((I'm so sorry I haven't been able to post, and I have bad news in that I'm going away for two weeks. I will try my very best to reply whilst away, but interwebs will be sparse. If needs must, Ninja is allowed to move my characters about ))

Teaser looked about the dining hall, settling on the fidgety Random for a moment before returning her gaze to Alice. "I'm not quite sure, in truth. I believe there is to be a shift in the nobility, and the King is going to be a judge in the matter." She tilted her head in indication of humor. "I'm of the belief that it's never a party if politics are involved."

((Bye Idril! You will be missed. But sadly I have a similar problem. I am going away to freshman orientation which lasts three days, starting tuesday through thursday. And next saturday I am leaving for a week on a missions trip. Whilst I will have internet while at Expo (freshman orientation) I will not on the missions trip. So besides the fact that Idril probably won't post so I won't have much to post anyway... I won't be able to post... Wait... that last statement didn't make much sense. Anyway I will do my best to do what I can for the next week.))

Rhoule was satisfied with her simple replies. Really he had no reason not to be. He figured that it would ruin her mood or apatite if he pushed further and there was no way that he wanted that. The King wanted the pleasure of her company and to enjoy a meal himself. He didn’t know much about the troubles that were happening else well. That the old King of Hearts now laid dead and that Mary was the one that killed him. Nor did he really much care. The old man had given his rule over to the other female. As long as she lived, to him not much had changed. Though he would probably again care in the morning. Things of this nature shouldn’t be happening under his roof with out his permission. “To super then,” he said not having a care in the world leading his beautiful companion towards the Dinner Hall.

Upon entering, he saw that many were already seated and prepared for the meal. This pleased the king greatly who took his ’date’ to her seat. “Wonderful I hate waiting,” he said before taking his own. “Now, are we missing anyone?” he said looking over the group before frowning… “Where is the old man…” His mood was changing and fast. Though instead of looking angry. The young king looked like he was about to cry.

((POooosssttt hope its an alright one. Also, DorMice.. In Random's pocket or with Tass still?))

"I'm afraid the captain tried to kill me," Mary sighed, leaning back as a servant poured wine into her glass. A lovely red Sangiovese, sweet and rich, perfect for the Blood Queen. "Such a shame too, I'd sought to become business partners."

Mary looked at the woman beside her cousin and gave a friendly smile. Completely interested in the topic. "You've yet to introduce your companion cousin. Who's captured the heart of my dear family?" She'd make a suitable enough queen, and their children would be quite stunning.

((Will post Erick in time. on my way out.))

(I certainly don't mind the Mice being with Random. Keeps things in the realm of Chaos, and there's plenty of things in his pockets to keep them amused ; ) Join the festivities, it looks like we're about to play Clue)

Sinope just smiled mostly to her old ’friend’ response to her request. But she still worried for him. The King never took kindly to those that were in the slightest way disloyal to him. Her arms didn’t move from her closest reminder of the olden days. Oh how she missed being next to the king, playing with him, and making up stories to the guards that were just minions to her old master. Those were easier days and simpler days. Perhaps this was why she was only to happy to whisper to him so the others wouldn’t hear. “But if it does come down to you being taken to that awful place or being killed. It would please me if you were to take my life instead.” The words weren’t spoken out of any sort of sadness or even self sacrificing. In fact the girl seemed only to glad to offer her death to him to take.
Myrine was struggling keeping herself awake. She had nodded to the card that her cousin had given a name to. “I think I shall hide,” she started but a yawn made her pause. Stretching her hands over her head she sighed sleepily. Blinking at the sudden commotion of everyone moving around. Blinking she saw that Random and Jeanie were leaving. “I will hide there,” she said before grabbing onto one of Random’s pocket. Swiftly changing in to her small white mouse form she swung herself into the pocket and swiftly fell asleep.
It was then that Sinope took herself from the man. Looking about the now empty room she blinked a couple of times. “Where did everyone go?” she asked looking up to Tass. They were the last two left. Even Myrine had forgotten to make sure that she had made it into the pocket as well. Sighing a little bit the smaller of the cousins frowned. “Forgotten again,” she pouted crossing her arms, her tail falling to the ground. A loud ding was made against the ground, probably loud enough for any passing guards to hear.
Myrine slept until she felt the man carrying her hugging his chair. “Chair?” she asked in a small voice before climbing up the odds and ends that the pocket seemed to contain. Her red eyes had yet to grow used to the lighting but soon enough her small head stuck out. And to her delight and horror they were near a lavish table full of food. It looked so yummy! But still she knew that only one table would be dressed so. And the king’s voice carried to where she was seated. “Oh stinky cheese!” she grumbled looking up to the now slightly fidgeting Random. Was it safe to come out now or even asked that some food be passed to her.

