Now . . . if only I had something meaningful to say other than to shower you with (in)appropriate affections . . . sweatdrop

True, my response didn't really lend itself to furthering the conversation.
I ditto that one, friend, so we could just devolve into emotes until one of us has something to say, as per the usual. mrgreen

Not only does it have giant robots and a fair amount of pseudo-science . . . it has "Rokketu-Punchu!!!"

Dang. Not just the Rocket Punch, but G Gundam style cockpits and GLaDOS! From that trailer alone, I'm pretty hyped.

Yes, it is unclear how GLAYDoS got into the film . . . but I have heard one theory that the guys making the film said
"Wouldn't that be funny if I did this?" "Dude! Do it!" "Why not . . . I wonder if anybody will notice" ~~~~trailer comes out~~~~ Oh yeah. We noticed!!!
And I love the explanation for the multiple pilots. It has been explained that driving the robot is too much strain for a simple human brain, so at least two are mentally linked to carry the weight.

*facepalm* Wow... Well, here's hoping it's a meaningful performance (and doesn't go evil).
Interesting, and it makes enough sense. Some anime have done multi-pilot mecha, though their explanations run the gamut.

Yeah, well, I am not expecting shakespeare here . . . what we are talking about is a new take on Godzilla movies.
On a different note, just shared this on facebook . . . It’s a phenomenon called sonoluminescence. Sonoluminescence is a physical occurrence by which sound turns into light. Scientists have been trying for 70 years to explain it, but have had no success. No one has managed to explain how a bubble of air in water can focus sound to cause light, but it happens.

Yes, it's all within context.
*Wikipedia ahoy* Huh, that's very interesting! I've never heard of that before, and some of the theories that explain it are a good read.

[R]EvolutionIt reads to me like a variant of X-men and Heroes. I like what I have seen thus far.
