Seph's ears perked up, and he stood slowly, positioning himself next to Syoku, his back to the table, his arms crossed. He wasn't blocking Yasuo from Syoku, though.

The man looked about.
" Wow. " The man remarked. ' Busy, and so dramatic! " He said with a smile donw at the cat. This time the cat gave him a reproachful look before leaping up onto the mans shoulder. The man patted the black cat and then closed his eyes for a minute.
~ Nyl Phairen, are you about? " He asked mentally to anyone within three hundred feet of himself.

Nyl stiffened, standing in the doorway that led to the medwing hall.

She went rigid as she heard the voice in her head, asking if Nyl was around.
She paused for a moment, and then said "Neko..... I think I'm going crazy."

Yasuo found the kitchen with ease, hearing voices as he ran towards i, his eyes twitching with every step in pain. She got up to the kitchen door... then froze. She couldn't move... Syoku saw Yasuo and grinned at him hapilly, seeming to be the only one happy about her height.

He gave a slight pause as the cat leapt off of him and began to circle him impatiently.

Nathaniel? That wasn't one of them...but such a name is easy to divise, if such is needed.
~You will understand when I say I can't trust you. However, you will find two people out on the dojo porch. Show yourself to them, and they'll tell you if you can come in.~

Skipping over the remarks about the office, she said quietly and quite seriously, "I swear, I just heard someone ask in my head if Nyl was around...."

Show yourself to them, and they'll tell you if you can come in.~ ~... but I am already inside, in the main room, I walked onto the porch and saw no one... ~ He gave a sigh, he was pretty sure she would not trust him now. ~ Do whatever it is you need to do, I am going to sit on the couch and await you. Yasuo snapped out of his stare as Sephiroth spoke. He then went to his daught and hugged her tightly, feeling her hug back.

Nyl did notice him then, an elderly man sitting on one of the couches. She realized he must have no idea what she looked like...and if he did, she knew she couldn't trust him.
So she walked past him and into the kitchen, standing in the doorway. "Now will you sit down?" Her comment and the smile accompanying it were obviously directed at Yasuo.
