T i f a  Band Banquet's tonight. It's going to be so weird going to that thing as a senior...
Whoa, how did they kill the xylophone? o.oThe reverb tubes for the sharps and flats were like, sideways. The...uhh...slots that the bar they are attached to, one side of the bars was twisted out, so the other side was like, falling. It's kinda weird to explain but if you saw it you'd be like 'Ooh, weird'. Somehow managed to fix it without anyone noticing it was messed up, though. XD Speaking of band banquets...our one at the end of the season was kinda hilarious. The microphone fell out of the stand when our drum major had to tilt it down 'cause she's short... Our bari-sax player tripped on the way up for his pin... And Hartmetz somehow got the wrong pins for the seniors. o_0

I personally did not enjoy my final banquet. I really hate to say it, but I'm not going to sugar-coat my feelings. : / It had its humorous parts, but that was only temporary entertainment.

I personally did not enjoy my final banquet. I really hate to say it, but I'm not going to sugar-coat my feelings. : / It had its humorous parts, but that was only temporary entertainment. It was weird. Well, our final band-quet doesn't happen for a little while longer. DX And I just saw the musical our school put on, 'Once Upon a Mattress'. A few adlibs and some random french horn cracked notes...and some really bad puns...it was fun. XD

Our school musical has come and passed.
It was My Fair Lady and it was good, I was in the orchestra.
We have a tony awards type thing called the capital awards and we got 8 nominations.
We go best sound crew, best scenic design, best orchestra, best ensemble, best direction, best musical direction, best lead actor and best musical.
That is really good, especially for a school that isn't an arts magnet or rich with parents doing everything like hiring an orchestra and people to build sets etc.

Our banquet is on the 30th, it is going to be fun.
I gave the juniors the idea for the theme, the roaring twenties, and I already know my superlative, most likely to win the prestigious "worlds sexiest roadside mammal" award.
My class put on the best banquet EVAR last year, it rocked.
For our graduation the normal tassel is navy and kelley, honors is navy and gold and high honors is gold, NHS members get those weird cord things, ITS has purple tassels and national art honors society has rainbow tassels xD

We get a stole for NHS here. It's white, I think. I needed 15 hours of NHS community service to get that thing.

My TekTek inspiration has been very low lately. I hate it because contrary to popular belief, I don't like cosplaying all the time. I wasn't always T i f a, people; this was my third name change...^^;;;

From gnat98601 to some random shippochan thing to some Phangirl thing to this. XDD
And I cosplay as myself on this account. I have a mule and a real cosplay...neither of which I use...^^;;

Hartmetz has hopefully finalized his decision on the marching band show. Beatles. I just hope that the one song in it that sucks doesn't screw us up. DX
