Background: A brat child from the Uminezumi clan. Her criminal record scroll weighs more than her school records. Her family is known to have elaborate tattoos and cause trouble.
Due to their incredible influence in the land of waves she is forbidden from: drinking, traveling with a posse after sun down, or carrying sharp weaponry in all non-shinobi villages controlled by certain officers of the water daimyo and is strongly encouraged, though not legally obliged, to not to appear at major public events.


Her "legal guardian" is her great-grandfather who is rarely on his feet. His name is long forgotten and only available in some dusty book in some dusty archive. He answers to any old man reference. He's been mistakingly buried 30 times after being pronounced dead, usually because his 5 legitamate children and 18 grandchildren all wish him to die. Lots of inheretence will be gained including some sway over influentual non-shinobi crime family connections across the lands of water, sound and waves. He is still a jonin level ninja despite his old rotting corpse of a body. His favorite thing to say to Tama who works in his ~bookstore~ is "When I am killed, you may rest then you little ****. If I die naturally, I shall haunt your dreams until you kill me!"
Her father, chuck who is currently reported to be in hiding, who sports over 100 piercings, had lost his limbs and had them reattached 10 times while wrestling ninja-sharks and bears before age 20, and currently has a huge death warrant on his head is not the best example for his last surviving daughter. But he does keep in touch somehow through her mother. How this is done is unknown but Tama will occasionally recieve letters or oddly placed notes passed to her through awkward means.[its an understood rule that she is to allow her instructors to view these if asked for safety reasons] He selected his wife by seeing which one of his girlfriends was the luckiest gambling armpiece. Her mother was actually a stalker ex from a team he was once on with no chace to win but she shanked the girl who did win to death and did something to convince her father to propose immediately after meeting her shortly after leaving the hospital for tripping down for falling down the many stairs and being attacked by ocean life in his one story home far from the docks. Not much is known about her mother exept that her name is Zashiki and she is known to haunt buildings, lockers, and bathrooms. Her stealth skill is over 9000 and she's usually off on missions. For some odd non-hereditary reason most people don't notice her even if she's in plain sight unless she touches them or speaks. Those with strong senses will get a chill up their spine when she's around. Due to various other oddities and her abnormal of shinobi arts she is the cause of many urban legends and ghost stories such as the yuki-onna sightings of one year or the flying humanoid sighting of another.

Personality: She doesn't care much for authority or really anything that doesn't give her whatever she wants which she rarely gets. She is the type that will like you more if you give her a gift even if it sucks than if you encourage her or something. Her concept of justice and honor basically comes from a family of thugs, pirates, and something like yakuzas. Her senses of beauty and adorability are somewhat skewed away from the norm as well. She likes oily and slimy things with strange shapes and colors. She dislikes having to look at cute/feminine looking males regardless of age. She believes they should all be like her father with intimidating battle scars hidden perhaps by tattoo art.

Other:
to save potential kidnappers some time, only the mother and father would openly react to her daughter being in danger. But at best even if they appeared either one would use mourning as an excuse to go drinking even if Tamakeri was still alive. The grandfather wouldn't care unless she owes him a large sum of money at the moment.

She has an easily replaceable family trinket that allows her to get certain items for free from certain fish market shops and bakeries amongst other shops who will not necessarily give her free stuff all the time. Though the item is only really useful when people can't tell who she's related to. She's allowed only enough for survival and isn't supposed to carry money on her person for various conduct related reasons.

Basically she gets 3 free meals a day and has a credit with certain shops.

She has no money at the moment and teachers are allowed to discipline her for having money nobody knew she had.

She will be earning her own money when she's older.
