Little Demon / True Demon Abilities: • Shadow Melding: While in these forms Nano is able to meld with any shadow he pleases but he is unable to attack from inside the shadows and must exit to cause harm, while inside the shadows he is able to move around the area much much faster. Nano is able to create a shadow for a brief moment if need be but they tire him out very quickly.
• Shadow Weaponry: Nano reaches into the shadows and grabs hold of some of the shadow, he then pulls it out into whatever weapon he desires it to be that is proportional to the size of his form so Little Demon weapons are much smaller than that of True Demon.
• Crescent Strike: Usually prefered to do this with a size or curved sword, Nano slashes in any direction sending out a crescent made of shadows towards the target.
• True Demon Only - Pitch Black: Raising one arm up into the air a ball of pure shadows forms in his hand and begins to channel itself, once it has fully channeled the ball explodes and surrounds the entire area in the pure blackness of Nano's shadow realm, eliminating any light that is in the area and instantly eliminating any that is forms while inside the realm, sight becomes entirely useless while this is active. Lasts four posts, channel is two posts however if Nano takes damage the channeling is canceled, two post cooldown once it ends.
╟──────────────────────╢ Allowing himself to be caught by the coils he flashed her a rather demonic looking grin fitting to his nature as they wrapped tighter around him, what fun he could have in a situation like this, so many ways to escape but did she realise this was just his weakest form? did she even know this tiny demon had other forms either way it didn't matter to him "I do hope you enjoy what is about to happen little Keiko." as soon as he finished speaking Nanos shadow became to cover his body turning what little colour he did have completely black. From the shadow shot out an arm, it was much longer, sleeker, it's claws much sharper than before with a spike shooting out from the elbow followed by the other one grabbing onto the appendage, from the amount of strength that Nano was holding it with Keiko would have a hard time pulling that one away "Little humans are always so, so fun to play with to watch as the red river gushes out into a pool." his voice now drastically different than before, to put it in one word it was evil.
The rest of the demon now climbed out from the shadow, he towered over most while in this form standing at 7'4 he stared down at the weapon with the same grin as before, his scythe now much larger, gripping it with his free hand he went to slice across Keiko's stomach.
Clenching her teeth tightly, just enough that her lip curled back, she focused on the tightening and coiling of her bladed strips for arms. He didn't even try to struggle, and that made her stomach knot up with nerves. Sure enough, he certainly did have a trick or two up his sleeve. As one appendage was grabbed by a hand of shadow, she gasped in surprise, and took a step back as if to retreat. He didn't let go, and her brows furrowed in agitation. His words didn't even register as he began to change, the scythe reappearing in his hand. She knew the only way to escape was to reform her arms as they had been, but that would also give him an opening. As she saw the blade coming right for her, she realized she had no choice.
In another flash of light the blades disappeared, and her arms were of flesh and bone once again. She leaped back, narrowing avoiding the blade of his weapon as he tore a nick in her traditional, Japanese tunic. While her expression remained relatively neutral, there was a light of analysis and anger in her eyes. He'd picked a fight with her knowing she couldn't win, and with as close as that blow had been... did he truly plan on harming her? So much for "training". Breathing heavily under her breath, she cracked her knuckles just before letting her arms lengthen back into the chain-sword form again. She took up another fighting stance, but this time she made no move to attack. Her best chance was to defend against him, and if things got too out of hand... well. She was proud, but not so stupid as to continue a fight that could very well be her end. There was too much to be done for her to die today.

╟──────────────────────╢ "Well the little human is faster than she seems, how amusing but just how long do you think you can keep up a defense against me?" He grabbed the scythe with both hands and walked towards her, he had no intentions of harming her well harming her severely anyways this was just how he was in this form, closer to his true personality from before he lost his memory. As he drew closer to the weapon his gripped his scythe tigther and wanted to test just how strong her defense was and began to wind up an attack he was intentionally giving her an opening to counter attack if she desired but if she truely wanted to block then she would be in for a very slash from the left.
