Sammy watched Jack leave. She wanted to say 'Nooo! I'm scared of being alone! I'll do something stupid!' But she restrained herself. "So, uhm... Now what?" Sammy asked, only looking at the ground. That was a safe place; the ground.. Or under it.

"See ya Jack," he smiled and waved. "Well, TECHNICALLY, we aren't dating so it could just be a friendly thing if you want," Cody turned to her and stated. He wanted to reassure her that though he had feelings for her, he wouldn't let that get in the way of their current friendship. He didn't want to ruin ANYTHING they had right now.

"Okay; cool," Sammy sighed with relief. Okay, so no pressure. Thank goodness. Then again... "It's not that I wouldn't mind it or anything, so..." Sammy stopped there. She realized that, for his sake, that couldn't happen. She wasn't right for anyone. She was in a depression; that usually meant someone would get hurt. She looked down at the ground, a somber face on as she thought about that.

Sammy quickly changed the subject. "So, what do you want to talk about?" Sammy asked, curling her knees up to her chin and peeking her eyes over the tops of her knees.

"Dunno. Do you think it's too cold to go for a quick lap or two around the island?" Cody asked, hoping to get her to come with him. He grabbed Flygon's pokeball and tossed it in the air a couple times.

"It's never too cold to fly!" Sammy said, jumping up. She was eager at the chance to be able to fly on Vixen again.

"Ok, cool!" Cody exclaimed. He was happy that sammy had accepted his offer. "Flygon, you heard the lady!" He let out Flygon and ran through the teleporter, appearing on the beach in no time.

Sammy followed, soon appearing on the beach. She slid her fingers across the surface of Vixen's pokeball. She let him out and hopped on. "So, we're just randomly flying around the island?" she asked. For some reason, she had the feeling that she didn't need Vixen. She still wanted to use him, though.

"Well, then; it's a date!" She called, letting Vixen take off into the sky. "Faster!" She laughed; this was actually fun! She didn't have to put on a show of being happy; it was just so nice to feel the wind on her face. Of course, flying wasn't the best thing for pockets. She felt her pills fall out of her pocket and roll off of Vixen's feathers. "Crap!" She called, watching as Vixen turned around to attempt to catch them before they hit the ground. Anti-depresants weren't a good thing to have on the beach, she was sure.

Cody and Flygon took off after her. "We gotta catch up. You can't let a Pidgeotto make a loser out of you," he laughed as they sped toward. Sammy. He saw a small object falling from Sammy's pokemon and swooped under to catch it. Barely grabbbing hold of it, he sent it back up to her, not really wondering what it was. He was having an awesome time with her and their date had just started.

Thank god he didn't look! Sammy thought, relieved. She saw them approaching, and asked Vixen to slow down... he did so. "Thanks," Sammy called over the sound of the wind. At this point, she realized that it was cold while flying. It didn't bother her, though; she was having fun. "So, tell me a bit about yourself; something I don't know," Sammy suggested.

"Ok, um..." Cody didn't want to bring up his past, though that could easily be obtained through his personal file. "Something you don't know about me..." He continued to think until finally, "Ah, yes! I'm left handed, favorite pokemon is either Flygon or Ambipom, I can't swim to save my life, and I'm currently on a quest to find my best friend." He took a deep breath. Well, the last one was probably the only interesting fact out of them all but he wanted to include general knowledge. Nothing really personal until she asked.

Sammy grinned when he mentioned not swimming; neither could she. "That's pretty cool!" she added. "Anything else?" She asked. For some reason, she was very curious about him.
