So who doth possesseth a Playstation the Third?

I have an Xbox. Of the 360 variety. It's my third one, thank the Lord for the year warranty.
I have a PS3 and a Wii, but I don't want to go through multiple XBoxes and thus have avoided buying a 360.

My boyfriend has an XBox360, so I went for the Wii and PS3. Besides the fact that they have more games I prefer. Ahhh I love my PS3. I can use adhoc party and play Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker with my friend in Texas. ;.; heart

I'm much more addicted to my PS2 then my PS3 that I sold. The Wii is fun, too.
But I'm much more addicted to DragonBall Online and WOW to really play my consoles as much. But yeah.... DS is fun too.

Yes!! I love my PS2 it rocks my socks off smile
I've been thinking about getting the old UM game for the PS2 lately... anyone played it?
Oh and who has a Nintendo DS Lite? I was wondering how well they actually work... and do they play well with GBA games? I've heard that they work with them, but not how well? razz

Oh and I have a slight mental list of characters I might want to cosplay for next year razz

1. Jacqueline Muscle
2. Makoto Kino (Sailor Jupiter)
3. Lillymon
4. Wizardmon
5. Tenten (Naruto Shippuden)

They're in order for what I want to do the most at the top... smile

Uh the one dubbed by 4Kids? I've played it, it's kind of a pain to play after a while. Like, some characters get alternate costumes right away, but Neptuneman gets two diferent characters, and they aren't The Samurai and Neptuneman. The only alternate costumes that make sense are Kid Muscle's costume during the Choujin Olympics, King Muscle's costume, Devil Buffaloman and Mongolman. Then again, Barracuda is a nice touch, and Croe. Just play it yourself, if you have the Gamecube UM game, it's fairly similar.
I have a DS Lite. No way am I getting rid of my GBA games. The GBA games actually look better on a DS, like how GBC games looked better on a GBA.
Jacqueline will be hard to pull off! .o. If you do, I'll be Ikeman.

And happy belated birthday to you too. <3 ... Don't worry, I need to finish mine too.

Thanks. <3

And I want to cosplay too. Never really had the time to practice on my sewing machine and make costumes. D:

Galactic Wrestling was fun until I unlocked everything.. but occasionally Pat and I go back and play. We have the Buffalo Beefcakes match (Mars/Jeager using their Beefcake Hammer and Buffalo Branding moves to KO opponents) and then WALLY AND DIKDIK VS. THE TWO SHOGUNS. AAAHHH. We've actually won that match a few times. 8|

I want to get Muscle Grand Prix though.

And as for cosplay, Raiden (Metal Gear Solid 2) is the next on my list. Just bought the wig and MK.23 for him.

I don't know about anyone else, but when I picture someone saying dub-exclusive material is superior to the original material, I usually picture the person saying it in that dopey-sounding cartoon voice used to show the person is not only EXTREMELY stupid, but also SO MENTALLY IMPAIRED that NO AMOUNT of attempts at educating the person will make him or her any smarter than the person is now. I even picture the person as doing things such as saying "am" instead of "is" or "are", and I even intentionally misspell words if I'm typing out the person's statement, imagining the words being written in EXTREMELY sloppy and illegible handwriting.

I dunno. That seems kinda harsh. I think dub bashing is silly, in my opinion. XD; Like.. while I prefer the dub for Ultimate Muscle, I can see why people would want to stick with the Japanese. They both have their good/bad points.

The series is like Samurai Pizza Cats. It may be the same anime, but the dub/jap tracks make it practically a completely different series from each other - but they're both still good and entertaining - and they shouldn't really be compared with each other because they are that different.

I actually enjoy shows such as Robotech and Samurai Pizza cats. It's when a show gets dubbed in a blatantly inaccurate manner but still treated as the same show that I get pissed off.

Like 4Kids and One Piece. Sanji's techniques, now available at McDonalds.

I agree with this statement. As totally off SPC and UM were from the originals, they were still fun crack.

With One Piece, however, 4Kids couldn't make up their mind about what direction they were going with it. They picked up a show with a HECK of alot of fighting violence in it, and replaced guns with weird water pistols and ACME-esque inventions. Smoking was replaced with sugar and bad breath, and to top it all off, when it seemed they were going to follow the true plotline, they removed an ENTIRE ARC of CANON storyline!

I DO, however, enjoy FUNimation's dubbing of One Piece, and actually watch the dub when I get new DVD's from them, since I've already seen them in japanese, and I'm interested in seeing how they transition it.

Oh, since gaming was also mentioned, is anyone here looking into the DC Universe Online game coming out in November. I'm not a gamer, but I SO wanna play that. Making my own superhero, HELL YES.

Here's a good example of the bad points of Ultimate Muscle. Instead of actually doing any sort of changing, Barrierfreeman's Georgioman half bitched about not getting to the market to get prunes, or how about Meat's voice? Little boys have voices like that. biggrin

The only nitpick about Funi's dub is Sanji's voice doesn't sound like him. But it does get good when he goes gaga for Nami. Sonny Strait was the best American choice for Usopp ever. EVER.

For creating your own superhero, there's also City of Heros.

But they never said Meat's a little boy in the dub. Just.. a possible midget. It's like how the Big Cheese is actually a fox and you can clearly see.. he is a fox, but the dub makes him a rat.
