She listened, giving him her full attention, appreciating that he was sharing his thoughts with her. However, she wished he had not said what he had, that his desires were not the truth. Her fruit and tea disappeared from her lap as she drew her legs up under herself more, being both attentive and holding a better posture, though the expression on her face shown something much more different now than before. In this moment, she could not bring herself to look at him, feeling that everything she had on her mind a moment before was on the brink of being lost forever. Inhaling deeply, she spoke again."What is your objective?" she asked simply. This could be confusing to many, but she believed he would know her full meaning; specifically who and when did he plan to cause this trouble? Those in the RDS? Other countries? The whole world? Depending on his answer, her next words and the next few moments of their lives together could be very different than what she had planned originally.

"There are two of them." he began sitting back down next to her a little sad that he'd clearly upset her but was trying to dismiss these feelings as signs of weakness. "We do want to be with you as we have been. We do not want that to change. But we will not let it stand in the way of the second objective. We will control everything here. These grounds house some of the most formidable foes we've encountered. We will crush them and rise to the top of the food chain once again. Years have passed with us being passive. We want to be aggressive again. Like we were when the both of us first met. When we were being devious, causing trouble, picking fights. We want that back and more." he said turning back to her and reaching a hand over and stroking his hand over her cheek. "We know you don't like hearing this but would you ask us to deny who we really are and have always been? No no, we wouldn't ask you to change your naive shy and gentle nature. We don't want you to be twisted like we are."

"Most who hold power here are wanting to fight to maintain their power or to prove their power to others. With that thought, I do not particularly object to your goal. However, I do not approve of demanding a fight to prove power on one who does not wish to fight for that reason." she said softly, her words holding more than one meaning with this statement. Though she knew many would want to fight and prove their worth, their power, she did not think as many as he hoped would try their luck with him. That and she believed this would all move through faster than he hoped and would again become bored and seek new challenges in a little amount of time. This caused her worry and yet gave her hope also. But could she truly live with this? "Have you specific targets? Or perhaps allow others to come to you first?" she asked softly, her mind now clinking in to full speed of thoughts, wanting to know so many answers. For now, she tried to keep on topic. "Indeed, I would no sooner try to change you than I would allow you to change me." she said softer yet, not reacting to his touch.

"No, we've learned to calm ourselves as well. While we realize our goal and purpose is combat. We do not need to seek it. Instead we will let those who seek it as well find us for the real challenges. We will lay challenges down before those we deem worthy, if they accept we will accept. If they do not accept we will proclaim their cowardice and leave it at that. Should they change their mind we will accept then. " he specified his intentions. "Patience was a virtue you taught us. We were patient to have you, waited and calculated every possible opportunity until you were ours. And now we have you, and look at the both of us, it's wonderful. We enjoy it enough to not forsake it for the sake of our purpose." he said giving her a large smile leaning closer to her. "We will take this same patience to combat. We will wait and let the good things and exceptional fights come to us instead of seeking them out and stalking them. You taught us the age old lesson, good things come to those who wait. Wait we did, and we got you. If we wait for opposition, strong and challenging opponents will come. Worthy of our effort. We can be patient knowing that."

Inhaling, she could not stop her breath from stuttering, she was so very worried in that moment about his aggression getting out of hand. With these few facts settled, she was much more relaxed, though she still had her worries for the future. Slowly, she leaned against him again, glad to have him there, glad to know that things would not play to her fears. At least .. not yet. It could still turn out to be rather conflicting in the future, but time would tell. "I am relieved to know this." she said softly still, seeming to still be thinking on something. "Do you mean to kill those who oppose you?"

He shrugged. "It depends on the terms agreed upon. If they are challenging us to a death match and we win, yes. We will kill them. As we would have been killed had we lost. Will we be challenging people to these death matches? The possibility exists. But we also like the prospect of stroking our ego by leaving them alive to bear witness to our undeniable power and superiority. So unless we think the person is too threatening to leave alive or has earned our ire somehow. We doubt it." he admitted softly.

"I do not know how I could live with the knowledge that one of our friends died by your hands." she said softly, still not looking at him. She was not requesting that he avoid this at all costs, simply stating the reality of a potential outcome that could cause strife in the future. Otherwise, she found his desires to be acceptable, despite wishing it would be different. "The thought of losing more friends and family .." she said softly, breaking off with this thought.

