Focht just sat there, wanting to hold her but she didn't want to be held. He wasn't going to force her to be held.

Sighing softly she scooted as close as she can to focht and leaned on him resting her head on his shoulder. she just wanted a normal life but the way things are going, its far from normal. she planced her hand on his.

nuzzles him and smiles kissing his cheek.

Focht wrapped his arm around her and smiled at the kiss turning to face her.
"Thats what a relationships are about... putting up with the bad times to enjoy the good times...."
He gently kissed her on the lips.

He slowly starts running on hand thru her hair, figuring tonight wasn't worth heading back to the room unless she wanted to. The forest was safe enough.

Smiles softly as he plays with her hair. she take a deep breath and glances up into the night sky. enjoying every moment with him, not knowing what tomorrow will bring.

He smiled and closed his eyes, his tail swaying in an almost cat-like mannor of to the side. With a sigh, he was about to fall asleep right there in the woods with her.

She yawned softly as she layed back in the grass and curled up beside him, waiting for him to join her. she relaxed enough to sleep. as long he was there she didnt mind where they were. once he was beside her, she would fall asleep, feeling safe with him.

Focht took the hint and laid down next to Sai, gently holding her close to help keep her warm. He slowly drifted to a light sleep next to her.

Joan wandered through the forest, towards the Black Company. Maybe there would be people here who would understand her and her quest. She sat down on an overturned tree and sighed, pulling a water bottle from her bag.
Her thoughts wandered and she smiled lightly hearing the many sound coming from the forest.
She sneezed and a giant cloud of dust filled the air.
In a pile of clothing now sat a disgruntled turtle, it's lips drawn together in a pout.
"Not aaaagain. . ."

Moans and screams filled the air, along with the loud thuds of lumbering activities. Along the outer rim of the forest, just south of the ruined town of Enid, the undead had begun their unholy work. They didn't look as if they could hold an axe, let alone swing it with enough force to cut a tree down, but they did. Each new swing of the axe brought another tree closer to falling over. A good peice of forest was already lumbered away, though the likely hood that Lukien's fortress would require all the wood in this forest was highly unlikely. They didn't really care, nor could they. They were slaves to the Dark Lord who granted them to Lukien to build his fortress.

A swift figure darted through the branches of the forest of which she had been traveling for days. She smiled wickedly as she yet again landed on a branch, the feeling of impact made her feel so much more free.
She landed to the ground, taking off at a fast pace, running as though gliding on air, then skidded to a stop kicking up dust and dirt.
She smiled smugly and ran a hand through her sunset pink hair, throwing her head back, letting out a breath of air and laughed.
"This might be a nice place to stop for awhile, hopefully, they can handle me."
