Okuur begins to walk away from the open patch of grass and Ferraku eager to learn more techniques scurries behind him, after only a few minutes of walking Okuur stops right next to a large pond. Ferraku is enthralled with jy thinking Okuur is going to teach him a water jutsu now. "Am I going to learn Suiton Suiryudan, or Suiton Suijenhenki?" Ferraku asks with excitement. Okuur chuckles lightly, "You may be talented, but jutsus like that are way above your level. Your going to learn to walk on water, not as cool as the other ones, but it'll serve you well. No hand signs are required for this, carefully mold chakra on the bottoms of your feet and walk on the water slowly." Okuur tells him, but before he is finished saying walk on the water slowly, Ferraku has chakra on his feet and is leaping into the pond. Water splashes upward, as the water comes near Okuur he puts his hand up stopping all the water that would of got him wet. Ferraku's head bursts up from beneath the water. "Maybe I will go a little slower this time." Ferraku says, mocking himself in a way. "Yea, that might be a good idea." Okuur says, annoyed by his stupidity. Ferraku closes his eyes and stands above the pond, he focuses his chakra letting it collect on the bottom of his feet. He then closes his eyes and without looking he gently takes one step onto the water, his foot sinks in a little bit, but he maintains balance as he sets his other foot gently on the surface of the water. He raises his arms up in accomplishment and almost immediately after he falls into the pond. He swims to the surface quickly, he lets out a few light coughs from the water he swallowed due to his unexpected falls. He places his arms on the edge of the pond and musters his strength pulling himself up onto the ledge. He then realizes he has to maintain deep focus the entire time he is standing on the water. He keeps his eyes open this time and molds chakra onto his feet till it is thick and balanced. He then takes one step onto the water, and quickly after he follows suit with his other foot. He grins, but remains focus. He feels his balance start to falter, he clenches his hands in the sign of the tiger and molds additional chakra onto his feet. He then completely surfaces both his feet and begins to slowly walk on the pond while remaining in a state of deep focus. After a solid minute of walking he eases his mind, and he realizes once you get the hang of it, it is not very hard. He walks normally stepping up onto the ledge. "How was that Okuur Sama?" Ferraku asks. Okuur nods to him signaling he has done a good job. "The ninja world is now yours to take, so get to the ceremony and they will give you your headband, you have officially passed your exams. Ferraku takes off across the pond needing no prep time to do it, he runs through the academy training grounds until he reaches the main building, he slows his pace as he enters the building, but retains a hasty walk s he travels through the halls of the academy. He enters his classroom to see all the headbands set upon a table. He realizes that the ceremony has yet to begun, he grabs a headband anyway. He then takes the back door out of the classroom to elude anyone who he might get in trouble from.

Isoga wanders into the Weight section of the Academy. He looks around at all the other people in the area lifting weights. He decides he will join them and sets his bag down. He ruffles through his bag and pulls out a head band. He puts it on his head and walks over to the one arm weight lifting section. He looks through the weights in the area, and decides to start small. He grabs the thirty pound weights and begins to crunch them. He keeps on lifting them while he runs through a chapter in his book. After he does about 20 crunches, he puts them down and picks up a heavier pare. He grabs the 40 pound weights and begins to lift them. He focuses solely on lifting the weights this time, instead of remembering some chapters in his book. He finishes with these weights, and moves on to heavier ones. 50 pound weights this time. He places them down and moves his arms a around a little. He walks over to the bench pressing area and gets himself a spotter. He lays down and begins to lift 200 pounds. He does this with little difficulty but his spotter keeps yelling at him to continue. Isoga looks up at the spotter with a serious face. "Shut up...your not helping..." The spotter instantly shuts up and looks away from Isoga, not wanting to make eye contact with Isoga. Isoga chuckles as he keeps lifting the weights. He finishes them and moves on to heavier weights. 220 pounds this time. He lifts them with the same difficulty as the last. He doesnt even finish them before he changes them. "Hey man you should finish your reps before changing." "Ill do what i please, your not my mother kid." His spotter shrugs and Isoga places 30 more pounds onto the bar and lays down. He takes it off its place and begins to lift it. He has difficulty with this, but not much. He finishes it and The Spotter gets ready. As he gets ready, Isoga is already leaving. "H..HEY WAIT-.....not fair..." Isoga chuckles and heads out to the target dummies for kunai and shuriken throwing...but he will use Senbon needles instead of kunai or shuriken.

Isoga walks to the throwing range area and prepares himself to throw his Senbon needles at the dummies. Everyone around him uses Shurikens and Kunais, so he is the odd man out. He twiddles with the Senbon needle in his hand with his fingers, and decides where he will hit. He stops twiddling with it and prepares himself. "Ill hit both of the dummies eyes." He throws one of his Senbon needles, then quickly throws another. They both his directly at where the pupil would be on a humans face. Everyone around him is amazed at how precise his hit was. He looks around and challenges one of the best throwers in the area. They both take aim at one of the targets bulls eye, and throw there weapons. The opponents Shuriken hits the bulls eye a little low. Isogas Senbon needle hits it dead on. Isoga then picks the next spot as the edge of the target boards left side. Isoga throws his Senbon needle, and its it. The opponent, throws his shuriken. To bad the Shurikens blade is bigger then the Senbon needles tiny point. It sticks but falls out. Isoga grins in joy and grabs his needles. He puts them in his bag and walks off towards home.

