That's what my friend who hosts all the events does. He works at the College between classes and buys and sells Magic cards for a profit. Plus he makes about 20$ off every event, and has at least one event a week. Sometime he even accepts entrance fees AS cards that he knows he can sell for MORE than the entrance fee.
Like this week someone gave him a Maelstrom Pulse which is 20$ at least, and the entry is 15$. biggrin So yeah, he's definitely got it down there. Which is awesome!
Old Charizards are only worth 35$ now which is sorta sad. Because dumbass pokemon reprinted him in the last set. D<

Good morning, bitches!
I seriously need to adjust my sleeping schedule so I go to sleep later a night, it's when everyone is on!
Also, I'm looking for reliable free forum hosts that have been around for 3 years or more. I'm really irritated with the poor excuses FreeWebs has for the errors in their forums' coding, and wanted to take the Daily Prophet elsewhere. If anyone has some suggestions for me, I'd be thrilled.
I'm trying InvisionFree first. It's a little tricky learning the controls, but I'm getting there.
CHARIZAAAAAAAAAAAARD. Yay.

I will probably be turning all of the Freewebs' website content into Gaia stickies. Freewebs seriously pisses me off.
First you have to make an account on the forum.

The only taken names are "Nazzy" and "Kitty," so you can choose ANY PG-13 username.
I'm typing up rules and stuff as to how things need to be done, but if you are familiar with the way newspaper article is structured, you're welcome to start writing when you get into the mood.
Article writing will go through a 3 part process. Discussion, Review, Submission. Discussion is before and mid-writing discussion with other writers for ideas and input. Review is offering your article up for others to review and point out possible mistakes, or things they think could be added. Submission is posting your completed, edited version for admins to post in the actual DP sections.
But since discussion is optional, you can go right to writing if you know what you want to write.
