I just remember being annoyed because my friend got me the first volume of The Tick (the cartoon one) and it was missing episodes, and was just episodes at that. Kind of a bummer, especially since it's such a cool series on its own. I mean, even the promos from when it aired and stuff would have been cool.
And yeah, typically I've seen or can see everything I want to without DVDs. I just get those for extras or to loan them out. With a few exceptions of movies and shows I just want to own because no one else knows about them or something.

My mouse is pissing me off. The cursor keeps getting stuck and the clicker stays down for like five minutes. Well, it doesn't mechanically, but something isn't registering on my computer. I'm sick of dragging when I want to click. And it won't scroll right. Stop being a ******** p***k. I just put new batteries in you!

Benisato A DVDV which misses episode is definatly a bummer. confused Especially when it's The Tick. I know it doesn't ruin the plot, but c'mon. Also, I feel like an a** walking into a book store and trying to explain what books I'm looking for since there are maybe 2 copies in the store ever and no it isn't that version; I was looking for the version by this publisher. No, don't special order it, I don't even live in this city so I probably won't be back. And man, how does something like Mirai Nikki/Future Diary get licensed and High School of the Dead is only just getting picked up?

It's August! Last month of me being a student and all the time in the world for another existential crisis focusing on the question 'how am I ever going to find a job and home and how do I make sure my parents are not going to infuriate me in the meantime?'
Infuriation stemming from their question 'why don't you do something with your life?' which is quite unfair to ask to someone who is looking for a job and home, because I am looking for something to do with my life.
*stomp stomp*

Hang in there and you`ll find something that you`ll enjoy to do.

I'll say this, I had no idea of the concept of a temp agency when I finished school. To sign up for them can be exciting, you suddenly discover the purpose of people entering office buildings every day.

I'm sick of dragging when I want to click. And it won't scroll right. Stop being a ******** p***k. I just put new batteries in you! Mine's got the opposite problem. It clicks, mechanically, but it doesn't always register. I'll think I clicked a thing and wait around for the effect to kick in, and eventually my dumb a** realizes that no, the mouse lied to me again, and nothing was actually clicked. Also, Verizon's service department blows hardcore.

Thanks Beni. smile
I've been signed up with temp agencies for the past 7-ish years, actually. Got many bullshit jobs through them. I hope they can help me with better paying temp stuff as well, but I doubt it very much. I'd prefer to have a bit more stable income, but dayum it seems like that is a thing from the past.