Sakazuki smiled contently, envisioning the moment when she and the ‘hindrance’ would meet again. However, another matter soon arose within her. Her eyes moved to her new partner, Etheldreda. The problem. Well, perhaps ‘problem’ was too harsh a term. It was more so a question of honor that she was not sure how to deal with. Say she and Zenia were to brawl once again, would Sakazuki have been allowed to use the Grimoire for assistance? She was, after all, just a book… Just as much of a weapon as the other brawler’s strange jackhammer device, right? The Circe mentally shook her head. No. It was wrong to merely classify her partner as merely a book in human guise, right? That was incorrect. She was a person and thus she deserved to be treated as one!

The chill passed through Shuku’s form as well, causing a soft gasp to escape her as part of her became erect. She ignored the feeling however and instead, called to Mei. “Too bad you can’t make it a hot spring, ne?” She mused jokingly before she finally pulled Katsu to her side before she walked, leading the girl with her into the waist deep water… Or at least wait deep for the Mayonaka. Certainly, the proportions would be different for Katsu. Her and Mei’s suspicions however had been spot on. Whereas above the water it was chilly, below it, was effing freezing at the moment. However, even in that case, Shuku decided to grit her teeth and bear with it. They needed a bath. All of them. Especially after their last affair.

The answer was forgivable, but if she had not been restraining herself, Airi would’ve certainly frowned. To think, that Alice had been away for that long. She had been about ready to ask for the precise length of time that she had been away from home, but that, she declared, might’ve been a touchy subject. Thus, she allowed Alice’s change of the subject. “Just a couple minutes longer. We don’t want it boiling, but we don’t want it to be boring and warm either,” she replied quietly as she ran a hand along her outfit to keep her uniform… Well, uniform! Wrinkles were unacceptable, even when her Master wasn’t watching.

The kiss heated up and Menace found herself breaking the lock on her self control. Even if her mind protested, her body, even if it was Melona’s, certainly wanted this. Gelatinous arms soon wrapped around the dark skinned form, pulling the exotic flesh against her as dark breasts met brighter, pink ones. Soon, as if remaining still was not enough, they began to shift. Menace felt her back bump into one desk, the metal sinking slightly into her new form to the point where it didn’t seem to mind her much, especially since she was already much more focused on the body that was against her body… Though it was her body that was against her body… No. That didn’t sound right! Ugh! This was getting complicated!

Even if their forms had seemingly switched, their brains had not.

A hiss escaped Echidna as well. Even if she was skilled in combat, she was not utterly immune to pain. A girl who could control the density of her bones could even make the simplest blow utterly hellish for her, and after that last brusque moment of contact, the point of impact ached slightly. She too, retreated as soon as the assault was repelled, though her sight had yet to recover. Another blow followed and a fist (or was it a foot?) pressed against her gut, but as soon as she felt contact, Echidna utilized her reflexes, moving back with the blow, forcing her back further.

Sure, she lost ground, but in exchange, she had lessened the blow. That didn’t mean it didn’t hurt though. Quite the contrary actually.

“Idiot, that isn’t even how you reserve a room…” Neru mumbled quietly as she stared at Miku as if she were an idiot. Most people had to politely ask for a room and hope that there was an opening, but here Miku came, verbally waltzing her way into the system of the hotel to earn herself a room. Then again, it was a room for all of them, but still, some irritation remained. A celebrity could evidently get herself anything, now couldn’t she? With that, she reclaimed her phone, pocketing it instantly.

Pan let out a huff as she stared at her innards. Where as V-13 had been clean and orderly, the older model was more… Cramped and compact. After all, her model had been built almost entirely for the sake of shock resistance. Yet nowadays, it seemed that factories could produce an android with just as much plating, but with a lightly and even more durable metal too. In a way, Pan felt archaic, antiqueish… She felt like… A veteran. Her eyes darted upwards, looking towards V-13 for several moments, solely because she felt the attention she was receiving. Usually, most comrades would look away, as if it were something that despite being publicly accepted, it was better to do in the privacy of one’s own barracks… Thus, V-13’s gaze was somewhat different. “Have you never seen this before?”

Shouko laughed quietly for several more moments, allowing it to lighten her spirits, though it did little to lighten her body mass. She took a deep breath, and then looked up. “Well, we’d might as well continue… We can break again soon,” she muttered, but paused quietly as she turned towards the trunk of the tree, noticing something that she hadn’t before. A hole? A miniature cave within the wood. Yet… What did that spell out for her? An animal den? Or perhaps a possible growing place for truffles?!

Honehime hopped back nimbly, breathing hard from that sudden rush of attacks she had launched. She stared at Echidna, waiting to see what her teacher would do next, waited to see how she would react. She knew the sap wouldn't obscure Echidna's vision for much longer, there probably would not be another opportunity for an attack before she cleaned her face off. If Honehime were to try to attack now, there was a high chance that she would be caught before she could strike, and then they would wind up where they were before, grappling upon the ground. As that last time had shown, that was not a good place for the young Kaguya to be, Echidna had too many advantages in a situation like that. So she needed to make sure that she only closed to melee range for strikes, and didn't stay long within her teacher's grasp. Otherwise, it would all be over. She was realistic enough to know her chances were slim no matter what she did, but playing right into Echidna's hands would be pure folly.

With that last question answered, a companionable silence filled the air. Lieselotte looked around their camp once more, and again wondered where everyone had gone off to. In the end, she decided to try to not worry about it, they were all capable of taking care of themselves, probably. The ditzy cow girl, probably not. But the others at least. She idly slid her plate a little further away, and stretched out a little, leaning back and supporting herself with her elbows as she sighed softly. It was a pleasant enough morning, with just a hint of a chill in it. They could probably make good time if they actually resumed their journey today. She wasn't sure of their exact destination, but she hadn't thought it too far, from the way that Honehime had made it sound. Then again, with Honehime gone, could they even continue on, without their guide?

