Who said I was going to have multiple AVs installed? I'm sticking with Kaspersky. It's a solid program, I don't need to throw caution to the wind and try yet another piece of horseshit.

Ms. Selina Kyle Who said I was going to have multiple AVs installed? I'm sticking with Kaspersky. It's a solid program, I don't need to throw caution to the wind and try yet another piece of horseshit. Good. Most people I've dealt with install as many as possible in a vain attempt at forcing the computer to protect them from being deliberately stupid. It never works.

Sounds like tomfoolery to me. The most I can say is I've had an anti-virus installed and a ghost program, and they're not exactly related in any way shape or form. So far the inability of UPS to deliver stuff today had caused me to not be able to try breaking into my own computer until Monday. At which point I am going to corpse this virus up.

Speaking of computers...I'm gonna try my hand at building a desktop. I'm browsing New Egg for parts and picked my processor to start with...but looking at the motherboards is freaking me out. There are bad reviews on everyone I looked at! gonk

Also, I just finished the first scarf I made from the book Brian got me for Christmas. I started it ON christmas and just now finished it. I'm already sitting here finding all the flaws. xd I think it's the most complicated scarf I've ever made. Now I'm starting on mittens for mom. She asked me the other day if I started so I guess I'd better get on it! I just thought I'd share the finished pics of the scarf. It's super warm and thick. Perfect for this cold weather we've been having. Picture 1Picture 2Picture 3

So.. satellite tv is busted. It was blinking out here and there all during the news this morning and during Price is Right, it totally went out on me. Brian came home to check it out. We did the usual things that fix the signal,(pointing the dish, changing the transponders, blah blah) and still nothing. Dish isn't broken. Everything is connected, even the back of the TV. Of course, in the process of checking that, Brian tipped the shelf over on the entertainment center and sent 30+ DVD's crashing to the ground in a big jumbled pile of plastic boxes. gonk
So now we either have to switch to Dish Network and let them come install a nice, new box and dish OR call Directv and wrestle with them over "repair fees". Sending out technician costs money and I know damn well whatever is wrong with this thing is not our fault. We haven't done a thing to it to cause it to spazz and I am NOT paying for new equipment. We've been their customer for years, you'd think they could send us a new box if that's what the issue is.
We've had direct for 9 or ten years and we've had the same receiver box for that long. I have no TV now and I'm rather annoyed.

Well I'm kinda in freak out mode. I had a thank you June 2004 letter and I cant find it on any of my accounts. I checked my store and It says I haven't sold nearly enough for me to have sold that letter. I was going to sell it too after having it for so long. Not quite sure what to do. I've check all my mules and everything.
