Anyway the easiest way to turn sand to glass is plasma, such as lightning from the sky, which creates glass tubes in the sand.
Next to that it takes a special kiln, and several hours to do it well, or right as I understand it.

King Bug Doesn't sound that impressive. What's the melting temperature for steel or stainless? I get that done all the time at work. Considerably higher than that. However, a welding arc or acetylene torch concentrates it's heat into a very small point that isn't sufficient to affect a large area. Expanding that to the size of a fist or leg becomes scary as s**t though.

Kinda like some lightning stuff. Depends on how the judges limit the usage. Like... if you can turn your hands into lava its a bit janky. Same thing with those characters that can sprout spikes like porcupines or electrocute people whenever they're grappled.

As someone playing a character who uses lightning, I never really expect people to play out the electrocution bit to its fullest. Then again, I don't really ask them too either. A few spasms or twitches to indicate that it's happening is generally enough, they don't have to fall over and have a seizure or something.
Then again, I'm the same way if I play a character using fire. I don't expect people to just go into shock and fall over, not unless my character just pins his enemy down and blowtorches their face for a couple of posts or something.

Cracked is sort of funny, as much for the content of their articles as for the fact that half the time they're not factual.

The Walking Dead is pretty cool again. I Am Legend is also pretty cool. Though I don't think I'd steal a sports car after the world ended. Maybe a minivan or something.

I just mean in general. I like the site and I get a kick out of their articles, either because they're funny as intended, or unintended because some of their articles are just kinda full of s**t. But either way, still funny and a good site.
There's one story about some old Indian dude punching a bear that was mauling his son and the bear was like "What the ******** is this s**t?" and ran away.

Apparently that's pretty common with certain kinds of animals. Mainly bears fighting for reasons they don't consider too important.
Then there's things like cougars where they don't really get scared off, so the only thing you can do is beat them to death with a rock.

It was a mother bear flipping s**t over them being too close to the cub. I think the bear probably just got confused and wandered off. Or maybe it saw the cub wander off and went to follow.
And yeah, mountain lions and cougars are serious business. They give zero ******** and unless you pop it square in the head or heart, they can actually eat a scary amount of lead before hitting the dirt.
I would absolutely not ******** with a mountain lion under any circumstances.

Bears are scavengers and generally won't stick to fight you unless you are threatening them and they can't get away, you decide to play dead, or turn and run like a b***h.
As someone who camping has had surprise walk out of tent bear encounters before, just make noise and look impressive (this last part may be hard to do when trying not to soil yourself at 6 am)