((Decided that perhaps splitting them would be best for now? IDK XD Just incase Tass still wanted to be used. If not then I'll will fix it or some how magically the girl will be placed in Random's pocket XD))

Random looked down slightly to see the little red eyes looking back up to him. "Not like cheese?" he whispered. He seemed to recall she was playing hide and seek with the King along with Sinope, and he wasn't about to let the cat out of the bag, so to speak. "Jeanie and I play game. Have to act like everyone else." His brow furrowed. "Not sure how to play. Involves sitting down and doing things I not do." It had never occurred to him that talking to a mouse that talked back was not exactly 'normal' behavior. He picked up a utensil and admired it. "Spoon." Then he glanced back down, resisting the urge to pocket the object. "Hungry?" he asked Myrine sweetly.

White saw the two pass into the palace and on to Dinner from his rooftop perch. He gripped his cane a little tighter in frustration. Getting to Anna was becoming increasingly difficult. He took one deep breath and slipped his way back into the palace. He dashed to the kitchen to tell them to begin the dinner.

((Cuddly, remember you control the servants, so bring out the food of your choosing or have a fun dramatic "You brought out the wrong food!" dilemma. Up to you.))

Gale held his tongue against Mary. Her first statement left out many facts, but he let it slide. Her question was one that he had wondered too and he patiently awaited the response to that.

((Absolutely he does. Tass is too fun to let go too easily.))

Tass felt the soft warm air slip over his ear, from Sinope's mouth as her words pulled his heart strings. He had to fight the maelstrom of emotions and reactions that flooded him. Between kissing her, feeling a little turned on, blushing, and caught off guard, he didn't notice everyone vanish. His eyes distant as he tried to regain himself. When he recovered, he figured the others had hidden for the game. Then he heard the loud clang as her tail hit the floor from depression. He heard the rustle of armor as two guards came down the side of the hall leading to the dining room. "Sinope, you weren't forgotten, they're just hiding. Come on, let's go this way to look for them," he stated softly as he swept her up into a carriage hold, much llike a groom to his wife after a wedding, and carried her towards the other side. They needed to move, quickly.

Purple eyes quickly shifted towards his cousin. Her words didn’t really come as much of a shock to him. When wasn’t the old geezer trying to kill something? he had thought with a sigh. As he watched the red liquid being poured into her glass. That stuff was very dull to him. He gave a small glare to the one pouring the drink signaling that if it was poured out for him, there wouldn’t be a happy king. His gaze shifted back to the ’bloody queen’ if she indeed could call herself that. He still was not sure about that whole business, but his thoughts didn’t linger on that. No, they were preoccupied with the thoughts of her going and sticking a deal with the captain. That probably didn’t bode well for himself and his kingdom. And the king didn’t like the fact that he had been left out of that kind of discussion under his own roof. “Business and him trying to kill you… That still doesn’t answer my question completely,” he said huffily his usually temperament flaring a little, “The old man should be here…”

Just as swiftly it change as she brought up more pleasant, and to Rhoule far more interesting, of Anna. He smile a touch and looked over to his dinner date. If she could be called a dinner date, or even his. The king certainly was looking into possessing her right now. Then again, she had been the most interesting female he had met in a while. “This lovely creature,” the King of Spade’s voice filling with pride, “Is Anna! She has a very lovely singing voice. I would ask her to sing something after super but we will not joining you all for any other sort of after dinner entertainment.” The thought that perhaps her capturing his heart made him think for a moment. His heart and attentions were two very different things for him. There was yet a creature anywhere that could claim they had his heart. Ever. Not that he was opposed to the idea.. Just he loved himself a little too much to let anyone else make themselves a place there.

