"I'm not really sure what kind of girl I like," was all he said on the matter.
"Pensive?" He thought for a minute, and it was a case in point for Sawyer. "I guess I do get lost in thought. I'm sorry if I'm not paying attention." He laughed. "Maybe that's why things are over my head most of the time."

tsukkomi Watanuki "I'm not really sure what kind of girl I like," was all he said on the matter. "Pensive?" He thought for a minute, and it was a case in point for Sawyer. "I guess I do get lost in thought. I'm sorry if I'm not paying attention." He laughed. "Maybe that's why things are over my head most of the time."
"I know where you're coming from." She said with a laugh, "Happens all the time." She thought for a moment before continuing, "So, you're a member of this club then? What exactly do y'all do?" She let the "Y'all" slip before she had a chance to stop it, and immediately tried to cover it, "I mean, what is this club all about. What do you do here?"

He smiled breifly, glad he wasn't the only one out of the loop sometimes. He also didn't even notice the girl's slang, he just wasn't the type to.
"Oh! Well, this club is..." he trailed off. Dang, what is this club for? Oh something about people with time... He looked up to the side, as if he could see his thoughts and think better. "Well, the club president would say, 'Young ladies with time, come here to be entertained by young men, who also have time....' or something like that. Basically what we are doing now. It's just a place to socialize. Although there are events from time to time. You'd have to ask Kyouya-san, he would know if anything is coming up."
He looked around the room, wondering if it was okay he was spending time on just one girl. But I think hosts were supposed to do that... oh well, I'll do something else when I get yelled at. He also wondered how the twins were doing.
"I've only just started but... it's rather interesting."

"Interesting how? Interesting bad?" Sawyer queried. She maintained eye contact as she spoke, keeping a ladylike politeness about her.

"Thank you, Alcy-san." Hikaru smiled, sitting up and looked at his hand. He waited until her footsteps faded away before turning his head to look at Kaoru. "Thanks... dunno what I'd do without you." Hikaru gave his twin a small but genuine smile before looking away and pulling some band-aids out of the bag. "If you want to find Watanuki-san and make sure he's alright... I'll finish all this up and come find you later."

Sawyer ran her fingers through her short blonde hair. She took another dainty bite of the spongecake. "I mean, are they mean to you? Nice to you? Have you had any customers? Sorry, I'm babbling again. I have a tendency to do that." She put her books back in her bag, and looked back up at him with a smile. "Would you like a repeat customer?"

Blip! The card had finished loading. Cely hesitantly pulled the card out and slipped it into a protective case. She put it in the left pocket of her pants, making a note not to forget it before she washed her clothes later.
The room seemed so quiet, but she new it was actually abuzz with activity. The headphones slung around her neck continued playing the mellow techno they'd been playing for the past few minutes. She leaned back to take a drink and began to scribble in her notebook. It was actually her Science notebook, but the back few pages were sketches of classmates and occasionally scenes happening around her. She never really felt the need to take notes, but pretended to at least to keep out of trouble. None of her teachers had ever cared before-- had they? She couldn't really remember much of her life before the accident. She shrugged it off and took a drink, itching at the bandage under her sleeve.

Kaoru began to help put the band aids onto his brothers hand, watching him. "Its all right, Hikaru. He seems to be doing a good job all on his own," he murmured, moving to take Hikaru's other hand and work on cleaning it as well. With a serious look on his face, he worked in silence for a moment.
After a little bit, he pulled back and smile softly, watching his brother. "Besides, I don't mind helping. I know it'll be hard for you to clean it up alone with your hands all covered up."

He nodded silently, waiting as his brother finished wrapping both hands in some kind of stretchy, off-white strips of cloth over the numerous band-aids. Hikaru laughed quietly. He was turning into a mummy; first he'd been angry and moody most of the day and now he was being embalmed! "Hey... we should wrap each other up like this for Halloween this year. Resurrection of Brotherly Love..." Hikaru met his twin's eye and smiled, tilting his head slightly.
When all was said and done; the mess cleaned up, Hikaru patched up, and the twins had seemed to 'kiss' and make up; the elder twin decided he needed a little time off. It had been hard coming back to so many changes and he felt the best thing to do would be a walk or something to get his head in gear. "Hey, Kaoru... think you'll be ok without me for a bit?" Hikaru asked quietly while they were putting the first aid kit and rest of the cleaning supplies away.

Kaoru looked at his brother and smiled at his joke, before nodding and listening to him. "Yes. I'll be fine. I have Watanuki-kun around to help me." He then hugged his brother gently.

Something wasn't right. Alcy couldn't quite figure it out, but there was definitely something wrong with the general situation. Hmm... let's think... my back doesn't hurt as much anymore now that i'm lying flat.... the couch is nice and comfortable... the usual pleasant sounds of the host club are flowing around me... what is it? What doesn't feel right? She thought about it for a bit more before it suddenly dawned on her. I can't breathe with my face pressed into the cushions like this! "GAH!" she cried as she gasped for air, rotating her head sideways like someone doing the front stroke. "Bleh.... my mouth tastes like... couch..."

He returned the hug - squeals and awws breaking into their private conversation and resulting in his eyes rolling. Even when they weren't trying... it wasn't almost too easy, it really was just easy with a lot of these girls. "Tell Watanuki-san to keep an eye on your shoelaces for me, alright?" He asked as he stepped back, throwing his brother a wink before he turned and walked to the door that usually led people into the 3rd Music Room.
Hikaru paused a sec, looking back. No matter what happened, good, bad, challenges or fun; the hosts could always come here and find support in each other. They were friends. And this...
This was home.
Hikaru opened the door, slipped out and closed it silently behind him.

Kyouya had moved over to where Alcy was, standing above her. "Enjoying our couch?" A smirk formed on his face having watched her momentarily flail about in her panic to get oxygen. "As our current manager, how do you feel we are doing?"

Her eyes squinted as they slid toward Kyouya. "Kind of. It's soft, but it tastes bad." She rolled onto her back so her cheek wouldn't have to be pressed into the couch anymore, staring at the ceiling. "As the manager, I think we're doing pretty well. Hitachiin's A and B seem to be concentrating a bit more on their brotherly love act than on the customers, but I suppose that's what their fans like, not to mention they haven't seen each other in a while, so it's all good." She smiled as she looked back to Kyouya. "Also, Watanuki-san seems to be taking to the job easily. The customers'll love 'im."
((Hmmm... I got a new haircut on my avatar, but now I'm not too sure if it looks better this way or the old way.))

She leaned her head back a little and looked up at the ceiling. Talking to Watanuki seemed to help the day drain out of her, though a throbbing headache had begun again behind her left eye. Always the left one, she thought silently. She closed her eyes slowly and held them closed a while, out of the light. Not a migrane this time. Just fatigue. Fatigue and stress. She discreetly moved a pair of generic Aleve knock-offs into her mouth and swallowed them dry, which she immediately decided was a mistake since she had started to develop a case of cotton mouth. She pulled a bottle of water out of her purse and sipped it softly. She followed the pills with another bite of spongecake. Her eyes travelled back to Watanuki's face, and she smiled gently as the food hit her stomach slightly after the pills. The medicine burned when it hit her stomach. Right, ulcer. She mentally grimaced, Just stress, the doctor said, it's just stress. Her eyes travelled around the room, watching the comings and goings and goings on of the others who mulled about. "Was that other twin angry at you?" She questioned after a long period of silence, looking back to Watanukui. "I suppose dealing with them would be rather... different."
