Helix steered Lan towards a shady spot under a tree, and sat down with him. "That's okay. You see, life is a little like alchemy, I guess. You need to do something in order to get something. Like equivilant exchange. I work to get money, and then in turn, I trade the money for things we need. Understand?" He explained it gently.

Helix yawned and streached. "Anyway...Money's a lot of trouble. I hate it, personally. It just makes life harder." He laid down, and streached a little more. "People like us can't get it very easily, so it's hard for us."
