Jack felt blood gushing out of his mouth. He tried to free himself from Cody's grip. He started crying. "Cody. Let me go. Let me," Jack coughed blood onto the other's shirt. He started coughing, just kept coughing.

Sammy grimaced. How could they be fighting?... Where was Mr. Ginji? The time she needed help most, there was none. She sniffled a bit, balling up her fist. She really didn't want to do this; Cody had been a good friend to her. But she had to. "Stop right now!" She called, right before punching Cody in the face. It wasn't the strongest punch ever, but she thought it might get his attention.

Ginji rushed into battle boldly as he came face to face with a multitude of Combees. 9 to be exact. He sighed lightly as he grabbed the bulky package of white flutes and Pokeballs to greet the newest members of his army. First off, he threw Porygon into the fray of flying bees.
The cybernetic Pokemon buzzed with excitement as it fired a Tri-Attack at a giant wall of them. It was like playing jenga with living honey bees, but the laws of physics no longer applied. The giant wall of Combee fired back with a powerful gust attack. Porygon flew into a tree but recovered swiftly as it launched another Tri-Attack at the center of the wall. The one weak section of the wall broke and the first Combee was released from the sticky prison.
Ginji smiled as he took this as a chance to throw his first Pokeball and catch the first of the flying troops. The Combee wall looked mighty funny with a hole in the center, but that didn't stop them from combining their power and KOing Porygon with a Super Gust.
Ginji looked startled at the sheer force of the Combee's combined strength and sent out his Cyndaquil to finish the job. As the tiny Pokemon released a steady stream of Flamethrower, setting in a nice burn to a few of the Combee. One even caught fire and broke formation, giving the boy a chance to catch his second Combee. He fused the white flute and a second Pokemon as tossed it.
The wall was getting weaker by the minute, its defense down by the flames. In the panic, each Combee released a Sweet Scent to attempt to confuse their opponents. Cyndaquil was not amused and laughed as it sent out another flame, burning two more Combee and setting at wall ablaze with a red flame. Ginji smiled as he infused two more Pokeballs with white flute sheet music and tossed them at Combee number 3 and 4.
In an angry fiery spurt, the honey bees swarmed the tiny fire type with Bug Bite. Within seconds the little guy was overtaken by the Pokemon as it fainted. Ginji sighed, it was inevitable to have Pokemon faint in an epic battle. He smiled slightly as Larvitar appeared on the stage. The green guy looked at the wall, almost inteimidated as it shielded itself by releasing a Dark Pulse, knocking off two more Combee.
This was going quite nicely, Ginji thought as he tossed two more White Flute infused Pokeballs at Combee numbers 5 and 6. There were only 3 more left to catch, then he could catch up with Sammy and Jack. The Combee attacked again with a gust, knocking down a honey tree with Larvitar's dense form. The green Pokemon's eyes glowed red as it released a Stone Edge, separating the last of the Combee from each other. Ginji smiled as he returned Larvitar and brought out Natu to weaken them just a bit more.
The last three Combee knew that they were on their last legs, or wings if you wanted to put it that way. Together they released a sharp Swift attack, cutting up Natu pretty bad. The psychic's eyes glowed a blue color as it released a psychic pulse amongst the disconnected Combee. They three finally fell due to the burn, but not before Ginji tossed his last three Pokeballs infused with the white flutes. All 9 Pokeballs wiggled thrice as they dinged with accomplishment.
The Admin of Aqua smiled as he bagged all the balls, making a note to keep it separate from the rest of the group, he'd make black and yellow covers for them later. As they were HIS army now. Not the Queens. "O shi-" Ginji thought as he was ransacked by 6 Vespiquens.
Ginji sighed deeply as he got up to his feet. "I really wish you didn't do that just now." he smiled evilly as he brought out Arcanine. The canine used its advantageous speed to attack with a Heat Wave, inflicting a burn on a few of the Vespiquen. They didn't like that too much so they started to plot together and formed a giant wall of Vespiquen, much like the Combee had done. And we all know how well that did them.
Arcanine roared as it was now opposed by a Defense Order, it released a Will-o-wisp, inflicting burns of the rest of the Vespiquen as they were acting as one unit. That unit didn't take too kindly to being burned, so it issued an Attack Order against Arcanine. The fire type took the hit hard, but held on with its Focus Band. As its last atatck, Arcanine unleashed a violent Heat Wave again, causing 2 of the Vespiquen to become available for capture. Ginji jumped on the chance by throwing two White Flute infused Aqua Balls at the attacking Pokemon.
Arcanine was defeated shortly after by Vespiquen's Attack Order. Ginji smiled, only 4 Pokemon to go. He laughed starkly as he looked at his last Pokeball. Dragonite. This was going to be good. The Dragon appeared, and it wasted no time, firing a blatant bullet of Fire Blast at the queens. They each erupted in a sea of flames, burning and screaming little buggy cries.
They were doomed. Ginji smiled as he looked at his last 4 Aqua balls that he had infused with White Flutes at the panicking Pokemon. Each one hit and went silent shortly after rolling around on the ground. As Ginji bagged them he wonder where everyone one had went, picking up the pace to catch up.
Eventually he came up to everyone. "Hi gu- oh my what happened here?!" he said surprised as he entered the group. He sounded a bit happy, defeating a freaking army of bees and bugs.

