Felina nodded "It's a cute little dragon" her grin quickly turned into a frown "That thing on the other hand I could live without" she whispered gazing up at the dragon.
Satoshi laughed "Not really, any outfit is suitable if you know the right jutsu to hide yourself" she teleported down to where the group was to avoid being hit by the dragons tail.
"Ok things could be better. You at least didn't kill the baby one" Hayate told Alpha calmly "Now if this is like most dragons it has a weak spot somewhere around the neck"

Itaka pointed to the Dragons neck "Tough luck Hayate this ain't most dragons, this one has a collar of nethicite." he said readying his sword and stopping Seph from going ahead "Lemme try this thing." he said jumping high aiming for the dragon's chest. Suddenly spikes of nethicite sprouted out of the dragon as Itaka closed on it. "Ah!" Itaka cried as he flicked his sword to hit the nethicite knocking him away from the approaching spikes. He landed by the dragon's right foot with a roll. "That was too close...almost needed another operation" he said patting his armoured arm. Before Itaka could recover for another attack the dragon flicked it's foot at him sending him flying away from it.
Mari glared at Alpha "Well we did scare it's baby" she said pointing to the little baby by the mothers back feet which yelped in support for her mother"
Oassu patted Cid who was quivering "Ok I'll see it gets beaten down" he said jumping up to the platau where Seph and Itaka were near the dragon.
The dragon turned its attention onto Alpha as mist fumed out of its nostrils seemingly identifying him as the source of distress to her baby. It reared up and breathed out a stream of nethicite spikes and energy in his direction.

Hebal frowned and listened to the noises the dragon was making "Looks like we'll have to kill it since she doesn't feel like talking it over"
Seph gave Hebal a glare "We already worked that out when it attacked" she moved over to where Oassu was for a moment before jumping onto the dragons back. She lodged her sword into it then quickly pulled the blade out and moved away from the creature.
Hebal sighed "I was just listening to what it had to say in hope it would leave peacefully she muttered"
Alpha sighed and formed several small balls of energy in his hand. He took a step back and launched them at the dragons attack.

"You can understand it?" Satoshi asked Hebal. She formed a bunch of handsigns causing water to come crashing down on the dragon from above.
Hayate sighed and took out a small green bag. From the bag he pulled out a jar of what appeared to be poison "So much for that. Oh well theres more than one way to kill a beast" he said as he dipped the heads of some of his arrows into the jar. He put the lid back on and put the bag away.
Felina grabbed hold of Cid who had tried to scurry off away from the dragon. She stroked his ears in order to calm him down but almost dropped him as he began to glow a bright blue colour. He managed to squirm out of her hands and released a beam of white energy at the dragon.

Mari sliced overhead cutting through Hayate's poison arrows "Poison is a coward's blood" she spat "This is a noble beast and deserves to die with honour" she said pointing her sword at it. Before dashing towards it.
Oassu landed by Hebal "She's a blue mage and a viera, both have a natural affinity with animals...I think" he murmered running after Mari.
The shards of nethicite in the breath beam disintegrated in Alpha's attack but the energy in the beam kept on going.
Itaka grunted getting up "Old man you might wanna move soon" he muttered.
Spikes jutted out from the dragon's back where Seph was missing her as she left. The dragon snapped at Seph as she moved away but a swift aero spell from Zadina knocked it's head in the other direction.
Itaka frowned at Seph "Geez always have to go a step better than me" he sighed rolling his eyes.
The dragon turned its attention to the giant white beam that was thundering towards it. It blasted into the front of the dragon and nethicite shards went flying. The skin of the dragon was charred black and the dragon collapsed on it's front legs. It whimpered slightly as nethicite grew out to repair the damage.

Alpha jumped out the way of the energy beam with about 5 seconds to spare "That stupid creature isn't going to be the death of me"
"Maybe I'm just a bigger risk taker but whatever gets the job done" Seph winked at Itaka before jumping down to where the dragon was standing. she cast a slow spell on the creature before slashing at the charred skin, "What are you guys waiting for? We need to attack this thing now before it heals itself"
Hebal nodded "That and before I had a class change I was a dragoon" she explained "Oh and interesting rabbit of yours Felina". She jumped onto the dragons head while she was on her front legs and dug her spear into the back of its head.

Hayate glared at Mari "Nobody cares about your honour thing" he spat back. He quickly covered another arrow in the poison and launched it into the dragons leg "It's only going to restrict her movements"
Felina chased after Cid for a minute before managing to pick him up again "Your attack was good but you're still too young to be fighting" she whispered to him before moving closer to Oassu.
"Odd sort of class change" Satoshi remarked teleporting to where Seph was. She placed her own blade into the black area of skin as deep as she could.

