Hi, I am new to the guild and just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I have a 7 1/2 month old daughter, that is my life and joy. Right now she is asleep in her stroller and waiting for her daddy to return from class in a couple of hours. I am not sure what else to say if you have questions ask smile
Oh I love all the baby pictures that I have seen throughout the fourms they are so adorable and sweet. smile Congraduations on everybodies little ones smile

Welcome Ladydark! I hope you enjoy it here. We have a bunch of great people here.
I made reservations last night to fly to Tennessee for my mom's spring break. (She's a school technology specialist so she gets the school system breaks.) Then my mom, sister, my parents' exchange student, Zoe, and I will be driving to Florida. (My grandpa has a house down there that is empty most of the time so the gas money is the only real expense.) Anyway, I'm nervous about this because not only will it be my first time to travel by myself with Zoe, it'll also be my first time to change planes on my own. The other times I've flown by myself I've had direct flights.

Don't worry. When D and I flew up here by ourselves we were helped by flight attendants. 3nodding From my experience they tend to be really friendly to woman who are flying alone with a baby.

Sounds like fun Ritz. Yeah traveling with a little one on your own is a bit tricky. If you feel really nervous about the plane change you can prearrange for asistantce from the gate. Someone will meet you and help you get to your next flight. Also may I suggest a back instead of a suitcase for your carry on. That way your hands will be free, and you can fit it under the seat in front of you so no wrestling with over head compartments. I have flown several times by myself with Sascha and I've found most poeple are really helpful anf more than willing to lend a hand.