The punch phased Cody and he noticed the blood on his hand. "What the... No way..." He ran to Serenity. "Leave! Now! Just go!" he hopped on her back as she took off, heading back home to Lavaridge. "What have I done..." he asked himself.

Sammy fell on the ground, sniffling. It was all her fault. Everything. She had persisted that the conversation continued, and she hadn't had the guts to stop the fight sooner. "Hey M-Mr. Ginji..." She stuttered, shaking a bit. She wanted to die; literally. She wondered if Jack was okay, but didn't have the heart to look up. She was sort of in shock.

Was Cody turning into the old Ike? Was he really THAT close-minded and self absorbed? Lord he hoped not but it was looking like it. On top of that, Sammy probably hated him. Jack DEFINITELY hated him. He had lost all the respect he had worked so hard to earn from his team. Maybe just staying in Lavaridge would be best. Maybe going back wasn't the smartest idea. Cody brought out his TADS and forwarded a message to all his available teammates.
Due to recent happenings and things in and out of my control, I won't be returning to Aqua. I guess you could count this as my "resignation letter". If you need me, you know where to find me. If you don't know where to find me, ask somebody. And if they don't know, ask somebody else.

Ginji's book turned to a red glow as the message was received, he didn't notice it as it was hidden all the new Pokeballs he had. "Hiya Sammy." he smiled as he threw the bag over his shoulder. "And Jack, what a shiner that one is. It'll build character. You'll have to tell me the story of how you got it some time." he joked as he tossed out Dragonite again and hoisted Jack onto its back. "Ready to head back to HQ? I caught an army of Combee and Vespiquen, so we can go now I guess."

Sammy felt her TADS vibrating in her pocket. She read the message that was sent to everyone, balling her fists as she did. He couldn't just give up on the team! Sure, she thought that he had done everything wrong, but...... That? Now it really was all her fault. She had let everyone down; or atleast, that's how she felt. She picked up a rock that was close to her, moving it between her fingers. She considered banging it against her head; quick and easy, but she might wake up. That's what she was afraid of; waking up. She sniffled again, getting up. She was ready to leave, too.