Katsu slipped into the water alongside Shuku, seemingly oblivious to the cold. She wasn't, it just took her a moment to notice it since she was half asleep. Her eyes shot open wide and her movements grew sparse, as each time she moved a limb through the chill water, it felt like she was sliding it through a pile of ice. Even with her wool, it was freezing! Even with the two warnings in front of her, Mei was oblivious. Unlike the others' much more sensible idea of walking into the river, she jumped in. A large splash which luckily avoided Shuku and Katsu, then nothing. She was standing stock still, as if the water had actually frozen Mei. Finally, between chattering teeth, Mei exclaimed. "It's c-c-c-cold-d-d-d-d!" Her arms wrapped around her again, before she made her way to the side of the river, and fumbled with a finger in the mud. It seemed that the shock of cold had shocked her mind into working out a possible solution. But with her body as cold as it was, it was taking her longer to actually set it up.

Zenia shifted slightly in her position as she felt her muscles begin to tense up a little from the extended time she was spending in this relatively awkward position. Slowly, being careful to move as slow and steady as possible, she began moving. Trying to do everything she could to avoid detection, while at the same time still moving, she shifted until she was actually sitting cross legged on the tree branch, balancing carefully with one hand clenched around a branch near her shoulder. From here, she couldn't see as much of the camp site below her, but it was vastly more comfortable. She didn't usually cater to her comforts during a mission, but she had known that if she hadn't moved, she likely would have pulled a muscle or something else to similarly put her in a bad form for if combat were to break out. after all, just because they hadn't noticed her yet, there was no guarantee they wouldn't notice her later.

Melona, in Menace's body, continued to maintain her kiss with Menace, in her body. She could feel what would normally be her own cool, gelatinous flesh in a whole new way, from the outside, and shivered slightly, the cool flesh causing her borrowed body to react in a noticeable way. She held herself tightly to Menace, no, Melona, pressing their bodies together tightly. They had come to rest against the side of a desk, so they seemed more or less trapped where they were as they continued to become more and more intimate with one another. Already, the serafuku they had found were immodestly out of place, revealing glimpses of tantalizing flesh each time their hands roamed over each other amorously. Finally, she broke the kiss, spurred on by her need for air, something that was still somewhat new to her, although her current body was used to the need.

Alice felt that Airi just might have asked a further question of her, were it not for her timely subject change. She didn't have anything to hide from her new friend, but she was feeling somewhat embarrassed by so much attention on her past. As Airi told her the soup was almost ready, she looked around once more, while taking a deep breath, inhaling the savory scent of the freshly made soup. She could hardly wait to see how it turned out. Thinking of that pointed out one other task they could do while waiting for the soup to finish, though. She continued to look around, but couldn't see what she was looking for. Since this was the kitchen Airi knew well, surely she would know where to look. Turning back to her maid friend, she asked if they should get the bowls and spoons ready while they waited. It seemed a sensible enough idea, they didn't seem to have anything else to do to get the soup ready, just wait for it.

Haku remained silent as she watched Miku manage to get a reservation. Neru was right, she hadn't quite gone about it the right way, but it had worked, so she didn't think there would be a problem. It seemed Neru wasn't going to press the issue either. With the newly affirmed promise of a soft bed waiting for her, she had apparently decided she could be generous and not scold Miku any more than that brief mutter as she had reclaimed her phone. Haku looked ahead, and could see they were near the edge of the forest, just a little bit more and they would be back within the village, and on their way to the hotel. She didn't know where it was, if she would have had to find it on her own, it was doubtful if she would have succeeded. Luckily it wouldn't come down to that, between Miku and Neru, they could surely get their without trouble. It wouldn't be that much longer before they were safely settled in, she hoped.

V-13's irises flared out widely, and then back to their standard width as she seemed to snap back to full awareness. "Umm, uh, yes, sir!" she saluted again out of instinct, and then re-played the last few seconds of memory, to see what she was actually asked. A faint tinge still lightened her cheeks, now from seeming embarrassment over her lapse. "Er, that is, no, I don't believe I have, sir. All of the others from my unit are from the later generations, all of the seasoned soldiers like yourself have already earned ranking positions or been assigned elsewhere." She left out the third option, that some of them had been destroyed in battle, and unable to be repaired. What she had said was true. Even if units like Pan were not the most technologically advanced, they possessed a wealth of real-time experience. Sure, their memories of past battles could be downloaded and used to create training regimens for the new soldiers, but that real experience won out every time. So even if their hardware was dated, they were still invaluable to the command system. Some had volunteered to be refitted, but the clash of new technology to old proved problematic. So they remained as they were, reminders of the past, still full of potential for the future. Even so, they did not seem to mingle well with the new recruits, both because they had already gained rank over them, and also because it was good strategy to have units that could work to the same level in the same unit. The older units could measure up against the newest soldiers easily, especially in tactics. But their overall strengths and weaknesses were a little different from the newer models, and that could elad to discrepancies in judgment, poor battle tactics. So it was fairly rare for newer units to mingle with older units, just out of routine.

Etheldreda first felt a sense of contentment and peace come over the bond she shared with Sakazuki. A moment later, that sense turned to worry. Since they had just been speaking of Zenia's reappearance, it wasn't very difficult to guess the probable cause of her worry. She looked straight into Sakazuki's eyes, and spoke seriously. "Do not worry. Whenever Zenia chooses to reappear and attack, I shall be there to protect you." Of course that wasn't quite what Sakazuki had been worried about, but she had almost gotten it right. After all, decades of isolation could leave one a little clueless to the intricacies of social situations and things like that. And she had been even more firmly isolated, and for a much longer stretch of time. The fact that she had already acclimatized herself even this much was in itself pretty impressive.