Yawgmoth's head tilted to the left as he listened to her speak. The last few words caught his attention. "What do you mean losing more? Who have you lost?" were the first words out of his mouth. He wondered if she just said that slipping up in the language as he often did or if she had lost someone he didn't know about. He was here, that was family right? Had something happened to Aliator or another one of her friends?

She sighed lightly and stood, wandering a few steps away from him, facing the book shelf now. "You know that I have lost friends .. as for family .." she began softly, pausing and turning to face him again for a moment, but realized she could not bring herself to look at him while she shared this with him. "Several months after you left, Grandfather and Mother were no where to be found after going on a journey. A few months after that, Father and Sister too were nowhere to be found as they were searching for Grandfather and Mother. To this day they are all four missing still." she concluded finally, pausing a moment again before looking over her shoulder to him again with a sorrowful expression, though she again turned away. "It has been so long, it slipped my mind to even consider telling you, though when I thought of it, I assumed you would either not care or make a statement that they are either dead or captured .. which I already realize." she said softly, turning again now to face him, nodding her head.

The large man moved his arm around her much smaller form and hugged her tightly. He had met Brom many times and the dragon too. He held a sort of respect for them as they had held for him. "The realization of loss is often the most painful, we're sorry to hear that...we won't tell you what you already know or at least what is most likely." he responded with a bit of a sigh. "It pains us to know that in our selfish quest for power, which we remind you is just...who we are unfortunately, we were gone when you needed us the most. But those days are gone, we will not be leaving you again less we finally die. We have lived to see the rise and fall of empires and the birth and death of whole worlds and systems. We doubt our time is anytime soon. We promise you that."

"I have shared this news with very few. Only Ali, really. Though I knew it would be somewhat futile as I know how much he dislikes dragons." she said softly as she leaned against him. "I would have been very happy to have your words of comfort then, yes, though I am just fine now as I was then. The thought of they dying or going missing has always been a possibility, in my mind. It is not easy to accept as truth now, despite my attempts to assure myself that this is alright because it could have happened." she said softly, pondering a moment and turning to look up at him again for a moment before slowly twisting herself in her arms, hugging him in return. "I love you, I am so very happy you are home. My worries for a long while was that I would never see any of you again. If for nothing more, I wished for closure. Now I have it with you."

Shaking his head gently back and forth he disagreed "We don't believe you have it yet. Not until you find out for sure what happened to all of them. We'll be here to help you though. We do hope, for your sake, that perhaps they're still able to be saved or return or whatever. Should news turn out for the worst, we will be here for support as we should have been before." he replied firmly kissing the top of her head. "We promise" he reassured her. He thought about things for a moment before choosing his words. "Is there anything else to tell us? Anything else that has troubled you since our departure." he questioned since she'd admitted hiding this from him for a little bit since he got here. He didn't want there to be any secrets between them, his blunt honesty and her naivety in the beginning had kept that premise.

"Nothing as paramount as this. I am a stronger person from all of these experiences, despite wishing they had not happened." she said softly, continuing to hold him close to her. Rather suddenly, she laughed a bit. "Well, that and there was a short time that I thought it would have been nice if we had a child together .. a child would have been lovely company at home with your absence, especially since I was not sharing with anyone else that you were gone." she said as she reached up and touched his face, pulling him toward her, wanting to kiss. "That feeling has passed, though I see this as a movement toward having confidence to bear a child some day."

And kiss her did, as he did last night as he'd wanted to the moment he saw her, softly peeling his lips from her own he spoke. "Mmm we suppose that shouldn't be too far away. Every other test of our relationship has survived. A child we can both handle. We're positive. Someday when you're sure you're ready, we will try for one." he said stroking her cheek lightly.

"Even in those moments .. I still worry for the idea of what may happen to a child I were to bear." she said softly, looking up to him with a calm expression, her blue eyes pleading for understanding. It was her genes, her very essence that she was concerned for with passing on to another being. Having lived through so many challenges, she worried that any children she may bear would resent this. "Such thoughts .. I always return to one thought .. well, one feeling truly .. and this is my love for you."