Keiko didn't take too kindly to his taunting, but rather than give him the satisfaction of a response, she stayed silent and focused. Her brows knitted together firmly, lips pursed and teeth tightly clenched. She prepared her weapon arms to counter or strike, whatever she found necessary. Noticing the swing he was preparing, she shot the length of her chain-sword forward to wrap around the hilt close to the blade. She then ran around him, attempting to drag the weapon along with her, and with her second weaponized arm she looped around his horn. With two anchor points, she yanked hard with all the strength in her arms in attempt to fell him, or if nothing else trip up his balance as she then slid underneath him, releasing his horns and scythe, and swiping at his ankles again with the thorny blades of her arms.
Naomi chuckled at Flynn's comment about her clawed hands. It was kind of weird, normally she'd feel embarrassed and angry at people for poking fun of her weapon form, but when Flynn did it she didn't really mind. Maybe it was just a result of all the teasing they'd done so far. Naomi thought about Flynn's comment for a second. Unless you count those balls from yesterday! The girl chirped, feeling like that counted a little. Then again it was more of a defensive maneuver, so it was definitely iffy. Let's give it a shot! Naomi kind of braced herself as she collided with the punching bag. It was kind of a strange feeling. It wasn't really painful or anything, but it still felt strange to feel your body impacting an object. Then again being gloves felt pretty weird as it was. Naomi let herself relax, and just casually observed the different sensations. After a moment she pitched in a little bit, following Flynn's rhythm to add a little force to the punches. Not too bad. Naomi replied, feeling pretty decent. Let's go at it a little harder. She added, putting a little more force into her punches, and metaphorically dipping her toes in Flynn's soul. So far Naomi had just been allowing any resonance to come naturally, but now she was pushing it slightly.

╟──────────────────────╢ Curious at what she was even attempting to do when she wrapped her blade around the scythe, he soon realized once she wrapped it around his horn aswell, refusing to let go of his scythe he attempt to use her own momentum against her but it fails as when he went for the swing she slid under him pulling him down and tripping him, ontop of that the she managed to connect with her attack on his ankles. Nano hit the floor pretty hard and layed there for a short moment to get his wits back "I'll admit, that was smart so well done on that however this also means you got the first hit on me which i simply cannot let go unpunished. once back up on his feet he charged at her and using the long reach of his scythe he held closer to the bottom to abuse that reach and went to swing at her however this was just a fake out and before the blade could touch her, nano pulls down on the handle pulling the blade closer to him and shortening the reach, now with the shorter reach he went for his true target, her thigh.
As she saw him go tumbling to the ground, Keiko couldn't help but smirk at the success of her ploy. It had worked just as she'd hoped it would, and while he was lumbering back to his feet, she was already poising herself in a mantis-like position, ready to snap her blades forward at any moment. She felt a chill run through her at his congratulations, and her smirk vanished, gaze hardening when he assured her it wouldn't go unpunished. Had he been going easy on her? In which case, now that she'd shown enough skill to topple him over, the stakes had just been sharply raised. His attack came more swiftly than she'd expected after his slow rise to his feet, dodging back. But not enough. The fake out had tricked her enough that she hadn't anticipated the new trajectory of his scythe to completely dodge the slice to her leg. Instead of piercing right through her thigh, thankfully having narrowly avoided that gruesome fate, it cut through a strip of flesh. It stung, but she was just thankful to have avoided it nicking the bone.
Suddenly her weight felt much heavier on that leg, but she wasn't about to give up the fight yet. Not until she knew she could go on no longer, in which case she would most likely turn tail and run rather than risk him being unwilling to accept her retreat. Once again she took up the mantis position, and struck sharply with either blade, one at a time, in quick succession. It was a rapid fire, almost to quick for the eye to make out anything more than a silver blur, and aimed in so many directions it was too hard to pinpoint their next target. While he seemed to be calculating the pattern, or if there even was any, she shifted her weight in a spin. It sent shockwaves of pain in her injured leg, but it was worth the surprise as her blades spun with her, creating a barbed whirlwind. If only she had a Meister, she cursed as she dove back to avoid the possibility of a counterstrike. Then he could really see her potential.

