"Away?" Ryou asked, blinking. "What do you man? Am I no longer in Domino?" He glanced towards a window that Vadin had created when first setting up the room, although the blinds were pulled shut tightly. He couldn't see outside to see what time of the year it was, never mind his location.
"England," Vadin said quickly, a little annoyed that she hadn't gotten a chance to speak before then. "It's a special kind of hospital for patients with head-injuries and related things. You must have gotten some kind of bump, or so said the doctor when you first arrived. I already informed a doctor of when you first awoke, and he should be around any moment now." She frowned thoughtfully, looking towards the door. "I'll go see what's keeping him." She said, then went over to the door and opened it, where a fake hallway could be seen, although it was only half of one.
Ryou let out a slight sigh when the nurse left, glad to be alone with Kira. "Where's Bakura?" He asked in a low voice, as though Vadin was hanging around the door. "I tried to reach out to him, but there's just no link... Did something happen?"

Kira sighed "The idiot got himself in trouble.." That wouldent be hard for ryou to belive.Bakura was always in trouble. "He's been sleeping alot lately" And now to change the subject.. she thought "Guess what?" she grined "I've been learning english!I dont know how you do it ryou it so god damn hard!" she laughed

Ryou looked a little concerned, and wanted to press matters about Bakura, but decided to drop it. He instead smiled at Kira, switching to English himself to test her. "Oh, really now? I would have never guessed. So did you come down to England when-- I suppose-- I was moved here?" He raked a hand through his hair, then frowned. "Um... Has there been any word from my father? If I've been in a coma for a year, he's worried, right? Has he been informed that I'm awake?" His voice was almost pleading, and he bit his bottom lip in a response.

Kira had to think for a moment.She only heard english from thosedamn nurces who though they knew everything "Yes way" she said in a shaky broken up english.She wasent that great. "Well..because you just woke up im just he hasent been informed yet..I've never met him so I dont know...I'm sorry.." She reached out to bakura in her mind not letting ryou in.

(Forgot about Khalid. Just say that after Kira pushed him away he left the place.))
Bakura's reply was hazy. He stirred, and feebly sorted through what Kira just said. He muttered emotionlessly, though he sounded a little more awake, just barely.
"Oh..." Ryou bit his bottom lip thoughtfully. "Well do you know if there's a phone I can use? Unless my father has moved, which is actually likely, I still remember his phone number." He glanced over at the end table with a frown, where a phone usually was in hospitals, then remembered that he had just been a coma patient. Why would they include a phone in a comatose person's room? Maybe for his visitors...

she then looked to ryou. "I dunno..I go ask somebody.." she then went threw to door shutting it behind her to vadin "god you better be thinking of crap!" she asked softly "He's asking for a phone to call his dad..can you make a phone and just have it say his fathers number is disconected..?"

Vadin was leaning against a wall, still formed as the nurse. She arched an eyebrow at Kira. "Make a phone? Won't that seem a little odd to him?" She asked, running a hand through her hair. "And I have the harder part! I've got to think up all kinds of medical stuff in case he asks. Now I wonder why I even wanted to tell him he was in a coma. It'd be easier to explain that he died, went to Hell, and wound up with me!" She snapped, her voice rising a little too high for comfort.
Ryou closed his eyes and tried to clear his mind. Everything was just spinning too much. He tried to reach out again to Bakura, and then found a trace of his yami. He all but shouted aloud, jumping up from his bed in shock. He never knew of a time that he had been happier to have his yami connected to him again. He couldn't help but swear a little.
Bakura was silent. He listened to Ryou for a moment or so, but then just snapped off his connection with the boy. He didn't want to be a part of that, and it was too much on his half to keep a connection with Ryou. Kira had woken him up at a bad time, since he was still far too weak. He allowed himself to slip back into slumber.

"grr no!just make a cordless phone out here and bring in to him..damn even if we did tell him he wasin hell he wouldent belive us!hell hospitals ARE hell so we damn close enough..Should I just go in a tell him the phone lines snaped or they dont want him useing up to much energy..grr..oh and bring bakura here..out here..ryous confused about him as well!You think you hard?!?Making up medival terms are eazy after spending all the damn tmein one i knowwhat I heard.I have to make crap upabout whats going on!...ugghh .." she sighed loudly "I hate you you know that?" she said randomly.

