Old Man KB Darth is just being a meanie. Tenkai already said that Fier should have taken that first uppercut. What's Acro supposed to do if not reciprocate when his opponent is douching out of all his moves? It's not surprising to see someone who wants to win ( and is relatively new to the whole thing ) dropping to that level to "stay in the game" especially when he can't trust entirely that the Judges won't vote for Fier because Fier is more popular. The fight could be a lot, lot worse actually. I think I recall them fighting and Fier going "WELL IF U DUN LIEK IT, CALL JUDGES" and then calling them himself a few minutes later after Acro ignored the bait and just kept fighting. That's mostly why I like the fight, because it's a "veteran" having so much difficulty with a "n00b". --- Unrelated note Elli isn't much of a visionary. whee THANK GOD SOMEONE UNDERSTANDS @ Vizzle But I think you really don't get it, I've fought Fier as a n00b, when I started rp'ing, with a cocky and arrogant attitude that could piss off even Lucifer himself. I lost badly, and he has ever since addressed me on a consistant basis OOC and IC with no respect or dignity. If he intends to have that kind of attitude towards me, why should I honor him by point out these flaws in logic or discussing s**t with him? In my time of knowing you Darth, you do have moment's of A-holery, and this is one of them. But regardless, I still respect you with a passion becuase your A. Intelligent, B. Level-headed (most the Time), and C. Noble. And I think it's because of that nobility that you hold even someone like me to the standard that I'd still try and communicate with someone whose given consistanct signals of dislike and disrespect he want's nothing more than to eliminate me and have bragging and harassment rights. Knowing you, you'd probably do the right thing and still try and communicate regardless of the scenario for the spirit of sportsmanship. But not all people have that sort of patience...

Old Man KB And it will be quite the ironic book, you writing about me saying writing is an imperfect form of preservation. But then you're the student who's learned all about writing and whatnot, so you probably know a lot more then I do about how flawless it is!
The book I am writing on you has nothing to do with writing actually!
I plan on calling it "KB: Reasons to fawn over him"

@Fox.: I agree with you, it did look, rather amazing. I've been playing MvC2 for awhile now, and I'm quite good. But this will just open a whole new opportunity for a** kicking.
What's your usual, team? If you have one.
I play as Wolverine, Ryu, and Iron Man.

The Darth Vizzle A good fight is when you can get through a post where it's primarily exposition/writing and not arguing, and when, instead of going "DERP NO" to every attack/defense, both players learn to offer some "give" and roll with what their opponent does. Situations of "EXCEPT NOT REALLY BECAUSE THIS" should be rare in a fight, and never that big of a deal. Because, you know, the fighters should maintain OOC communication to clear up any problems to avoid those sort of situations where the posts break down into NO Uing each other. There is some level of competition involved, but it should not overrule common sense, fair play, and portraying the character. I could give examples of good fights that went well. I could also give more examples (sadly enough) of what to avoid. I would like to read them if you could direct me that way, and I would love to get some pointers from you on what to avoid with examples of it so that I can see the concept that you are talking about. There are some people who won't take hits, and cannot be spoken with because their entire goal is to douche bag your match. You've done this long enough to realize that those situations are pretty much the rule with new players, and the established, more experienced fighters.

The Vansin Man. I want to win GTB. I want people to kiss my a** too. Thank god, I'm not the only one. Wouldn't it be nice? "Sin, you're absolutely right, everything you say half of the time is correct, and usually makes sense. You're amazing, and we love you. After all, you did win the GTB, you wouldn't steer us wrong."

I suck at MvC.
That is all.
But anyways, I just pick B.B Hood and Dr. Doom, then whoever in between. So... I really don't have a team. I always had a hard time finding a team in MVC2... probably cause I suck at it.
Lol@Vansin.
You gotta take that, Vizzle?

It's a shame I like Vizzle. Else I would totally use the fact that people fawn over him in some half-baked personal attack against him.
Edit: Instead, as C. Fox spectacularly fails to note, I was making fun of the people who talk to him like he has the power to have them beheaded.

Because, Acro, stooping down to doing the same thing is still wrong even if someone else does it first.
Just like when you were a child; if a friend did something wrong and you followed through, you weren't innocent simply because they did it first. If you're doing the same thing in turn, then you really have no room to complain about it or get defensive over getting called on it.
Hence, why I've pointed out (more than once) that if you simply cannot continue the fight in at least a remotely decent manner, that you should both simply agree to a draw where it stands and let it go to the judges, because it's obvious that as long as either of you maintain the same outlook on the fight, that it's going to go nowhere.
Why you guys haven't done that - as opposed to what you're both doing now, which is digging yourself a deeper hole - I don't really know.
Fox: I don't really care. I don't think winning the GTB has a whole lot to do with why people agree with me, because people have been agreeing with what I say since before I ever really established myself. If people just agreed with me because I consistently do well in events, then I guess that's their prerogative.

I had no idea that I harassed you the entire time after that first fight Acro.
I mean. I didn't have anything better to do then to brag and harass Acro constantly on Gaia.
Sarcasm aside. I haven't talked to you or anybody at all for six months since Heaven or Hell in Jan. I came back a few months ago, and I still haven't talked to you up until GTB. I don't see how this is "a constant basis".
Your character IC doesn't deserve the respect of mine. He's younger, he has a cocky attitude that hasn't been proven, and he tried to convince James that he works for a mass murderer.