╟──────────────────────╢ A wide grin appeared on his face when he noticed his attack had landed and some blood was running along the blade of his scythe but she was quicker than he actually expected, to be able to dodge quick enough to prevent a deeper wound was something as most would be unable to do such a thing and even fewer if he fought as his true speed but she was still just a student and not his enemy even if he was fighting as if he intended to truly harm her but the thing is, this was how he tested people to see just how far people could go before giving up, it was something wonderful to see how much people could endure before breaking. Nano wiped the blood off of his blade before preparing for another attack but she made the move before he could and now he was on the defense, she was fast that was true but he was faster so using his scythe and natural reflexes he managed to dodge and deflect most of the attacks but he couldn't stop them all and now had wounds of his own with blood running freely. Ontop of that she had changed her attack before he could react and managed to hit him with the barbed whirlwind, knocking him back but not down and with more of his own blood now flowing he began to laugh.
"Oh this thrill of battle, the feeling of blood flowing from my body, now this is a feeling i have surely missed. Other students are weak, pathetic, it has been months since i have been given any sort of challenge." The demon laughed harder but suddenly stopped as he raised his arm into the air "But let's see just how fast you are when there is nothing but darkness surrounding us, i will give you this though, if you manage to hit me then i can't continue the channeling but you have to match MY speed." as he spoke, the shadows surrounding them had begin to be dragged up into his palm where a ball of shadows was forming both from him creating the darkness and from the shadows, Nano began to back away from Keiko and intended to keep distance between them until he could unleash the ability.
Keiko couldn't resist a shudder as he seemed to relish the blood pouring from his new injuries, as well as the scent of his opponent's blood. Even with his praise, claiming her to be the first real challenge he'd had in months, she was unable to accept it as anything other than cruel taunting. Morbid at best. Her teeth were grinding with the effort of keeping her face expressionless, taking a deep breath before focusing more energy into her soul wavelength, and therefore her weapon form. Without a Meister, she was beginning to run out of tricks. Her sword-knuckles wouldn't do her much good, as she didn't trust him at close range. Her discus shoulder blades would be pointless outside of a close-range grapple.
Still, she had a few more ideas. By now she was certain this wasn't a battle she could win, but by god was she going to last as long as she could. She coiled her weapon arms together in a DNA-strip like pattern, launching the combined tip forward like a torpedo. However, instead of simply hitting him full force, she stepped forward and pivoted her body to guide the shot into the ground like a drill. It burrowed underneath only a short way before she redirected its path again, sprouting upwards until it burst from the earth. Only then did the coil begin to unwind, creating a spiral around his legs until the pulled them taut. Not only did she hope to trap his legs, the blades would certainly do a fair amount of damage as well.

Flynn smiled and nodded as he heard Naomi's first comment. Technically that would count. He too focused on the sensations as they punched. He could feel them resonating and so far it seemed to be going just fine. He continued attacking the dummy in calm, measured punches as he focused on building up their resonance force and syncing their wavelength. After a moment he could feel her moving the gauntlets as well, adding her own strength to the attacks. On the outside it would seem as if they were throwing regular punches at a regular dummy, but this was not the case. The dummy was specifically created to take much more powerful attacks than a regular human punch and Flynn estimated that if they had been punching concrete they would be shattering it at this level of strength. He paused when he heard Naomi's next comments. She was right: This was a decent warm-up but they were ready to push themselves harder. He'd heard these dummies could do more than just take a punch. He walked around behind the dummy, noticing a switch on the back. there was an "off" and "on". It seemed pretty simple, but the incident with the Xblaster had made him more cautious. "Okay, get ready," he told her before reaching forward and flipping the switch with one finger. He jumped backwards, fists raised in an attack position as the dummy slowly whirred to life. "Okay..." Flynn muttered. The dummy turned to face the two of them, though it moved slowly. It too then raised its arms in a fighting position. Flynn waited patiently, deciding to see what it would do before he made any moves. He didn't have to wait long. The dummy reared back and threw a punch. The punch was slow and came at the two of them lazily, almost as if the dummy was daring them to counter-attack. Flynn quickly moved into a defensive position and let the punch come at him. When the punch connected to Flynn's raised fists the two of them were in for a shock. "Guh!" The attack was a lot stronger than it looked. It felt like a sledgehammer had just hit them. Flynn quickly moved backwards out of the dummies reach. "Are you okay?" Flynn asked Naomi as he glanced down at her. He hadn't expected it to be that strong.