Oassu slowly turned around and stared at Cid "Felina....Cid is.....umm" he said a little scared of the cute bunny.
Itaka gritted his teeth "Don't play yourself down Seph you were just better than me" he turned to Oassu "Don't just stand there you can worship Cid later. Just finish this thing!" he said running before jumping high and spinning before planting the sword into the dragon and hanging horizontally from it.
Oassu shook himself out of the stupor and chased after the others. "Time to try out some of those techniques" he said drawing his pinwheel and focusing. Oassu leapt into a jump spun the pinwheel and launched it at the dragon chakra strings trailing from it as it slotted into the wound. Oassu focused and sent the pinwheel deep inside the body extending his chakra further. "Ugh....the heart nearly there..." he grunted as his chakra was stretched.
The dragon meanwhile roared with pain rocking the cavern as it filled with mist.
The mist got to Oassu's head. "Ugh I can't concentrate anymore" he said as his chakra reached it's limit. "I can't finish!" he sighed.
Mari scowled as the dragon reared to crush Oassu. "Let me end this" she said launching herself from Oassu's back in a jump. "This sword has tasted the blood of a thousand fiends it longs for more!" she said unleashing a giantic slice through the dragon.
The dragon stood still as slowly the top of the dragon began to shift slightly to the left before eventually falling off.
The baby dragon lay at the lower body of the dragon and wept.
Itaka frowned covered in blood hanging just below where Mari cut "Great....couldn't be a little more careful or wait until I got out of the wat" he mumbled pulling his sword out and landing.

Alpha dusted himself off "We all did good back there. Even this little guy" he grinned and patted Cid on the head. He turned his attention to the baby dragon "Now what to do with this one. I guess we could put it out of its misery and kill it"
"You can't do that!" Hebal snapped at Alpha. She picked up the dragon and gave it a hug "These ones are almost harmless at this age"
Seph walked over to Itaka and passed him back the piece of fabric he had handed her earlier "Use that to get some of the blood off you. For the meantime I'm going looting." She went back over to the dragon and began to pull out a large scale.

Hayate backed away from Hebal and the dragon and turned to Cid "He has some pretty powerful magic. Maybe he could be of use more often" he scratched the rabbits head.
Cid yawned and looked up blankly at Felina before drifting off into a snooze. Felina smiled "I don't think so just yet. And you can't kill such a cute dragon" she moved over to Oassu "Great job back there" she told him.
Satoshi cautiously approached the dragon and patted it on the head "I guess it is kinda cute." she glanced over at Seph removing the scales "From what I hear you can use those scales to make armor"

Itaka looked at the small piece of blood-soaked cloth and the torrent of dragon blood on him "Grreat....yeah...this is gonna fix it.." he grumbled wiping it of his face before going to help Seph with the scavening "This stuff is worth a fortune" he said "I ain't letting you have it all" he said going to the mouth and hacking out a few fangs.
Oassu rushed over and cuddled Cid "Geez little buddy that was some incredible attack he said happily.
Zadina skipped over and hugged Cid too. "AWW that was so great little Cid" he said petting him before giggling "Aww he's tired"
Oassu turned back to Felina "Thanks Felina" he said giving her a hug and a kiss. "Tired me out a bit though." he turned to the dragon which was still weeping and bashuffling in Hebal's arms.
Mari sighed "I suppose we did kill it's mother after all" she sighed reaching out to pet the squirming dragon in Hebal's arms. "It's probably terrified of us but that monster would probably have eaten it before long."

Seph took hold of the scale then climbed up to the dragons head. "Go ahead and take the fangs. The only thing I really want is a hornm" she told Itaka while removing the horn, using her sword as if it were a saw.
Alpha grunted taking a seat of the ground "The mother tried to kill us so she got what was coming. The little one should know that."
Hebal placed the dragon back on the ground and glared at Seph and Itaka "You two could have at least not done that in front of the baby dragon" she scolded them.

Felina having her hands full gave Oassu a quick kiss on the cheek "If you take Cid off me I'll use a spell to make you feel better" she offered before turning to Zadina "In fact why don't you hold him for a change?"
Hayate walked over to the dragon and pulled his arrows out of the dragon. He put them away and left Itaka and Seph to take whatever. "Don't take any more than you can carry"
Satoshi sighed "Maybe I changed outfit too soon. Back to black it is" she grumbled as she used her jutsu to change into the black outfit she had tried on before. She took out an ether and took a sip "Want some?" she asked, offering it to the group

Itaka sighed "Sorry Hebal" he muttered finishing off the fangs and edging his way up to the other horn "Why do you need a dragon's horn?" he asked Seph.
Zadina picked up Cid and stroked him off to sleep.
Oassu rubbed his shoulders "No thanks," he said to Satoshi before turning to Felina "I feel dead beat up after that" he sighed "And I didn't even get hit"
Mari put a hand on Hebal's shoulder "Calm down Hebal," she murmered "the important thing is the dragon is gone now right?"

Hebal blushed "Sorry guys, I guess I got a little carried away" she watched as the young dragon scurried off into the darkness. "I have a bit of a soft spot for dragons"
Alpha shrgged "Well it's gone now and will do fine so lets just go back to finding Kyato" He wasn't a huge fan of dragons but didnt want to make a comment.
Seph put her sword away and pulled off the horn with a small struggle "No reason really. Just as a souvenir to add to my collection" she admitted, "Why do you want the fangs?"