Dizzy nodded, and straightened up, stretching slightly as she tried to limber herself up for the next round of climbing. This high, the branches were still fairly broad and numerous, so it wouldn't be quite as difficult as the first leg of the endeavor. She paused when she saw Shouko inspecting the tree, wondering if she saw something. She hadn't noticed anything out of the ordinary, but then again, she hadn't been specifically looking for anything out of the ordinary, either. She moved closer, being careful not to crowd Shouko, to give her room to move if she needed to. "Did you find something?" She craned her neck to the side to try to peer over Shouko's shoulder. But from where she was standing, all she could really see was a shadow in the tree's trunk. Perhaps a pit, or maybe a squirrel's nest or something. She would have tow ait to see what was there, when Shouko would reveal it's nature.

Miku flinched as Neru fussed at her. She looked to Haku, but she seemed to agree. Miku pouted lightly and looked down innocently. "I'm sorry. I could always call them back and cancel the reservation and then try to check back in when we get there if that'll make it better..." With her tone, you could tell she really thought that maybe that would put them back on their good sides.

“Eh? You protect me?” Sakazuki couldn’t help but appear amused by Etheldreda’s words. A playful smirk made it’s way the Circe’s face as she moved onto all fours, crawling towards the book for a moment before she poked Etheldreda’s cheek with a single finger. “Even if I believe that you are fully capable of doing so, I don’t want to risk you wasting your powers in such affairs,” she mused as she moved onto her knees in front of the Grimoire, a look of concern having briefly inhabited her face before it once again faded back into a smile. “Besides… If I lose, then I’ll risk losing you wont I, Etheldreda?”

The Mayonaka chuckled at the sight of Katsu’s alertness as she seemingly kept her composure for the sake of merely spiting the girl. As her breasts stiffened slightly and tiny bumps appeared along her skin, it was quite evident that she too, was suffering from the cold. Her composure was finally broken when Mei utterly cannonballed into the water, sending it splashing within all directions. She was about to shout and scold the cowgirl for her actions, though as she stared at the now chattering Mei, she realized that the water and cold was already punishment the large breasted girl on Shuku’s part. She then watched as Mei retreated back to shore. Even as Shuku’s own teeth began to shadow, she seemed to gather the gall to speak. “S- S- S- So how about heating up the water?” She whispered. “Can alchemy do th- th- that?”

A nod came as a silent response to the little girl as the offer to get out the dishes were suggested. Now that the brother was complete, she applied the chicken and anything else, realizing that the noodles would finish cooking even after the stove had been turned off. Moving to check on the chicken that had been cooking for their salad, Airi soon finished her business with that as well, chopping up the bird before throwing it’s pieces into their big bowl of veggies. With that, she turned towards Alice, looking to see if anything had been accomplished.

Menace moaned out into their linked mouths, but she too, was beginning to realize how odd it all felt. She was used to blushing at this point, having her hot skin tended to by Melona’s cool form… Yet now the feeling had been reversed. She blushed, but now, her gelatinous form did not convey heat so well as it did cold as she felt her goopiness The kiss was broken and Melona… No, Menace, stared at the body that was no longer hers for the moment. As if Melona’s stamina had transferred onto Menace as well, she smirked, as if breath was no longer an issue for her. She leaned forward while her opponent was caught off guard, sucking and nipping at the now exposed neck before her lips and mouth soon assaulted the bits that the seifuku could no longer cover.

Becoming Melona had certainly made her bold!

Honehime seemed to change up her attack plan, lessening her time within Echidna’s sphere of influence. Taking one of the moments that Honehime had seemingly granted her, she allowed her hands to swipe over her eyes and with a flick of her wrist, sent any sap that had been collected by the sweeping finger splashing to the floor. Sight returned to her and she gazed at the Kaguya with an amused, almost proud look for several long moments. Soon, she made her move, lunging forward as she made a grab for Honehime. Evidently, Echidna also realized that taking the battle to the ground could give her an advantage too.

Initially, it had taken Pan several moments to process whether she had been complimented or insulted, but by the end of the scan, the majority seemed to be attempting to prove the latter false, and rather than revolt against it, she accepted that a complement was the better case. However, V-13 had apparently not stopped there as she continued on, comparing Pan to the fate that had accompanied many of those androids that had fought during her own time. Immediately, the robot found herself recalling several images she kept zipped within her memory chips… Images taken from those days upon the battlefield. It was nostalgic in a way that nearly depressed the veteran. “That’ll suffice,” she soon muttered, having no desire to hear whatever else the new mdoel had thought about when it came to Pan’s generation.

Shouko didn’t answer right away and seemed to be staring at the hole with great mental conflict. She knew the possible hazards that could await her if she was stupid enough to stick her hand in there… Yet, if that’s the sort of conditions where truffles grew, then it was worth the risk, right? Experimentally, she knocked on the wood around the hole for a moment, then backed away slightly. She was about to lean forward and knock for a second time, but a sudden chatter answered her. Something was definitely in there!