Demon Hound Abilities: • Shadow Melding: While in these forms Nano is able to meld with any shadow he pleases but he is unable to attack from inside the shadows and must exit to cause harm, while inside the shadows he is able to move around the area much much faster. Nano is able to create a shadow for a brief moment if need be but they tire him out very quickly.
• Spike Ball: Curling up into a ball Nano shoots out fast towards his intended target, if he is able to connect with this attack the spikes that cover his body leave deep wounds on their body.
• Shadow Spike Barrage: The gem on his forehead turns a deep black and begins to fire out spikes made out of shadows, when the spikes enter a persons body they start to infect them with madness and the more that enter the body the quicker it takes over. Any attempt to remove the spikes before they're drained of madness will cause them severe pain and just unleash all of the madness at once into their system. Two posts for the madness to be fully drained, three post cooldown
• Infected Bite: Nano's saliva is infected with his own brand of madness that if he is ever able to connect with a bite he unleashes alot of madness into them at once.
╟──────────────────────╢ The moment she went for an attack the demon sped up, he began to move erratically to throw off her aim on him as best he could, he was faster than she was but was he faster than her weapon the remained to be seen, as he was moving around to throw her off the ball in his hand had been growing larger, the light around it seems to be fleeing from just how dark it was only making it look darker. He watched and tried to predict just where her attack would land but she switched it up just like he had, his grin disappeared for a moment. He both loved and hated intelligent opponents he could no longer track it, when it came out of the ground he couldn't react to it fast enough and got caught, the blades wrapped around his legs cutting through his flesh causing more blood to escape but he showed no reaction to the pain instead he simply began to laugh and the shadow ball in his hand disappearing returning the shadows to their rightful place "This? This was your attack? Your plan?" as the demon laughed harder as his shadow shot up his body as it did before when he first changed.
This time his shadow changed with his body, changing from humanoid and standing straight up into a canine like shape and once he had transformed, his shadow returned to normal, the blades still wrapped around now his hind legs "I give you once chance to admit defeat or we go for a ride and no student can match my speed in this form." The demon curled into a ball and began to spin in place picking up more and more speed with the ground getting more and more shredded as he span.

Nixon walked across the field wearing his more casual clothing as he honestly did not feel like wearing a tailored suit today. He paid little attention to what was going on around him as he wanted to be alone for now. He set the level of a singular dummy to high setting. There was no need setting up loads of dummies if they were not going to be a challenge. He took several paces from the dummy and faced it. A smirk made its way onto his face as he took the first stance. He placed his right foot forward and lowered his whole body while outstretching both arms. His right arm pointing straight and pointing toward his foot, and his left pointing the opposite direction. He felt his soul wavelength flow through his body and he siphoned it to his fingertips and palms. In a flash he was charging at the dummy, arms brought in close to the body and his focus 100% on the target. He got inches infront of the dummy before he executed 10 precise jabs which were aimed at the dummy. The dummy jerked and blocked 6 of the jabs but it had slowed down when the last successful blow hit. Nixon kept the exact distance as he carried on with his assault, throwing jabs continuously. Had this been a living being, their soul wavelength would be disrupted making them weaker. He carried on training for while until he took a break. He had a small bottle of water on him which would have to do. He sighed and looked over to some other students training. One pair which caught his eye. He walked over to the guy wearing those intriguing gauntlets. "Sorry to bother you two or three," he said as he approached the boy. "I couldn't help noticing you have a melee style weapon partner. And I was wondering if you wanted to train with someone who also used their fists?" he asked the boy and his partner. Nixon rarely trained with other students as going up against weapons like swords and lances, well any bladed weapon was not going to help him. However this weapon peaked his interest and he wanted to see what it could do. The boy not so interesting but the gauntlets needed to be wielded by someone to work properly so he would do.

