Zelyhon, I already said I was done. If you've a problem then send me a PM. Though to find a problem with a profile that is no longer there would be completely, utterly, stupid, I am more than happy to settle down any qualms you folk may have with me. My only quirk would be: Do not publicly confront me with problems. If you've an issue PM me and, as I said just a few sentances ago, I'll be happy to, civilly, chat with you. If you come into the OOC and get the whole guild wriled up there's a chance I'm not going to respond civilly and come back annoyed, angry, or just down right hostile.

No offense intended Jim, but if you end up being "hostile" towards anyone here for having their two cents put in, let alone publically, you'll be dealing with a force much larger then anyone here. No one has meant you any disrespect, in any way, and yet this seems to have been drawn out into a verbal rumble about who is right and who is wrong. In all reality anything TJ says goes, as long as it doesnt upset the gaia admins. And if someone doesnt like it, then the BC isnt the right guild for them.

Realistically you're all over-reacting to the simple definitions of character capability. After all, none of Jim's characters could compare to some of the previous examples. After all, we have one of the legendary seraphim amongst our midst.
We have fallen angels, gods, and all manner of other things.
For example, take KB. If I were to write out each of his abilities, the list would include and expand several books. THe character base off racial reqs alone is an ECL of somewhere around 13. That's a mid-level hero at first breath.
Factor int he countless eons of existance, the aquired traits and immunities, skills and knowledge, and KB is nothing short of the physical avatar of a god. If not a god, perhaps in comparison to THE god. Hell, I know KB could kick luci's a**, could prolly b***h smack GOD too.
Long story short, I think you're all over-reacting. If you'd take a moment to look at things, you'd see a mere profile has nearly nothing to do with if someone is going to GM.

Granted you have a point KB; But I seriously feel this all stemed from, as I said before, the verbal conflict of who is right and who is wrong.
EDIT: Now it's never actually been said "I'm right and your Wrong" but thats just the way it looks. Atleast in my eyes.

The x5 hotter than the sun thing wasn't listed in a profile.
KB's ability to walk on ceilings isn't in a profile.
I doubt many if any of Mas's abilities or background schemes and such are listed in a profile.
The command of the old floating spacestation and the vast laboratories and facilities, and thusly their potential, wasn't at all in detail explained.
Long story short, I think that trying to say someone will GM just because their profile is defined is about as retarded as letting people use skills that aren't listed in their profile. If you'd like the profiles to be that regimented, have them write up a battle profile.
Otherwise, shut up and let it go.

Everyone, please stop the bickering over whether Jim did something wrong or not. You're going past the original complaint and this should end here and now.

Well, personally, I feel that a profile should let people know in short the list of things your character is able to do, and some about their personality. Anything else should be found out through actual rp. Though, I do feel that excessive abilities are a little over the limit. In my opinion each character should be able to do a few things, at most a large handful. I mean what fun is it to throw every ability you ever dreamed of into one character? sweatdrop I don't know, maybe it's just me, maybe Yotsy is simple. Even so, she likes the way she is sweatdrop

Nana, though I appreciate your dedication to keeping a level of peace, I find the topic aggrevating. It's much like hounding you or Mas to delete the Citadel and your work on it simply because I might find it overpowered.
Whether Jim over-reacted or not, the core arguement was what, that his character couldn't have amassed such powers?
I can say with almost 100% certainty that most BC members with great powers had them when they showed up. There have been very few exceptions in which a character went under something to gain control of new powers or abilities.
THough I can name a few, some who took months, but the irony would be lost ont he ignorant.

The "point" is, that not everything "needs" to be bickered to death.

This is why I'd rather be PMed if someone has an issue with me. Posting it publicly leaves too many things to be opened to conversation, which almost always leads to someone or someones gettin all wriled up.