Honehime watched as Echidna wiped the sap off of her face, and knew that she had made the right decision. If she had charged in again, Echidna would have had her sight back before they met, and would have had a perfect chance to catch her once more. She braced herself as Echidna rushed forward, coming right at her. She raised her hand almost as if to ward Echidna off, but instead, small pellets of bone fired from her fingertips. Another of her Kaguya abilities, this one wasn't fully mastered yet, so they didn't travel particularly fast. Perhaps on par with throwing a handful of pebbles or small stones at Echidna. Even so, it might prove enough of a distraction to fend off this latest attack. She prepared to leap to the side if Echidna kept coming. It probably wouldn't be enough to totally avoid her teacher's attack, but hopefully the brunt of it would be avoided, at least.

She stifled a yawn, trying to quash the desire to sleep for a little bit. There was still plenty of daylight left, they really should try to get started sooner rather than later, unless they wanted to make very little progress before nightfall. She didn't even know why she really cared so much about their task, it didn't directly affect her in the slightest if they ever found Mandrake or not. Then again, she didn't know the reason behind a lot of ehr actions of late, and that in itself was pretty worrisome. She had always been a fairly logical person, relying on facts rather than feelings to make decisions. If that aspect of her was changing, then she didn't know what to expect anymore.

Even she was smart enough to realize that as clumsy as she was, she'd bite her tongue if she were to talk now. Instead, she only gave an uncertain nod of her head, then returned to what she had been doing, trying to inscribe a series of lines into the mud at the side of the river. It wasn't easy, she kept having to fix it when a particularly strong shiver made the line turn out badly. But finally, she got it. Smiling in hopeful relief, she reluctantly pulled her other hand away from her body, and activated the array. For a moment, nothing happened. Then the now familiar light would flare up, as faint electric crackles could be seen dancing along the water, a ticklish sensation to the cold-numbed bodies within it. Moments later, they would feel a blessed rise in the temperature of the water. not to hot tub standards, but it could be called warm, at least.

Zenia continued to watch, her new vantage point meant that she had to focus harder than before to even have a chance at reading their lips. Thankfully, it seemed the trio's conversation had reached a pause, the three of them had gone silent, though it would likely not last for long. She slowly let herself sink back, resting her back against the tree's trunk as she got a quick moment of rest for her already growing weary muscles. She watched idly as Sakazuki and the newcomer seemed to face off. They didn't appear to be enemies, it seemed more a friendly act rather than anything else. So Sakazuki was close to that girl as well? Would she be a part of their battle also? Zenia looked over Etheldreda, but wasn't very impressed with what she saw. She didn't look like a fighter at all, even less so than any of the others. So there was nothing to worry about, even if the new girl was a part of the fighting, it wouldn't change anything that she could imagine.

Melona, no, Menace, gasped for air after their lips separated; this need to breathe was a lot more of a nuisance than she would have thought! Distracted by her new need for oxygen, she was taken by surprise when Menace, no, Melona, already moved to continue her assault. Lips, cool and resilient like a waterbed or slim mounds of jelly, brushed and nibbled at the sensitive skin of her neck, and Melona, no, Menace, felt goosebumps pop up all along her lightly bronzed skin. Shivering slightly at the pleasantly ticklish sensation, she restrained a series of giggles, her whole body shivering from their effect. This shivering was magnified in some regions, most especially her chest, virtually bare, the poor serafuku already slid out of place to reveal tantalizing flesh that normally lay hidden from sight. A hand reached out to hold Menace, no Melona's head to her, she wanted more of the deliciously ticklish and erotic sensation, she wanted to enjoy this body for as long as she had it!

Alice smiled with the simple joy of being given another task to do to help, showing that in some ways, she was very much still a young child. She had grown up fast by necessity, but there were parts to her that were still as a normal girl would be. So she eagerly dug out a pair of bowls, then some silverware, napkins and glasses. She debated grabbing chopsticks, but decided against it. If they were eating ramen, perhaps. But chicken noodle soup was traditionally eaten with a spoon. Occasionally a fork as well if it was a hearty soup, thick with larger vegetables and meat. Once she had fetched everything that would be needed, she carried it over to the indicated place, before carefully setting it all down. Despite carrying what looked like a very large armload of very breakable objects, she hadn't faltered or slipped even once.

Haku could see that their slight chastisement had saddened Miku, and frowned a little herself. She hadn't wanted to upset her friend. She stepped forward and awkwardly put an arm around Miku in a one-armed hug. Even though she was definitely more at ease around her friends, anything even close to a public display of affection, like a hug, was pretty rare from the shy Haku. She had an embarrassed blush on her cheeks, and only kept the hug for a moment before releasing Miku and stepping back, her cheeks still bright pink. She looked down at the ground, unable to actually tell Miku not to worry about it. It had worked out, that was the important thing. Calling again would only make it more complicated, so they should just let it go and be glad they had soft beds to look forward to. She could tell that Neru was feeling more or less the same too, dropping any further chastisement in favor of anticipating their beds. They had actually slipped back into the village already, and Haku felt her nervousness grow, as she could tell that there were other people around. Hopefully they reached the hotel soon!

V-13 cut off after the last sentence was uttered, setting aside the rest of her comments on what she had been asked. She realized that perhaps she had been too frank, had perhaps said too much, and sent a data packet to her logistics center to be wary of such for future reference. After all, as had just been proven, such behavior seemed to bother others to some degree, and she didn't want that. Instead, she finally sat up from the workshop table, hoping that with an end to that aspect of their conversation, it was also an end to her maintenance and inspection. She tried to avoid staring at Pan, but with her superior officer standing so close she could hardly avoid looking at her, outside of some overly noticeable act of craning her head far to the side or something equally rude. So she sat still, and tried not to make a further spectacle of herself. So far, her running review of her daily performance was even worse than usual. For the standard obstacles, she had done as poorly as ever. Then she had been apparently taken over by some unseen entity. And now she had acted rudely to her superior officer during maintenance time. This was one of her worst reviews tht she could recall, making her even more convinced that she would be heading for the scrap heap soon enough.

