* Ali threw Nat a glare, he had sugar coated the stories of his past for her, Loki however knew the cold harsh truth and even she knew only half of it. Hadn't he been dumped like that, he could've had a happy childhood, teenage years and such up to the point he got the castle and city.*Not for me.

Loki tooka sept back to see Ali's mother come up infront of him and look at him with clear eyes. She hugged her son and back away. "I know ye can never forgive me for what I did, right mind or not. Can never forget, but can we be civil? can you try? I hurt everytime I think about it, it wasnt right.. but ye cant undo the past. I would change it if I could, but if I wasnt so you might have never been hwere you are now."

Living on the street, Civil and good manners wasn't something I learned along the way. Do I believe you regret it?, Yeah. Can we change the Past?, no. Can I forgive you?, I don't know. The things I've seen, the things I've been forced to do, the things I've heard and chosen to do, they all weight against you and frankly, I'm not sure if it's heavier then you are yet on that scale.* Ali narrowed his eyes even more at his mom, hell his knees trembled and his fists were clenched to the point where his fingernails dug into his flesh, causing him to bleed. This was infact killing him, it was easier to just regard her as insane and wanting to lob his head off rather then a sane person now standing before him with remorse.* I'm...happy you're sane though now.

Loki wrapped her arms around Ali giving him a look full of love and understanding. She nodded ot his mother who was silently crying but nodding her head. "Come around if you ever want sometime." She Didnt know what else to say. "Thank you, I am glad to see you doing well." it was obvious she wanted to make right and coddle her son and make him better , but it was Loki's job to do now. Loki nodded her head and walked Ali outside where she grabbed Nat, "Sorry about eating your mother Ali's mom."

* As soon as Ali were outside, his pace quickened down from the porch and halfways across the yard before he stopped, rubbing his forhead with his right hand. Then taking a deep breath, he knew his mom was probably watching from the window. And strangely a part didn't want him to show just how much he was hurting, out of fear that she might do something stupid. He'd break down once he was out of sight from the house.*

It had been quite some time since Ziven had visited Ali at his home. There was merit for doing so this day, though she did not let on to her intentions. Appearing just outside of the city, as she knew she had to, she wandered calmly, giving peaceful greetings towards anyone she passed along the way. Once at his door, she began to wander in, still acting most respectfully towards others. Though she had full access to most anywhere in the city, she still wanted to be respectful and presentable when in town. Coming to the room where everyone indicated Ali would be, she made her way inside, hoping to find him in good spirits.

* Ali stood by his large window, gazing down on the city below. Buzzling with life, cars driving to their owners destination, Children and adults playing in the many parks, Soldiers patroling and maintaining order, Ships docking at the harbor and unloading as well as uploading their cargo. It was a great sight and to think that only 15 years ago the place had looked like it was run by a king and his knights. That said, Ali still had the defensive walls surrounding the city aswell as various other defensive upgrades that would ensure the full safety of the city.
With a smirk Ali raised his wineglass and took a sip of the Merlot wine he had found in the Castle kitchen earlier.* Been some time since you visited me here now.

She smiled and gave a traditional elven greeting gesture to show her respect for him. "Indeed it has, neither of us has had much need for the other. I would wager that both of us have had slightly less .. shall we say .. involved lives for a long while there. I was trying to conceal the fact that I had not seen my husband in years while pursuing personal quests of my own. Clearly you have been busy here .." she said looking out the window, gazing with a smile upon the new view of the city.

Yes, for the past couple of years All I've done is upgrade and maintain a good amount of stability with the city, progressed in several areas, Raised a child, trained myself so your husband won't find me a pushover and yet still I manage to satisfy my wife both emotional and physical..maybe more so physical then emotional. * Ali snickered a little as he turned towards her, still the well mannered lady after all these years.* I am assuming Yawg is seeking to increase his power, thus being away fromyou for such a long time. Still...

She smiled as he responded. Though with his final words, her face shown a twang of pain for but a moment before looking to him again with the same serene smile. "Aye, that summarizes rather well." she said softly. Wandering over to him, she sat in the chair nearest to him. Her calm blue eyes looked to him for a moment in silent observation before she spoke again. "Have you ever reached a point where you believe there is little or nothing remaining to learn? No place for personal growth?"

Several times.*Ali narrowed his eyes at her, moving over to his desk and taking seat behind it. Placing the wine glass gently down.* But eventually I do learn something more and I get the desire to defeat yet another obstacle that presents itself.

"Mmm.." was her only response for the moment. Ziven sighed softly and dismissed her cloak finally, dressed in her usual attire comprised of mostly blue. She was still as fit and shapely as ever, though she still did not flaunt or try to show anything more than she wanted to. A graceful lady, through and through. She seemed a bit lost in thought, though in a way that spoke volumes to the feelings in her heart. She was looking for company. She wanted to listen. "And how is your daughter? Off to university I would assume?"

Due to her high IQ, she was accepted into a university when she was young, she's working as a scientist now and even has her own apartment.* Ali smirked a little, of course he made sure Natalie was under observation just incase something happened.* For some reason women in my life are smarter then me.

"As some would say, it is in the genes. Your wife is highly intelligent in ways you are not and vice verca. It is only logical that your daughter would be brilliant, in my opinion." she said with a bright smile. She knew the joy of learning and being able to contribute meaningful conversation, she believed Natalie would feel the same, knowing her as well as she had.

I doubt my genes has gone in that department, physical strenght perhaps my not intelligence.* Ali snickered a little to himself, stopping abruptly as he heard a knock on the door and two Asian guys in fancy excotic suits walked into the room. The bulges beneath their left arm indicated they were armed, this causing Ali to move his right hand slowly under his desk and grab onto the sawed-off shotgun he had attached underneath. The next person that walked inside caused Ali to let go of the weapon, stand abruptly up from his seat and bow for perhaps the first time since he was 18 years old. The old man who had entered seemed to straighten himself up a little more, smiling a little as Ali shifted to the few Japanese phrases he had learned and used back in the days while still standing in a bow. Despite the old man knowing English perfectly well.* Konbanwa Oyabun, Ogenki desu ka?
