My boyfriends name is Brian and we have been together 6 years now! Crazy right? I am loving this guild and figured this is the best place to start getting to know the rest of you! smile

Hello, Amanda! My name is actually Ashley, haha. But I'd rather go by Riku. It's a nickname I've had since 5th grade, plus my actual name is so damn common. 6 YEARS?! That's absolutely amazing! I'm glad your liking this guild, it is totally awesome.

Pfft, my actual name is Rebecca. BORING. Amber was my first OC and so I stuck with her when I joined the guild.
I've actually considered having my rl friends call me Amber... But decided against it. I may have them call me Rae though. (Different OC. Her name is closer to mine though. Plus, I've been called Rachel a whole lot. Even my mother has called me Rachel! Haha.)
Heyo. I bet 5 imaginary bucks that your names are more interesting than mine is. Meredith. Bleh. It's literally the longest in my entire family (brothers, sisters, parents, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, great-aunts, great-uncles, great-grandparents, etc.). So I go by Red =P since all the other nicknames are boring and so unlike me. (okay, now that I think about it I just sounded like a racist.... what i meant was: i'm not that Merry and Mere sounds like a horse, and Red is one of my favorite colors.) And I just realized that my character's name is one letter off of my nickname. Fred - F = Red.

I just found out that the new Captain America movie is being directed by the same guy who directed The Rocketeer.
Lyra: Well it was in 5th grade and I was over at a friends house. We were watching the show D.N. Angel, and there were two sisters on the show named Riku and Risa, since Riku was the oldest I got her name, and she got Risa's. It's kind of lame, haha, but it stuck with me I guess. My friend ended up ditching the name Risa but she still calls me Riku every once in awhile. Or she'll call me Ashie.
Amber: Rebecca isn't a bad name, you could make cute nicknames with it! Like Bec-Bec haha.
Fred: The nickname Red is pretty cool, my friend would be jealous. Meredith is a nice name. =D
Mylian: Captain America? WOOT! Although....I don't know much about this superhero, I just like superhero movies.
Hey, I have my reasons for not liking the name Meredith. Reason 1: Of every single Meredith I have met, they are all girly. Reason 2: I am what you would call emo/punk so... it definitely does not fit me. Reason 3: It just sounds so formal to me... meanwhile, most of the people I know do not have formal-ish names.
Slappy: Why'd you have to say that? I want to guess your name so much now! (is it in any way close to the name reagan?)

The super hero movie i want to watch is Green Lantern, He is my fav superhero since i was five
Mylian: Captain America? The Rocketeer? Confused...
The Rocketeer was a fun movie in the early 90s set in WWII era California. It was about a guy who finds a jet pack. It has Bill (not Bruce) Campbell, Jennifer Connelly (sp? The girl from Labyrinth), and Timothy Dalton. It's a great movie.
Since Captain America is a WWII era superhero, this is a very good choice of director.
(Unrelated note: it takes forever to write a literate post with proper punctuation on the Amazon Kindle's bare bones browser, but it's worth it. xd )

Fred;; Eh, Meredith isn't horrible. Definitely not a name I'd want though, so I see where you're coming from. Not as bad as Agnes or Ingrid though. (No offense to anyone with either of those names, they're just my least favorite names. )
Lyra;; Yeah it wasn't a joke. I don't remember it, but she's always telling the story. Apparently all throughout church when I was still a newborn she called me Rachel, until the end and the lady she had been talking to had to ask what my name was since she suddenly started calling me Rebecca. In her defense, she was sleep deprived. xD
Slappy;; Aw, why thank you. (: Is your name Reyna? Or maybe Estrella?
Riku;; I just don't like it. And oh gosh, don't call me Bec-Bec. That would annoy the heck out of me. Also don't call me Rebecky.