After having her cheek poked, Etheldreda turned her head away, a faint uncharacteristic blush on her cheeks. Had she actually gotten embarrassed? Before that, she had seemed so serious, but it seemed that she had an emotional side, too. She didn't answer for a moment, but then finally did, in a voice a bit quieter than she usually spoke in. "Well, yes, that's true..." And it was. During her long existence, other Masters had lost her. Some had simply had her taken away by a new Master, others had gotten into a bad situation and lost their lives as well. Still others had used her as a weapon, used her up until she had gave out, and 'died'. Technically, she couldn't truly die, her book would return some time in the future to begin the whole cycle over and over again. Over the centuries, she had been betrayed, and had betrayed, she had killed and had been killed. And the saga would never end.

Dizzy continued to look, to try to see what had so completely gained Shouko's attention. It did seem to be that spot on the tree, but from where she was perched, she wasn't at the right angle to see any more than just that, a spot. She could hear the chitter, though. Having lived in the forest for as long as she had, it wasn't a foreign or mysterious sound in the least. With the sound, came recognition. Now she could see that the spot was actually a hole going into the tree. Likely a squirrel, though a chipmunk or other small rodent was a distinct possibility. She wanted to urge Shouko to be careful, but amusement at the idea of having to be careful of a squirrel stopped her. After all, squirrels were not dangerous, unless you made one really, really mad. And even then, they would only lash out as a last resort, to create an opportunity to escape. So Shouko wasn't in any danger, at least none that she recognized.

Miku smiled while Haku hugged her (as awkward as it was, but still a sweet gesture that would rarely be shown to any one else) and respectively refrained from snuggling Haku (after all, it was embarrassing enough for Haku with the one arm thing). As soon as she saw they were back in town, she recognized "landmarks" and immediately pin-pointed which direction they should go. "This way~!" She turned and half jogged in the direction of their hotel, headed towards one of the tallest buildings in the town near the academy. Even she was excited to get to sleep in a bed. After all, the last few nights she'd been sleeping in the academy. It'd be nice to get to sleep in a nice bed tonight.

Even as Lieselotte moved off behind them to retrieve more food, Sakazuki’s attention remained on Etheldreda for a moment. Eventually, she crawled forward several steps so that her head would be several centimeters above the shoulder of the Grimoire as she smiled. “I won’t let anything happen to you,” She mused childishly, her expression shifting into one that seemed utterly amazed that she could say such a cheesy line without breaking into a chuckling fit. Yet, the truth was… The witch could never have been more serious in her words.

Shuku watched as the chattering chimera got to work, tracing out her circle in the mud. Several minutes later, the familiar cracking filled there air and sparks shot amongst the surface of the water. For a moment, she debated on fleeing, afraid that the sparks would have some correlation to actual electricity and be of a threat to her… However, it appeared that the lightshow did no such thing, much to the Mayonaka’s relief. Soon enough however, she proved to be the first, along with Katsu to be able to reap the benefits of the steadily warming water. Her body stopped chattering then…. For now.

As Alice prepped the table, Airi observed her for a moment, soon adding the salad before she returned to the soup, which was still simmering for several moments, steam wafting from the top of the pot and a white cloud of steam with it. The aroma caressed her sense of smell as she donned mittens, then gripped the metal handles of the pot, taking in a sharp breath before a huff escaped her, the maid carrying the liquid filled pot from the stove to the center of the table where a coaster of sorts had been placed in the center. She placed the silver pot down then fetched a ladle to go with it. “Are we all set, little chef Alice?”

That mouth, so far, seemed to be Menace’s… No, Melona’s, main weapon at the moment as she used her teeth to assault practically every inch of exposed flesh, including the more… curvaceous bits, which were becoming more accessible as the defenses of the ‘seifuku barrier’ were slowly brought down inch by inch. As hands roamed, they slipped along like a liquid, the girl evidently still trying to get used to this body… After all, Melona (when it was back in her control) had been able to do all sorts of tricks with this body! Menace wanted to do just that! Soon, she allowed her hand to form into a true hand for a moment as she undid several buttons, finally deciding to open the gates of the annoying blouse, her mouth beginning to suckle more than kiss now at the revealed mounds before that hand retreated between her own pair of slime legs, gingerly touching the place in between. She was evidently trying to work on something… Perhaps achieve what Melona had done back in the ‘bedroom’?

In one moment, Echidna took note of several white dots flying towards her, and the next, she was reeling backwards, a hiss escaping her. The ranged attack had met it’s mark, but as Echidna glared at the Kaguya, it appeared that it had achieved to do more irritation rather than actually damage. The bullets had hit her, but failed to break skin… They were like rubber bullets, but with much less force behind them… However, they still hurt like a ******** b***h. She stared at Honehime, slightly irritated with herself for forgetting that Kaguya’s had such capabilities.

Still… It was something that could help on the battlefield.

Neru groaned, a mix of slight joy and pure irritation as Miku jogged off into the direction of the hotel. Jogging… Why did she have to be jogging? It required so much more effort! It was faster than walking, yes, but ********… Jogging… She groaned, then mimicked the action, following after her leek spinning, melody singing clan mate. In the distance, she spied a building that shot upwards towards the sky, one that if she were to not examine closely, would’ve almost seemed to scrape the Heavens. “Is that our place, Miku?” She mumbled.