All the mean while Ike sat on the railings of a stone bridge which crossed one of the canals of Altomare, soaking in the night atmosphere. The street lights glistened with a yellow haze as a cool breeze blew past Ike. The stars above would turn on and off as clouds passed by, the moon waning, and dimming.
Typhlosion was leaning on the rail next to where Ike sat.
"Why do you think Marty wasn't home?" Typhlosion asked. He was staring down at the dark green water as it flowed under the bridge. Ike sighed.
"Dunno. Maybe news of Cyrus's escape sounded the alarms for him or something?" Ike guessed. His godfather could be melodramatic at times, Ike thought.
Typhlosion took in a deep breath of the cool, salty air. Ike lifted his feet and swung around on his seat on the railing, jumping onto the bridge next to Typhlosion.
"I have a key to his house. Let's crash there for the night." Ike said, signaling Typhlosion to follow. His godfather lived where Ike's parents once lived, the house that was burnt down a little around a decade and a half to two decades ago. It had since been rebuilt, and Ike was amazed how well he could navigate around a house he never remembered being in.
His TADS beeped, but Ike ignored it for some reason. He and his partners where in a rare state of bliss.

Christian was walking around HQ, after just getting back from his last mission, Mission Im-Fossil-able, when all of a sudden his TADS went off again. Christian then reached in his bag and took it out and opened it and it read:
MISSION- Reverse Fossilization!
You can only do this if you did "Mission Im-Fossil-able".
There is rumor that a machine can turn fossils into pokemon, but a gang of thieves has kidnapped the scientists. Your mission is to rescue the scientists and de-fossilize your fossil.
Pokemon:
Your fossilized one but that is free
Funds upon completion: 700
Christian then left HQ and went to where he kept his bike. Christian then started to ride off in the direction where the rumors came from about the machine. Christian was thinking of what his Claw fossil would become. He thought about it real hard and then it came to him that the Claw fossil came from a Anorith pokemon. After a while he came across a Pokemon Center. Christian entered it and went to the computer and put all his pokemon in it & took out Wartortle, Muk, Geodude, Gastly, Tauros, & Steelix.
Christian then left the Pokemon Center and then headed toward the machine again. After a while Christian got to a town, that looked kinda deserted. Chrisian looked around and saw a old man sitting on a bench. Christian went over to him and said “hey, you heard of a machine that can de-fossilize pokemon fossils into actual pokemon?” The old man turned toward Christian and smiled and said “yea, this is the town that has it. Everyone left here because of it. Only a few of us stayed here. I bet you wanna de-fossilize a pokemon fossil right? The machine is in that building over there.” Christian turned and saw the building the old man was pointing at. “Thanks old man.” he said. The old man then threw in one last thing “I would hurry if I was you, there was a group of 3 thieves that went in there a few minutes ago, looking for the same thing.” Christian turned toward the man and then back to the building “this should be fun then.” Christian then rode off in the direction of the building.
Christian parked his bike against the building wall and then went to the front door and entered looking around. He then heard a noise coming from a back room, so Christian went over to the door and opened it and looked inside. He saw the 3 thieves and the scientists tied up. Christian knew what he had to do, so he went through a different door and started to think of what he was going to do. While he was thinking all of a sudden the door knobe started to turn as he looked and then quickly hid under a desk. It was one of the thieves and Christian knew that. Christian then showed himself and got ready for a battle. The thieve called out his Charmander. Christian called out his Wartortle.
Charmander went for a Ember attack, and it hit, but Wartortile was uneffected by it. Wartortle went for a Rapid Spin, but it missed. Charmander went for a Scratch attack, but that missed. Wartortile then went for a Water Pulse, and it hit, and Charmander was super affected by it and flew back and fainted. The Trainer then called back his Charmander and ran away and out of the building. Christian called back his pokemon and took a breather. Christian then looked out the door and saw the other 2 thieves looking and wondering why the third ran away. One thieve went upstairs and the other headed toward the room Christian was in. Christian got ready and waited. The thieve entered the room and saw Christian and called out a Bellsprout. Christian called out his Muk.
