Satoshi glanced over at Mari "Takara I think is around a similar rank to me. Maybe a little higher or lower but i sensed much chakra coming from her" he added to Alpha's explanation.
"Also a complete liar in my opinion" Hayate added while on the subject of the ninja "Maybe she has similar abilities to Taiki"
Felina hugged Oassu back tightly "You don't need to pretend you were scared for my sake" she told him and released him from the hug. Cid hopped onto his head from Felina's shoulder.

Itaka patted Seph on the shoulder "Don't worry Seph you smell fine, I think it's just that Hebal's nose picks up different kinda scents than normal" he reassured her.
Zadina chirped up "Thats right no smellyness for you! You just smell of homones, whatever they are" he added quietly.
Oassu looked up at Cid "No its true lotsa kids are scared of the dark you know? I was scared too." he patted Cid "If it helps you can close your eyes and I'll lead you through. It used to help me" he said cheerfully.
Mari pondered "A similar rank to you...well then I figure she's probably stronger than Taiki since he died easily enough" she told Hayate

Seph shrugged "No no I am hardly smelling my best. I'll still have one later. As for hormones, those are little chemicals in your body to tell you to do stuff. It's hormones that make you want to run away when in trouble" she added carefully choosing her words so that Zadina could understand.
"Umm. Yea what Seph said" Hebal muttered slightly disappointed that she didn't get to explain. "And Itaka is right we all smell pretty bad its not just you Seph."
Alpha sighed "Taiki got cocky. But she must be tough to be a similar rank to you. She seems to have a lot of authority here too"

"Thanks for that. It's nice to know we all smell" Hayate told Hebal sarcastically. He nodded at Mari "He didn't seem too strong and Satoshi made light wrk of him"
Satoshi shook her head "Taiki was a talented ninja. He just didn't have the experience required to use his abilities. Also its not all about who has the stronger jutsu, its about surprising and outsmarting the enemy" she lectured.
Felina blushed even more than before "Ok I suppose I'll give it a try" she whispered so that the others couldn't hear her. She closed her eyes and held Oassu's hand great now I feel like a little kid

Zadina bit his lip before scampering up to Hebal "Does that mean Seph is the most afraid?" he asked her.
Itaka sighed "I can't believe we're having a conversation about how much we all stink" he shook his head "I'm in the shower after you" he sighed telling Seph.
Oassu leaned in close and whispered "Don't worry Felina in this darkness no one can tell plus isn't it helping?"
Mari nodded "You reckon this Takari is very strong then?"

Hebal giggled "No silly. That was just an example. Hormones are all over your body and get produced for all sorts of things. They appear when your agressive or you see someone you really like or simply when you are running low on energy"
Seph chuckled "What did you expect. We haven't had a shower in the past 24 hours, we have been doing a lot of exercise and have been splattered with blood. We're all going to smell after that"
Alpha hesitated before answering Mari's question "She could be for all we know. But we shall soon find out. Hopefully she will be since I like a challenge"

Hayate sighed "I guess Seph is right. We havent had a shower for a while. But not to worry." he cast a spell upon himself causing his body to glow red for half a second "Now I don't smell of anything." he grinned.
Felina grinned "It's helping a little." she admitted keeping her eyes closed "Just make sure Cid doesn't misbehave."
Satoshi shrugged "She could be but she could also totally suck. But to be on the safe side you should always assume a ninja is strong regardless of what other evidence shows"

Itaka glared at Hayate "Stupid red mage" he muttered "I ain't never heard of no cleanliness spell."
Zadina giggled "I wonder why Seph's giving off so many then" he said glancing back at them.
Mari frowned "Couldn't you make the assumption a ninja is weak based on his or her actions and performance."
Oassu cuddled Felina "Cid is right here on my hat" he said patting a quivering Cid. "So long as he doesn't go blowing holes in the walls I think we'll be fine. How much mischief can a rabbit get into anyway" he laughed.

"Lucky for some" Seph grumbled "You could at least clean us up too you know" she criticised Hayate.
Hebal also glanced back at Seph "From what I hear she is going through some changes at the moment, that is bound to be messing with her system somewhere" she whispered to Zadina.
Alpha stretched his arms in front of her "We haven't seen any performance to make an assumption" he pointed out.

Hayate sighed "It's not a cleanliness spell, its a masking one. The smell is still there, you just can't sense it. But if it bothers you that much..." he repeated the spell on Seph and Itaka.
"What he said" Satoshi answered bluntly placing her hand on the wall "Also ranks can be misleading. Even the lowest ranking ninja can outwit the stronger ones if they get careless"
Felina let out a sigh of relief "Good. Hes just a baby so I worry about him. But with an attack like the one before who knows what he will be like when he grows up."

Oassu plucked Cid off his head and held him "Your doing a good job with this baby then, he's getting pretty heavy he'll be grown up before we know it" he smiled
Mari smiled "Sounds like Ninja can be a little careless with their ranks if such things can happen clearly something is wrong."
Itaka lifted his armpit and had a sniff, then did the same with Seph's "Look's like it worked nice job Hayate, still getting that shower but now we can kick a** and smell fresh!" he grinned.
Zadina looked at Seph "Oh well maybe she's going through that thing Eilthana once told me about" he thought for a moment "Something called Poo Berty, thats supposed to have lotsa changes right?"

Seph immediately lowered her arm and gently poked Itaka in the chest "Who said you could go sniffing other peoples armpits. Thats just silly" she sniffed the air around her "Still it worked really well. Thanks Hayate"
Hebal blushed "No I didn't mean that sort of change. I meant ability wise but forget it" she said quickly.
Alpha couldn't help but laugh at Zadina's comment "The only one here that still needs to go through that is you. Remember that human form Seph showed you? That was what she looked like before she went through it" he grinned and patted his shoulder.

Satoshi took her hand off the wall and rumaged through her bag for a bottle of water "It's just the requirements to reach certain ranks are very specific. Becuase of that some of the more talented ninjas fail to move up the ranks"
"No probrem" Hayate answered casually. He repeated the same spell on the rest of the group "Now no more smelly talk."
Felina felt around for Cid with one of her hands. She eventually managed to find his ears and stroke them "He is finally getting potty trained too." she mentioned to Oassu "You've been a big help with that"

Oassu grinned "Well my hat is one of his favourite perching spots it's an important thing to teach him." he said.
Zadina pondered and bit his lip "So I'm going to turn into a demon when I reach Poo Berty?!" he asked worryingly.
Itaka laughed "Sometimes I'm a silly kinda guy, your stink must be goin to my head" he said shaking his head "But seriously Hayates right this stink talk is making me paranoid."
"Hmm can't be too talented if they can't figure out the specifications" Mari said coldly.

Seph raised her eyebrow "Excuses. You could have made a realistic one at least. But fine we'll change the subject"
Alpha smacked his forehead "No but you will have other changes. You'll get real tall and your voice will go lower. You will even start liking girls" he added with a wink.
"What kind of specifications? Are they hard to meet?" Hebal asked out of curiosity
