He hadn't thought much by mentioning the name sounded familiar. However as he mentioned having records, he wasn't so sure he should have. Abel glanced down at Miguel as he questioned him. He had no reason to give Miguel information in return. "Never you mind." Abel replied simply as he sat there.

He supposed it wasn't so strange that Abel would have records. He himself had a massive hard-drive filled with information on places, people, and other hoards of data he'd built up over the years. Hardly any of that hoard was in physical form. Instead he them stored and backed up to various networks. Seeing as he didn't have much of a home these days he felt it easier to keep those things together rather than stashed away in some file cabinet. Hearing Abel speak, Jakob couldn't help letting his curiosity show. He didn't expect an answer, yet still found it amusing when Abel denied him. "Hmm, must be pretty bad then." he teased. "Don't tell me, there's info on your off shore banking account, some old tax records, and something incriminating involving the cartel." He smiled up at the male as he teased him. He doubted Abel would keep such things in his records. It didn't really seem his style. Then again, the man was pretty mysterious, perhaps that would just be another layer to his personality. Abel, the international mob boss. Not much of a ring to it, but it was still something, assuming he was anywhere close to the truth.

Sure, he took Miguel in and helped him but that didn't include sharing his life's work and details. Abel was selfish and it was his business to hold onto.
As he spoke about his records, he knew Miguel was curious. However he brushed his question aside. It wasn't relevant or open for discussion. Abel listened as Miguel teased him as he continued to question him. He rolled his eyes as he looked down at Miguel. "Like I said, never you mind." Abel responded dismissing his teasing. He shifted grabbing his phone from beside him on the nightstand. Abel pulled open a web tab, "Have you eaten?" He asked, wanting to change the subject for now.

Abel had been reliant on Kirean to cook for him. When he'd come home, his sister would take care of making his meals. He hadn't been thrilled by her babysitting him. Abel had sent her away with a little force. He had regretted it but he didn't need it.
Moving onto a new topic, he asked Miguel about food. Abel wasn't about to kick Miguel out. After all he knew he was in no state right now to be wandering around. He nodded as Miguel spoke, "What do you like on your pizza?" Abel asked figuring something easy for both of them.

Abel questioned Miguel, he wasn't bothered if Miguel wanted something different. He merely figured pizza was easy. Abel listened as Miguel responded. He nodded, "Pepperoni it is then." Abel replied as he went about ordering a large Pepperoni pizza with green peppers on half.

Perhaps it was simply the near death experience but he wasn't likely to say it outloud. He nodded as he finished his order then set his phone aside. Abel returned his attention back to Miguel. He watched as he rolled in the bed beside him onto his back. Abel listened as Miguel questioned him. "I didn't really have a plan; I haven't really been out too much." He replied as he shrugged at Miguel's question.

He had to be careful not to over exert himself. Just because the outside had healed didn't mean the inside had. Abel listened as Miguel spoke. He nodded at his words. "Yeah, I still have to be careful…Sometimes I can feel pain in my side if I move just the wrong way…I've been mostly trying to regain my muscles back by working out slowly…" Abel responded as he reached down to run a hand over his own scar. It was jagged and ran from his right hip to about just under his rib.

He listened as Miguel spoke of his sister finding him. Abel nodded, not knowing such things but it didn't surprise him. Running a hand over his scar, he felt the bed shift. He watched as Miguel came closer and kissed him. Abel was surprised by the sudden need to kiss him. He wasn't too shy about it as he returned the kiss. Abel too couldn't remember when they last kissed. He tasted Miguel as he was kissed again.
After a few moments, Abel felt Miguel pull back to lie back down. He was rather disappointed by the short kiss. Abel didn't understand the sudden need for intimacy. He listened as Miguel spoke again, distracting him from his thoughts. Abel shrugged at his words. "Well, I can't just sit around doing nothing." He replied simply not worrying too much about the stairs.

Abel let Miguel do as he pleased, giving into his small demands. He knew if he questioned it, then he wasn't likely to get an answer. Abel didn't think there was one anyways. He listened as Miguel questioned him. Abel didn't understand all the questions. It wasn't as if Miguel had ever cared about him before. "I've mostly been here, haven't gone out too much…Wouldn't go well to expose my weaknesses in public…Probably only lead to another attempt on my life right now." He responded, not in the mood to die or in the best shape to defend himself.
