Mala is so whiny. gonk Shoujo Phoenix sad People can really suck like that, yeah. I hope things get better for you there. Thanks. sad It'd been a really good week on that rotation aside from that one clinician... It seemed like every time I worked with that guy, things didn't go well, but every other case I had was fine... I try not to discount what could be constructive criticism, but nobody else had a problem with what I was doing. I shouldn't take it personally, but it's still upsetting. Kinetic Dream Some people are serious assholes... at least not everyone's like that, and some people actually take the time and energy to understand what's going on before they make a decision. Ed: Or anything else for that matter, not just decisions. Thank goodness for people who use paticence and control! Yeah, almost everyone else has been really good. Malaryush I like this plan. >D ...Although, as there is a current rabies shortage, I may have to make do with parvo puppies... ninja I guess that's close enough. Parvo puppies make teh much smaller and younger Kin cry crying

Kinetic Dream Parvo puppies make teh much smaller and younger Kin cry crying *pet* Parvo is a sad disease... We've had a lot of parvo puppies in the hospital lately, in part thanks to a breeder who wasn't vaccinating her pups properly. sweatdrop At least we've been able to save the ones that got into the hospital in time.

We've had a lot of parvo puppies in the hospital lately, in part thanks to a breeder who wasn't vaccinating her pups properly. sweatdrop At least we've been able to save the ones that got into the hospital in time. I don't believe I've heard of Parvo before......what is it exactly?

hilaroma I don't believe I've heard of Parvo before......what is it exactly? It's a viral disease that causes fever, a severe bloody diarrhea, and vomiting. Without treatment, it can definitely kill puppies. Which is particularly unfortunate, because vaccines are very effective in preventing the disease.

You want to do everything you can, but you know that there's next to nothing you can do except hope and/or pray that the doctor/vet knows what they're doing. I stayed up all night with both puppies that got it. It was nerve wrecking to say the least.

A lot of pups that get parvo grow up to be undersized or weak all their lives, but he's a huge thing. heart I should upload pictures of him. He's adorable.