It was then his glass was being filled by a shaky servant. The liquid that poured out was bright green with gold flecks twinkling in the light of the room. There also seemed to be other little crystals floating around in it, but that was probably just sugar. Now that was something the king always wanted more of. That looked far more interesting then what had been poured out so far. Hot food was now being brought in by a good number of servers. All the dishes were rather different. The poor cook never knew exactly what to make, Rhoule changed his mind so often about what he wanted or what foods were acceptable too often. But needless to say there was a wide verity. A great big meat pie was presented. Another dish seemed to still to be a live, for the contents of the plate still slithered slightly. Many brightly colored puddings. Large legs of meat bigger than probably an arm. And many other dishes that he didn’t really take much notice of. It seemed that he was slightly pleased by everything. Though he still looked a little out of sorts.

“Finally!” the King snapped, once all the food was placed down for them, making the servant pouring his drink jump a little bit, splashing the substance on him. Purple eyes narrowed and his fingers snapped. Two rather large card guard appeared and grabbed the poor servant by the arms. “To the dungeon with that one,” he huffed, using his hand to brush away the liquid. Oh, the old man not being there was making him a bit testy. If someone didn’t persuade him just to have the servant thrown out, well, no one knew exactly what happened in that place under the castle. No one except a little Dormouse that had been the only one ever to come back out of that place. Well…At least that anyone else knew of.

User ImageUser Image Thankful for being noticed with out having to say a word, Myrine looked up towards the playful fellow who’s pocket she happened to be staying in at the moment. Random’s question caught her off guard. Then she had remembered her slight curse, where she was brought up stinky cheese was a curse. Sort of. Just away to express herself. If her fury cheeks would have aloud a blush it probably would have happened then. But really there was to much going on to really think too hard on such things at the moment. No, she was more focusing on the rumbling in her belly and the next strand of quickly spoken words by the odd but amusing fellow.

“Another game?” she asked with a small tilt of her head. Weren’t they playing hide and seek? Oh well another game wouldn’t hurt. Sin is probably pleased as plumbs for being so close to the king again. Myrine didn’t know that her cousin was no where near her or the table. Her small claws dug in harder into the fabric so she could keep herself up a little more. She gave a small squeaky giggle as the boy started to inspect the spoon. There was no real urge to tell Random that ‘normal’ people didn’t look at spoons in such interested manner. It was the way that Random was, and no harm was coming from it. So why not let him think he was doing well.

“Oh yes I am very hung…” The voice of the agitated King hit her small rounded ears causing her to duck back into the pocket. “Uh oh, he mad…” She said rather childishly.

Sinope’s arms were still crossed around her as her normally cheerful face still kept itself in a bit of a frown. For her there was not need to be careful. This was where she considered her home to be. This castle, the thick brick castle with the selfish King and all of his guards that threatened her very existence, was the DorMouse’s home. Her pierced ears twitched a little when the bell had clunked, but when the clank of armor caused her dual colored eyes to widen considerable. Perhaps the real sense of danger was finally making its way into her sub-conscious. Or it could have been the fact that night fall always made her less care free. Either way she soon found strong arms around her picking that swiftly picked her up.

The DorMouse gave a squeak, which she luckily muffled into Tass’s armor. Her arms clasped around his neck. Her body curling into the guards arm. Her heart was racing, and the littler of the cousins mind was going just as fast. She needed a distraction for the danger. Something that would bring back her light heartedness and not think about the guards that were making their way towards them. Luckily, Tass had reminded her of the game. “We are it then?” she asked lifting her head from him for the first time. Her head tilting softly in the question. The were playing in teams it seemed. Why else would her cousin go with Random instead of keeping Sinope in line? Kudos to Tass for making everything seem a whole less scary.

A small giggle came form her as her tail moved around the arm under her. A small but jingle noise was made, but nothing too loud. But then again, those guards were trained extremely well. But that was far from Sinope’s mind. “They probably have the best hiding places! Mymy knows a lot about this castle. How else could she have found me!” The girl’s thoughts turned to where she thought her cousin and the others would hide. “Do you know any good places to hide Tass?”

((Ah yes! I did forget I had that power because of him >_< Need to use that more often! Thanks for the reminder. Yay Tass will still be played and the more drama will insue with the cousins being seperated.))

(( Kudos. XD Fun word you don't hear often. Thank you Cuddly.))

