A lot of the kids in the greater Raleigh area go to this magnet school for their band program. It is dumb, they have like 12 all state band members, but our band is like ridiculously better. Their band director sucks, and they can not balance or blend or tune or anything! We need those good players xD

I think our school played that a few years ago, if I remember correctly...
Disney was awesome, to sum up our insanity...
Epic MarioKart wars until 3 AM, a senior with a shirt that says 'Shirt.' on it having fans...
And my best guy friend/boyfriend being called Dracula 'cause he was using a jacket with pockets instead of a backpack all trip. XDDD
Oh the insanity...dunno when we'll get a video of it though. I'm sure we will. Haha.

Hartmetz gave us what our show is gonna be for marching band.

With Nightmare Before Christmas, Spiderman, and Edward Scissorhands.
Couldn't get awesomer, in my opinion. XD

I get to do A DIFFERENT SHOW A WEEK! next year!
College tiemz!
I got my cap and gown today, so exciting. But my GPA dropped last semester so I don't get to graduate with honors D= I am like .02 away. (the green tassel matches the school colors anyway! stupid gold tassel)

We don't get our caps and gowns until graduation rehearsal on the 22nd. I'll be graduating with honors (Academic honors and highest academic honors are above honors here) and my NHS stole.
Ouch, only .02 away?

That sucks, man.
Right now my GPA's like a 3.78 or something.
And it's only my freshman year. XD
Knowing my school, we'll probably get silver tassles or something.
*school colors are silver, white, black, and blue...blue's unofficial 'cause people said no color was depressing. -_-'' *

Everyone gets the same tassel here. Honors are represented by colored cords worn over the shoulders: White, light blue, and gold. White for Honors, light blue for Academic Honors, and gold for Highest Academic Honors. I should be graduating with somewhere around a 3.6 or 3.7. School colors are purple and white, so the caps and gowns are purple.

I don't know how our school does tassles.
I'll find out at graduation this year...we're playing. As always.

Which reminds me, the musical is tonight. And the rest of the week.
And the pit orchestra is playing.
I hope they don't kill the xylophone again...
I went to play it and the reverb tubes were out of place. It was weird.

My school's musical is tonight and tomorrow. I'm doing the right spotlight, fun right xp ? Our drama department pretty much sucks, considering we don't have an auditorium or a descent budget (small school, ya know?) Thankfully their is a quasi-descent stage in our gym, so the play can at least happen.
On a belated note, we went to states later Friday and got a II in class C. Yey mediocrity! rofl If we only got one more I, we would have gotten a I overall. Grrr What is cool is we didn't even go to regionals. Snow out= states by default evidentially.
