said intently as he walked into HQ. There wasn't anything that needed to be done, but at least it would be fun. Right?

Sammy walked in, yawning. "I'm game," she responded to Mr. Ginji's question. She looked around with a blank face, seeing Ms. Maddy and Jack. "Hey," she greeted.

Mady jumped to her feet and leapt into Ginji's arms the moment she saw him. "Ginjiiiii! Yes! Let's go somewhere!"

"Sure sure. Good to see you Sammy. Feeling better?" Ginji asked as he hugged Maddy and picked up his book, still glowing red from Cody's message. He hadn't noticed it, but it seemed a bit important now. Silently he opened his book and read the message.
"Hm..." the boy thought for a short while as he talked to himself in his head. "Anyone know where Cody was last staying?" he thought. "Or do you guys even want him back?"

Sammy grimaced at Mr. Ginji's statement. That was the one person she didn't want to think of at this time. "Lavaridge," she stated bluntly. She walked towards the teleporter, smiling. "Where to?" She asked, cocking her head to the side.

"Well...assuming that we like Cody, as he is a friend of ours, and we would like to get him back, we should go to Lavaridge." Ginji smiled sweetly. "Unless he still needs some time to cool off, then we should go to the completely opposite place on the world, which would be..." he did some calculations in the air. "Somewhere around Viridian City."

Maddy stayed near Ginji. "Speaking of cooling off, let's go somewhere cold!" She took the time to take her TADS out and read the unread message from Cody. "Oh... I must've missed something important?"

Sammy looked down at the ground, sighing. "Whatever," she muttered. She didn't care if Cody came back; she just wouldn't talk to him. Of course, it was her fault, but... She continued to look at the ground, a somber look on her face.

"I hear it's lovely up in Blackthorn City this time of year." Ginji smiled as he grabbed his bag. They'd get Cody when he cooled off enough to man up and apologize to Sammy.

Sammy sighed with relief. She knew she was precrastinating, but it didn't matter. "So, Ms. Maddy, how've you been?" She asked, keeping her vow to know as much as possible about her friends and "family".

"Oh, I've been good. Lots of pain but that's nothing." Maddy said to Sammy. "Now let's go!" Maddy suddenly disappeared and reappeared on the beach. She let Star out of her Pokéball and watched the lively Staraptor fly circles for a bit, the powerful gusts from her wings stirring up the sand.

Ginji laughed. "Come on Sammy, it'll be fun." he said as he too disappeared through a teleporter, sometimes regular teleporting was boring, he called out Dragonite and the two took off into the sky after Maddy.
