"Of course." Bakura said, nodding. He began to wrap Seto's entire chest area with long strips of linen. "Your Millennium Rod won't be returned to you any time soon, priest. You're probably going to be tied up when you sleep. You're going to have to answer to us. Other than that, I'm fine with you staying." "Oh, you're so generous." Seto remarked sarcastically, though he was thankful. He had been completely earnest when talking to Bakura, and was completely shocked to see what kind of person the thief was. He could remember when Rei insisted that Bakura wasn't that bad of a man, when they had been captured and taken to the palace. This was what she had meant, probably. He decided to take that back when Bakura punched him on the back of his head. "No, I meant that." He said, wincing, rubbing his head. "I would have killed you if you were in my place." "I have a feeling it'll be harder to be forgiven by the other two..." Atem said, sighing heavily. "I had better get it over with, though. I'll just be next door. See you in a little bit." Atem kissed Nanu's forehead, getting up.

Hearing kek starting to wine she gave bakura a kiss and got up and went to care for her children.

"Yeah, yeah..." Atem said, sighing and nodding his head. He got up and left the room, then hesitated outside of Ayira's door. He did his best to soothe his nerves before knocking. "Ayira? It's... Atem. Can we talk?"

Atem paused, and then pushed the door open silently, peeking inside.

Inside ayira was asleep. If he got closer he would see the tears on her cheaks. She had cried herself to sleep.There was dried blood on her lips.

Atem sighed as he went over to the side of the bed. This would probably take a while. He decided that it was better to get it over with, and put a hand on Ayira's shoulder. He was about to shake her when he remembered her neck, and then just bent close to her ear, calling her name loudly. "Ayira!"

Ayira jerked out of sleep. she let outa small cry of pain coughing up a bit of blood.

Atem jumped, honestly not expecting her to wake up like that. "Oh! Are you okay? I'm sorry, I didn't mean to startle you or anything..."

Ayira took a deep breath trying to calm down "I was fast asleep.you yelled in my ear. Whatdid you think was going to happem?"

"Um... Can I get back to that?" Atem asked sheepishly, deciding that this wasn't off to the best start. He spoke quickly, not giving Ayira much time to get angry at him over waking up. "Look, I've had a lot of time to think about what's been going on, and I wanted to apologize. I am very, truly sorry about what I had said and done earlier. I was angry, but I didn't mean a lot of what I said. I wholeheartedly support you and Seto being together. I just wanted to apologize." He took in a deep breath after saying that, feeling nervous. He didn't really have to apologize to people a lot, so this was awkward for him.

"Of course not. I-I... This is really hard for me..." He muttered, rubbing the back of his head, looking up at the ceiling. "I'm not the one who apologizes to people. But everything that you had said to me... I want to change that. I'm not a heartless b*****d. I had just been very angry. And I thought it would be best to start off by apologizing. I'm going to do my best to find Seto." It had been hours, though. Atem had no idea where Seto might be.

Atem bowed slightly, biting his bottom lip. "Well... thank you for that, at least." He said, sighing a little. "Did Seto say anything about where he was going, or any kind of hint?" "No." Seto shook his head. Bakura had been quizzing him, asking him for more details about things at the palace. The thief had just asked him pretty much the same question Atem was asking Ayira. "I didn't even know where I was going to go when I left there. Nobody had followed me, either. Trust me, nobody will find us." Bakura closed his eyes, sighing. "I'm not ready to start trusting you, priest. Besides, nobody had known about this place at all a month ago, but you and the pharaoh and your men had somehow discovered Rei and I here. Which would be a bigger priority for the pharaoh right now; finding you, or finding me?"