I'm ready! Naomi replied, feeling pretty tough. The dummy seemed much less threatening than they might have anticipated. Well, maybe the thing started out easy and then got more difficult. Ah well, best play along. Naomi blocked it alongside Flynn, and was shocked by the sudden blow. The girl's ears were ringing and her whole body felt kind of painful. It kind of reminded Naomi of when at one point she hit a metal pole with a bat, causing the vibrations and everything to shutter down her arms. Ow ow ow ow ow... Naomi squeaked, internally shaking it off. I'm alright... Let's kick his butt!
Naomi focused entirely on her fists, and perhaps Flynn could feel the armor tightening, and hardening around the spiked knuckles. The next time she would be ready, and wouldn't be so jarred by a simply block. Naomi got a little distracted though when another student approached them. Keeping some of her focus on her defense, Naomi listened curiously to what he has to say. Hmm according to this boy, he was a melee fighter, and apparently a meister. Is he trying to poach me? Well I'm flattered but... Uhh... What do you think Flynn?
Flynn was ready for the punch this time and by the way Naomi's gauntlets tightened around his fists, he could tell she was too. The dummy lurched up to them again and took a slow swing. Flynn got in a fighting stance and raised one fist to counter the attack. Instead of flat-out blocking it Flynn tapped the incoming fist hard with his own in typical boxer fashion knocking it slightly off-course as he weaved to the left causing the attack to sail right by them. Flynn countered with his free fist landing a direct blow to the dummy's face. The dummy gave an exaggerated lurch backwards as it registered the hit, leaving itself wide open. Flynn was about to follow up with several more hits when he heard a voice. He turned to look at the speaker though he didn't take his attention fully off the dummy. Don't let yourself get seduced, Flynn telepathically teased Naomi. Flynn had been so focused on the dummy he hadn't noticed the blonde boy come in or his training. "Meister?" He asked the boy as the dummy began jerkily heading towards them again. Flynn stepped out of range again as the dummy took a slow swing, easily dodging the attack. He briefly considered the offer as he looked the new-comer up and down. He seemed pretty confident and there wasn't anything about him that made Flynn believe he wasn't capable. The fact that he was a melee fighter also intrigued him."I'm down for it," he replied, as he dodged another of the dummy's swings. "If you can take down our opponent here," he added, giving a brief nod to their silent attacker. "No offense, I just want to make sure there's something to you. My partner here Naomi has a pretty brutal hit, so if you have a glass jaw I'd prefer not to break it." If the boy could take down the dummy, Flynn and Naomi would be up against their first real opponent as a team and Flynn couldn't deny the prospect was exciting.
In the evening Xuza arrived out of a little ripple in space which made it look as though she'd dove straight through thin air, disturbing what order there was in the area around here for a brief moment. Obviously distraught, she ran crying to the nearest practice dummy and pulled out her rapier. Throat raw, she lunged at it with broken fury. Because of her rage her form was sloppy, and sooner or later her sword got stuck in the dummy and snapped clean in half.
"AGH...!" She threw the half she was holding down, becoming slightly more conscious of her breathing as her vision widened from the frightful tunneling of a raptor to what could be considered normal. She stared at her blade for a long moment, as if to count the moonbeams which bounced off it. One tear flicked off its tapered spire and fell to the ground inert with no fanfare. She flipped the rapier down once absently and then turned to go home--or at least some place she could think about all the memories triggered tonight.