Despite V-13’s utter pessimistic attitude, Pan made no response, nor did she make a sound five minutes later. She processors seemed to appear at hard work, a hum escaping her lips… One that would later prove to be her internal fans as she recalled several specific moments from her old comrades… Her first battle… Her most recent one, the likes. Eventually, her eyes fluttered and they turned to meet those of V-13. “Do you require any further maintenance?” She inquired, her voice much more soft spoken than usual, as if her speaker had been lowered a level or two.

Meanwhile, Shouko’s mind was being a lot less… Rational, than Dizzy’s. Her thoughts roamed through the possibilities of what could be in that hole. A raccoon! A badger! A rabid squirrel! A bat! Maybe even a snake! Though… Snakes didn’t hiss… Then again, that didn’t cancel out the possibility that one could’ve been in there, collaborating with whatever had been chattering, which soon grew louder. Evidently, their presence was irritating the critter within the tree. Shouko looked over her shoulder towards Dizzy as if she were silently asking on how to deal with the matter.

Honehime's cheeks tinged pink at the unexpected compliment. She knew the praise wouldn't last long, soon they would return to their sparring battle. But even so, even that small of a compliment had been enough to make her happy. If she could do even that much, then maybe she wasn't as hopeless as she might have otherwise imagined? If that was the case, she couldn't afford to give up now, she had to keep trying! She shifted her stance, trying to anticipate just how Echidna might come at her next, and trying to work out a way to counter attack once she did. It wasn't so easy, she could spot her own weak spots easily, and she assumed Echidna could, too. There were too many to take measures to prepare for all of them being attacked, she would simply have to make a guess and hope for the best.

Lieselotte continued to nibble at her food, glancing out of the corner of her eye at Sakazuki and Etheldreda. They seemed to be having a moment, so she continued to find something else to occupy her attention, to not intrude. She set her plate down and stretched out, rolling onto her side, and subsequently a little further away from the duo. She felt content, for the first time in quite a while. she had just finished a simple but satisfying meal, and the weather was perfect. There were others around who she felt she could actually trust, so she could even take a nap if she felt like it. All in all, it was a completely different world from the one she was used to. A world of fighting and stealth, of assassinations and treachery. It was refreshing. But in the end, was it merely a vacation, or could she stay in the world of light?

It took a moment for the warmth to make it's presence known, it took even longer for it to fully leech the chill out of the bodies of the three standing in the river. But it did finally happen, much to their relief. Mei sighed happily and snuggled a little deeper into the water, crouching down so that the warm water might rise up and cover her to the neck. Katsu didn't have to crouch nearly as far, the water had already been hovering just below her chest. She seemed to luxuriate in the freshly warmed water as well, letting out a soft bleat of pleasure as she finally began to move around a bit more freely. She stayed close to Shuku, though. The cold water had woken her up utterly, and she wasn't going to miss the chance for some 'accidental' fun. She wouldn't push for a full scene, but a little fun wouldn't be too much to ask, would it?

Zenia continued to watch. Lieselotte had gotten up and moved off to the side for a moment, getting herself something to eat. At the same time, Sakazuki and Etheldreda seemed to draw closer to one another. They were either hugging or whispering something to each other. From this angle, she couldn't see either of their mouths, to know if they were talking or not. She shrugged it off as inconsequential, and returned her attention to the camp as a whole. The others were still gone, she had no way of knowing when they would return. Perhaps this moment was actually the right time to attack, before their numbers grew even larger? No, it was still not quite the right moment yet, she could feel it in her bones. She had to wait, but how much longer? She was patient, but only to a point, she would not wait forever!

Melona, no, Menace, shivered under the continued assault of her partner, who looked like she did, a while ago. Her body spasmed and jiggled with each new attack, sending waves of pleasure and jiggling flesh shaking with each crested wave. She could feel heat gather in her cheeks, and realized that she was blushing deeply as the tables were turned. As her serafuku top was undone, her chest became visible, and she shivered with mingled embarrassment and delight. Her thighs rubbed together slightly, the skin growing rosy and moistened. A hand tentatively reached out to try to return the favors Menace, no, Melona was bestowing upon her. She paused at feeling her partner, who felt like she would have. On the opposite side, she felt so different! She wanted to feel more!

Alice watched as first the salad, then the steaming pot of soup, were set upon the table. She slowly breathed in, inhaling the savory scent of the homemade soup, enjoying it immensely. Her eyes had closed during this, though they shot open again guiltily when Airi tried to get her attention. She looked around, mentally counting things off as she spotted them upon the table. Everything seemed in order, they could set down to their meal any time they wanted. She was just about to nod and say so when she realized something. The glasses were still empty. Not a huge problem, how thirsty would they really be while having soup? But to have something cool to drink along side a hot soup, that seemed important. A deep blush still on her face, Haku was caught off guard by the sudden appearance of the building. How did a building that huge hide, anyways? One second, they hadn't been able to spot it, the next, it was impossible to not see it. She had raised her gaze to look up at the building, and in that moment, Miku had broken into a jog to reach the building quicker, with Neru soon following. When Haku lowered her gaze, she was still able to see them, and began to panic a little, as she tried to run after them, to keep up and not get separated from her friends. She was no runner, her form was rather clumsy and flustered. but even so, she was able to keep them in sight, and gradually gain ground until she had almost caught up to her friends. The hotel loomed ever close, rushing in to nearly seem to tower over them like an implacable giant. She assumed it was the right building, with the way it had suddenly jumped out in front of them, what else could it be?