Bellsprout went for a Razor Leaf and it hit but Muk wasn’t affected much. Muk went for a Sludge attack and it hit and Bellsprout flew back. Bellsprout came back with a Vine Whip and it hit and Muk went back but he wasn’t out. Muk went for a Sludge Bomb but it missed. Bellsprout went for another Razor Leaf, but it missed. Muk went for a Body Slam and it hit and Bellsprout fainted. The thieve called back Bellsprout and called out a Fearow. Christian called back Muk and called out Geodude.
Fearow went for a Peck and it hit but Geodude wasn’t affected by it. Geodude went for a Tackle but it missed. Fearow went for another Peck and it hit, but again Geodude wasn’t affected. Geodude then went for a Rock Throw and it hit and Fearow went flying back and almost fainted. Fearow went for a Fury Attack but it missed. Geodude then got on Fearows back and nailed a Selfdestruct and both pokemon fainted. The thieve called back his Fearow and called out a Sandshrew. Christian called back Geodude and called out his Gastly.
Sandshrew went for a Sand Tomb but Gastly wasn’t affected by it. Gastly went for a Hypnosis, and it worked and Sandshrew fell asleeep. Sandshrew was fast asleep, and got hit with a Dream Eater and Sandshrew felt it bad, and almost fainted. Sandshrew woke up and went for a Scratch but it had no effect on Gastly. Gastly went for a Shadow Ball and it hit and Sandshrew fainted. The thieve the called back his Sandshrew and ran off like the first thieve. Christian then heard the last thieve come down and enter the room. That thieve called out a Rattata, while Christian called back his Gastly and called out his Tauros.
Rattata went for a Tackle and it hit. Tauros went for a Horn Attack and it hit and Rattata flew back but didn’t faint. Rattata went for a Hyper Fang and it hit and Tauros almost fainted. Tauros came back and went for a tackle but it missed. Rattata went for another Hyper Fang but it missed, and Rattata was nailed with a Take Down and it hit and Rattata fainted. The thieve then called back his Rattata and called out his Murkrow, while Christian called back Tauros and called out his Steelix.
Murkrow went for a Pursuit and it his but it had little damage on Steelix. Steelix went for a Iron Tail and it hit and Murkrow went flying back. Murkrow came back with a Wing attack and it hit but again it had little affect on Steelix. Steelix went for a Bind on Murkrow and it hit and Murkrow fainted. The thieve then called back his Murkrow and ran off. Christian called back Steelix and went to the scientists and freed them.
The scientists then thanked Christian for saving them and then Christian asked if he could use the de-fossilization machine and they said he could because it was the least they could do for him. He put his fossil in the machine and waited for the scientists to do their thing. After a while the machine started to move and make noises. When the machine stopped there was a pokemon in it. It was a Anorith, in the machine. Christian then took out a pokeball and put the Anorith in it. Christian then left the building and went to his bike and rode back to HQ. On the way back Christian stopped at a Pokemon Center and healed all of his pokemon.
Christian then got back to HQ and put the mission on the desk with the Anorith in the pokeball, and waited for it to be graded.

"You okay there Sammy?" Ginji asked as he hoped onto Dragonite. "It's just a bruise, it'll heal up and Jack will be back in action within no time. No reason to cry about it." the boy encouraged as he hoped down from the Pokemon. "Do you need a lift? If you don't feel like flying yourself?"

Sammy shook her head at the question of flying. She released Vixen, who had seen her like this before. Without waiting, the two took off. Sammy never said a word, just stared down into nothingness. She had a question that she wanted someone to answer. "Mr. Ginji?" She called back quickly, unsure if she should ask her next question.

Ginji smiled in delight, Sammy was stronger then he previously thought. "Yeah?" he replied nicely, making sure Jack wouldn't fall off of Dragonite.

Ginji starred at Sammy in disbelief, perhaps strength of the mind was a serious question. "No situation is every that desperate. But obviously something is bothering you. Do you want to talk about it?" he said calmly, inching Dragonite closer to Vixen.
