"Someday?" Atem asked, sighing heavily. "Oh, for ******** sake... He could be gone for months!" He wasn't irritated at Seto, but at himself. He didn't need his conscious reminding him that he was the one who made Seto leave. He would need to make a list of places he could have gone and check them. A priest didn't pass through towns easily without being seen by a few people.

Atem left the room, going back to Nanu. "Ayira says she doesn't know where Seto's gone. Oh, and she accepted my apology, but says I'm not forgiven." Atem searched and found a piece of papyrus. He looked for a brush and ink as well, but couldn't find anything. He would have to call a servant in if he wanted to make a list. "So I'm just going to have to come up with ideas where he is, and hope he didn't run into any trouble." Though Atem would never admit it out loud, he was worried about Seto. Who knew what was happening to him?

"But... but..." Atem sputtered, frowning. "He's just one man. What if he runs into robbers, or criminals, or... Bakura! What if Bakura finds him? I just want to apologize and let him know it's okay to come back." Bakura wrapped the rope around Seto's wrists and ankles, making sure it wasn't too tight that it cut off the blood circulation. "Mariku there is going to watch over you. If you need anything, ask him. Otherwise just lay there and sleep." Bakura said, trying to stifle a yawn. "So enjoy yourself, priest." He stretched as he went into the bedroom, flopping down on the assortment of pillows. He had a rough day...

Rei who was in thesame room smiled as bakura floped down and she cuuddled up to him.
Nanu sighed "we can figure that out in the morning."

Bakura didn't hesitate to return Rei's affections, wrapping his arms around her. A sudden thought hit him and he frowned. "I had a weird dream last night... Did I tell you about it?" Atem looked out the window; he hadn't realized that it was already nightfall. He sighed heavily. "Oh... all right. I guess." He said, getting to his feet. "I've got things I need to go do. See you in the morning."

"If you've never met yourself as a child, consider yourself lucky. It's a very strange thing to hug yourself..." Bakura murmured drowsily, before actually falling asleep. Outside, Mariku and Seto were talking. Not loudly, just in normal tones. They seemed to be having a perfectly fine conversation.

It wasent long after bakura fell asleep kek started crying. Not wanting to wake bakura she scooped up kek heading out into the main room were seto and mariku was rocking kek.

Seto looked up from the ground to watch Rei, but Mariku continued talking. "No, it wasn't like they hired me. This scary old lady. She must've been nine feet tall, and had a serpent for a tongue. That's what it seemed like, anyway. I'm telling you, this woman was completely insane. Not in an insulting way, though. It probably suits her fine." "So, what, this lady hires you to watch over Bakura? Why?" Seto asked, finally turning away from Rei to look back at the blonde. He wasn't tired yet, and was enjoying his conversation with this guy. His hatred for what he had done to Ayira could be forgotten for now. "I didn't know at first. Now I do. It's because he's a friggin' monster. Not all the time, but just every now and then. Like when he went to the palace and popped some girl's eye out, and I think when he went after you." Mariku shook his head, exhaling slowly. "It's interesting. A lot more fun than what I had been doing."

"Oh, and what was that?" Seto asked, wriggling around slightly, trying to get comfortable. It was hard when you were all tied up like he was. He was surprised when Mariku leaned forward and loosened the ropes a little. "Uh... thanks." "You'd get rope burn otherwise." Mariku said, shrugging. "But, anyway, I can't really remember what I did. I just know it was a lot duller than this." He nudged Seto a little with his foot. "What kinds of jobs did you have in the palace?" Seto rolled his eyes, wincing a little at the nudge. "Are you kidding me? I ran that place. I ran the entire kingdom. Atem's a terrible ruler. He expects his priests to do all of the 'hard stuff' while he ******** whoever he wants." He glanced towards the bedroom door where Bakura had gone behind, then over to Rei, remembering suddenly that she was in here. He didn't say what he had just been about to, realizing that that would be a bad move.