"Your hatred towards me is exactly why I'm not about to bring Bakura here," Vadin said with a giggle, then shifted forms into a blonde doctor. He cleared his throat, glanced down at a clipboard he was holding, then tapped lightly on Ryou's door. Without waiting for a response, he pushed it open and went inside. "Ryou Bakura, right?" He asked, looking up at the said boy. Ryou nodded his head slowly, gazing cautiously at the newcomer. Vadin smiled slightly. "So good to see you awake. Well, it's good to see any of our patients on this floor awake, so I say that to everybody." Ryou looked confused, wondering if he was supposed to laugh or not. "Hmm. Anyway, did Vadin explain anything to you?"
"...the nurse?" Ryou asked after a moment, rubbing his head. "Yeah, she said some things. I pretty much know that I'm in a hospital in England, that I've been in a coma for about a year, that Kira is here and that my father isn't." Ryou said bluntly, narrowing his eyes. "Is there a phone I can use?"
"I need to give you some tests first." Vadin said, just to stall for time. He pulled out a flashlight from his pocket and flicked it on, moving over to Ryou. He lifted one of the boy's eyelids and peered into his eyes. Then he started to ask Ryou what he last remembered, if he knew what had given him the bump, recite the alphabet, who the leader was last he remembered, follow the light, stuff like that.

After a moment, Vadin did. "Well, I'll have to go get Vadin. Maybe she can find a phone... You shouldn't leave your room. Although you've been asleep for so long, you really need some rest." He hesitated, then glanced over at Ryou. "It wouldn't be a very good idea to leave you alone. I'm going to leave that nurse from before to watch over you, okay? She was assigned to take care of you when you were in the coma, so sorry if she seems a little odd to you. When you spend about a year with an unconscious person, I guess you start to feel attached to them."
Ryou was silent, just blinking at the doctor. Then a blush came over his face. "Taken care of me? As in... bathing and such?" He asked weakly, the blush darkening extremely. He didn't like the idea of a stranger-- for that was what this 'Vadin' was to him, even if she seemed to know him from before. He buried his face in his hands when the doctor raised his eyebrows slyly and put a finger to his lips, then left the room.

Kira sighed "dont worry ryou she hasent done anything..I've been here alot watching over ya too.." she chuckled "I cant really go anywere i'll get lost.." she said to him in his mind.

Vadin turned and frowned at Kira when he reached the door. "But remember that visiting hours end in half an hour. Then you have to leave." He just about snapped, before opening the door and leaving. He growled slightly when he remembered that he'd have to wait a bit before coming in as the nurse.
Ryou sighed in relief, brushing some hair from his face. "Oh, thank god... That would have been so awkward otherwise..." He mumbled, raking a hand through his hair. He paused when he felt that something was in it. Pulling his hand away, he saw half-dried blood on it, and his eyes widened. He checked the back of his head, but found no wound how to explain the blood. And he also saw that he was in street clothes, not a hospital gown. Vadin must've forgotten about that. He turned and glared slightly at Kira, who was the only other person in the room. "What's really going on?" He snapped, growing annoyed at being left in the dark. "Why is there blood in my hair, but no wound? And I'm still wearing street clothes. I'm inclined not to believe you when you say I've been in a coma for a year. It seems more like I arrived not to long ago. Besides, why is it so quiet out in the hallway? Usually there are people talking, machines, anything." His hand clentched into a trembling fist.

Vadin hissed, but burst into the room as a cheerful nurse, hiding her anger towards Kira. She frowned slightly when she saw Ryou looking so cold. "Oh, I'm sorry. Is something going on?" She asked, looking ready to back out of the room in case Ryou wanted her to leave.
Ignoring Vadin's comment, Ryou turned towards her and repeated all he had just asked Kira, except with more anger, his rage slowly building. "So just tell me what the ******** is going on!" He shouted, when he was finished. It was rare for him to cuss, so this was startling. "Is this some kind of joke? Like I just hit my head on something, so let's have fun and... and..." Ryou's eyes closed slowly, but he struggled to stay awake. He glanced with hatred towards the IV bag. "Put drugs in it...?" He asked feebly, sinking back against the pillows. "You stupid little--" He was cut off from whatever he was going to say, a sigh escaping his lips as he fell into unconsciousness.
Vadin's mock look of surprise faded into one of coldness as she moved over to Ryou and checked on him. "Oh, this is my fault..." She moaned, biting her knuckle. "His anger, I mean. Ryou would usually just muse these things silently to himself, right? Or ask in a kinder manner, correct?" She was already changing Ryou's clothes into a hospital gown, and the blood faded from his hair. "I think that when I put all of that dark energy, it tainted his soul and attitude. So you'll just have to get used to a rougher Ryou. I can't fully take out the darkness. If I did, he'd just be too weak. Unnaturally weak. I'm not sure how long it'll take for him to discover the energy at this rate, when he wakes up. Probably in some burst of anger. He would have discovered it now if I didn't do this..."