Haven, sitting in a chair amongst all the others at the table, could see Jeanie, though she hadn't seemed to notice him, and he was glad for that. She seemed to want nothing to do with him earlier, why would she want him around now... Yet that small boy, Random... he had somehow won the heart of his fair maiden, without trying... All that flexibility and custom made breasts... Haven's tattoo. I could give her the world on a platter, so why did she want him so badly? What has he got that I lack? And more so, how can I get rid of him... he thought to himself as he absent mindedly pulled pieces of the surrounding substances for his own digestion.

Tass continued to look forward, keeping his eyes on where they were going and watching for guards, but he managed out a "Yes, we're it," in reply to her. "Now, remember to watch that tail of yours. We can't have them knowing we're nearby, looking for them. Or they may move to another hiding spot... or worse, go to the base and be safe," he explained softly to her, while sneaking around corners and making sure the guard routes didn't cross with them. "I know a few, but you'll have to help me find them. Hide and go seek is not exactly my specialty," he answered, knowing that he usually guarded the palace, not looked for hiding places.

Teaser looked up from her talk with Alice when the King entered. She listened as he raved on the absence of the old man, and did not want to arouse his ire, or Mary's for that matter. Her companion seemed a little too dangerous, and that might put Random and Jeanie in jeopardy. The Master, she thought privately, was much more capable than anyone gave her credit for, and Gale had already proven himself formidable. Also, there was the one she hated behind Mary, spilling its poison words from it black mouth. She knew, more than anyone, what Darkness was and what it wanted.

Darkness loomed behind Erick's chair, keeping to itself until it saw Haven enter and sit. Mary was proving quite stubborn, which in truth, it sincerely liked. It was a quality to be admired, for once you had someone like that on your side of an argument, it was almost guaranteed they would stay on your side of it. But Haven... oh, right now it just couldn't resist. The look of desire at the harlot slave, and the look of venom at the boy. It eased behind Haven's chair. It whispered, "Pardon my absence, your Grace, but I..." It feigned horrified surprise. "Oh my. Has she tamed him?" Then in a lower, suggestive tone, "Now what do you suppose could calm that creature down so? The wine, perhaps... of course, they did run off together earlier two children off to play their games. Maybe she.... wore him out." Its tone was one that suggested the 'games' she and Haven had played.

Random was looking at all the food, knowing what he was going to eat (and the still moving plate was definitely NOT on the list), but also puzzled, trying to figure out what Myrine might like. He looked curiously at the meat pie, recalling a rhyme that, now, didn't make much sense. "Pie is open," he whispered, "But four and twenty blackbirds no sing." He didn't care to pay attention to the King too awful much, but he did listen when the DorMouse mentioned Rhoule's anger. He took a bite of the leg of whatever-it-was and eased a piece into his lap, then slyly over to his pocket for Myrine. He leaned over to Jeanie, very close so he wouldn't be heard, and whispered in her ear, "Why Master want to be queen? They no seem all that happy."

((Sorry.. RL got on top of me again))
Josh's face darkened, "The next nearest building is the castle itself"

Alice walked quickly down the corridors, wandering blindly until she returned to a calmer state. Then she began to worry realising she was alone in the Hatter house, and very lost. There must be someone here.. somewhere.. Alice coughed and called "Hello? Is someone there?"

"Your highness, Poseidon is not here because he is dead by the guile and hands of she who sits so calmly on your right." Cyrillia was fighting hard to control her upset - especially when she heard the gasp of surprise from beside her.

Jeanie's eyes teared up as she realised what Master meant. Her hand snaked out under the table and grasped Cyrillia's tightly. Jeanie had liked the rough loud captain, and he had shared her fascination of water. A strange surge of resentment and anger entered her mind, and she looked anew at the 'bloody' woman.
That was, until she noticed the all too familiar sight of Haven watching her again. Red roses bloomed on her cheeks, and once again her eyes were trapped by his. For some reason he looked upset, or angry maybe. The intensity of his look made her drop the hand she loved so dear and clasp her own together, wringing them soundly.

The twins stared at Josh and Izzy. "Well.. Should you like our help too?" They asked, each now clasping their revolvers inside
their sleeves - to combat any night creatures

((Jesta is waiting very patiently for a reply, which is an achievement for her XD))