The continued silence did little to assuage V-13's growing sense of nervousness and trepidation. She debated asking Pan if there was anything wrong, but was too worried that the answer might be that there was something wrong, so she remained silent. Finally, she heard a soft hum, though she didn't process the sound for origin or likely cause, she knew it was from Pan. The hum grew slightly louder for a moment, and then tapered off. When Pan asked if she required further maintenance, she stopped herself from immediately replying in the negative. Such a forceful, rapid response seemed rude to the point of unforgivable, she wouldn't dare act so ungrateful to a superior officer who had just tried to help her. Instead, she debated the question seriously, thinking it over with all due concern. She didn't appear to have any actual problems, but those flaws had to be arising from somewhere! Until she, they, were able to find the cause and fix them, she couldn't trust herself to match the others of her unit in efficiency. "Sir. At this time, no further maintenance is required. Request permission for assistance with maintenance in the future, sir?" Her cheeks tinged pink at that, what had she just said? All she had wanted to say was no further maintenance was required, where had that request come from?!

Etheldreda felt the emotions through their bond, she knew that Sakazuki was speaking seriously. A tinge of pink colored her cheeks and she was forced to look away yet again, baffled by these strong emotions. They had only met, yet they had already forged a bond so strong? This was nothing like any of the Pacts she had formed in ages past, this was different to an extent that she couldn't even fathom! She didn't know what to expect, even with their bond, Sakazuki was still an unknown to her. She could sense her emotions, but she could not read her heart. She knew, irrevocably and without a doubt, that this partnership would be one of the shining examples of the Pact, one that could hopefully stand the test of time, that the two of them could remain united for their final battle, and overcome that obstacle successfully.

Dizzy continued to watch the whole as the chittering grew louder. Apparently, the squirrel; or potentially something else!; wasn't too happy about their bothering it. Perhaps they had woken it up? That could make anyone cranky, rodent or otherwise. So when Shouko turned back to glance at her, silently asking for advice, she gave a slight shake of her head. Speaking quietly, hopefully to avoid further antagonizing the small animal, she replied. "It doesn't sound very happy right now, we should just leave it alone, and get moving again. I don't think it'd start anything if we try to leave, but if we stick around, it might get angry." She was still assuming it was a squirrel, but there was always the chance that she was wrong. And some other smaller animals were noticeably more feisty than squirrels were.

Yolissa wanders into the Shinobi Academy and looks around for something to do. She decides she will go practice some moves that the Shinobi Academy has to offer her. She trots into the schools library and reads about some of the jutsus she could learn. She stops reading them after the first chapter and is already bored with it. Yolissa then heads to the outside area, where a couple trees are. She decides she will learn to run up trees. She closes her eyes and begins to focus her chakra. She moves her chakra down to her feet, and runs at the tree. Her first foot touches the tree, and she hits the tree face first. She falls down on her face, and jumps up on her feet. She holds her face in pain, some tears forming in her eyes. She then shakes her head and regains herself. She focuses her chakra, and runs at the tree again. Her first foot stays strong, but her second foot does not do so well. She falls down, but hangs upside down, hanging on her foot that is stuck to the tree. She hangs there for a bit, then loses her focus. She falls down and lands on her head. She stands back up, and rubs the back of her head. Yolissa wont give in to this stupid tree. She focuses her chakra and jumps on the tree, this time both her feet sticking. She tries to take another step, and succeeds. She then lifts her other foot off of the tree, and keeps on walking towards the top. She giggles in excitement at the thought of reaching the top, but from giggling, she falls down to the ground below. She catches herself, right before hitting the ground. She looks up at the tree and lets loose a deep sigh, then focused her chakra yet again. Yolissa then charges towards the tree, and runs up the side of the tree. She reaches the top and lets loose a yell of joy. She runs back down the tree, but gains to much speed and falls down on her face. She starts to cry a little, but stops and stands up. She wipes her face, and walks over to a bigger tree. She looks up at it, and notices its at least twice the size of the other one she ran up. She focuses her chakra and runs up the huge tree. She makes it to the same height as the other tree, but begins to fall down. She quickly refocuses her chakra, and stops sliding down the tree. She then begins to run up the tree, and reaches the top. She lets loose another call of victory, and then slides down the tree. This time she does not fall flat on her face, she made sure of that. Yolissa lands on the ground and stretches her arms and legs for a second. She takes a quick breather, then heads over to the huge tree again. She focuses her chakra and runs up the tree. She stops halfway, and stands there, testing out how long she could stay there for. She looks up at the sky, and watches as the clouds and birds float by. She stands there for 6 minutes, but ends up loosing control of her chakra and falling down. She falls down on her butt and whines a little. Yolissa stands up, dusting herself off and looks back at the tree. ".......I believe i have done enough for today..." She turns away from the tree and walks off towards the academy library for more studying.

After hearing no music for a while Eki grins sinisterly. "Now's my chance," she murmurs twirling around the wall and in front of the window. She flings herself through it as she laughs maniacally. The loud shatter of the windows rings around the room as Eki holds both her blades in her left hand, it flung behind her, as she extends her right arm towards Su in order to grab her. She grins widely before Kane sidesteps and bumps Eki of course and through another window in the room. Kane then speaks to Su as if none of that had happened at all, "Wow you really are amazing. You can play two instruments beautifully." He almost seemed like he was going to smile but does not.

Miku grinned widely and stopped when they got to the building, nodding happily. "Yep~! They said the pent house was reserved in advanced by some one else, but we'll still have a nice veiw from the room the nice man at the desk found for us At least, that's what he told me. Well, shall we go in?" She seemed pretty pleased with herself. Perhaps they would be happy that she'd done well, too.
